Popular demand has compelled us to consider the reasons why Chelsea and Methusel... er, Daniel make a compatible couple and should be together.
Here are our conclusions:
• May and December are our Favorite months.
• Daniel needs more pictures for his website www.jailbait.com.
• Dr. Dan won't have to worry that in medical school he never learned what those bumps on a woman's chest are.
• Billie and Kate - Designated hitters.
• By the time she graduates, her income can supplement his Social Security.
• When old Dan finally kicks the bucket, Chelsea will inherit his Hello Kitty collection.
• Chelsea can't have kids, but she'll let Daniel keep the ones that follow him home.
• She'll alwyas know where he is. Child molesters must register in Salem.
• Saving Bo's life was one thing, but he'll really be greatful if Daniel takes the brat off his hands.
• If Daniel really is a miracle worker, maybe someday Chelsea will have boobs.
• Daniel gets a built-in lab rat for his experiments.
• If they have kids, no need to buy a cradle. Daniel keeps robbing them.
• Daniel can finally get rid of all those irritating hot babes chasing after him.
• With his experience, Daniel can wear her out playing spin the bottle on their wedding night.

Yes, all good reasons for Chan. But they are all trumped by the one reason Chan should NOT be together...................the couple just doesn't work on ANY level.
I don't see any chemistry between the two actors. Absolutely nothing provided a basis for a relationship between two characters. The whole "big love" thing just came out of left field.

You are so right prevuze Daniel and Chelsea defenitely do belong together. They have amazing chemistry and they are two great actors that do a great job at portraying their characters. I surely can't wait for their date to finally air on tv. Daniel is so HOT!!
Daniel and Chelsea have soooo much chemistry. I actually feel their chemistry through the screen. They have had a connection from day one on the bench and they have kept it this whole time. The way they look at each other and laugh and everything. I don't see age or anything else but them when I watch them. They are amazing together and I know they will be even more amazing in the future. They are very much in love with each other. I am rooting for them 100%!
Thank you for posting a top 10 list for Dansea /Chan. They really should be together. They are the reason so many of us watch the show. There is nothing more beautiful than when two consenting adults decide to take a chance on love despite the obstacles. You really forgot to mention a few things though. ( I know it can be hard when limited to only 10 items)

Amazing chemistry - those two just sparkle in every scene they have together. And their kissing scenes, just look so real. I haven’t seen chemistry this good on TV in a long time.
Bonded by pain- two tragic souls drawn together in a chance meeting. They both thought they were “bad omens” that brought pain to the people they cared about - but meeting each other helped them realize the error of their thinking. The transplant surgery saved more than just Bo….it saved them too. Chelsea finally learned to love herself and come to terms with the person she was and who she wants to become. She learned to embrace life and live in the moment. Daniel learned that you can’t escape life and the pain that comes with it by running. He has decided to start living again and look beyond the here and now…and contemplate a future.
Their connection - They understood each other from the start. She laughed at his corny sense of humor and understood his “surfer speak“, and he knew just what to say to make her feel better, when no one else could. They are both brave, strong, fearless, and fighters. Definitely could be a formidable couple if they set their minds to it.

And as far as what Roselyn said, I do agree, this couple did bond over pain. Viewer pain. :D
Hee, I guess some people don't get sarcasm. Chan has very little chemistry in my book, SC is a pretty crappy actor if I'm supposed to believe he's been in love with Chelsea all this time. I wish they'd get a clue and end this couple that sucks the life right out of the show.

I'd rather have root canal without anesthesia. How many ways can you say he's an idiot, treats her like wet garbage, she is the poster child for abused woman's syndrome and somehow together they manage to bore us into a catatonic state whenever they are together?
I haven't found a couple on Days with more chemistry than Daniel and Chelsea (Dansea) in probably thirty five years. I've heard people say Sami and EJ have no chemistry, or that EJ and Nicole have no chemistry or that Philip and Belle had no chemistry because in their tiny little narrow minds they didn't want to see it. Well they did, they do and so do Daniel and Chelsea. The number one reason this story needs to be told is to broaden the minds of the bigots who see an age difference as something dirty or wrong. Get your mind out of the gutter and back into the joys of love.
i don't think Chelsea is such and idiot it will take her thirty years to graduate. But that's just my opinion.
I love Chan. They have tons of chemistry, more than any new couple I've seen in years. Looks to me like most of the naysayers are a bunch of bitter Chick fans.

Thanks for posting reasons why Chan should be together, you're right they should be together. They have chemistry and age is nothing but a number, they are both adults, they have fun together and they understand each other. Love happens, no one has control over who they fall in love with.
Well it is nice to see that everyone is talking about Chan/Dansea, it is just sad that it has to be written with such hateful words. I love the pairing of Daniel and Chelsea and like the rest can see the connection and chemistry they have together. I am looking forward to them dating and connecting even more. This story has so much potential because of the realism. It is by far one of the best pairings I have seen in all of my days of watching.
These two definitely belong together. They have great chemistry. Both actors really bring charisma to the show and know how to play their parts. I cant wait for the storyline to progress and move forward hopefully drowning out all the hateful words directed towards them!! ;)

I am a HUGE fan of Daniel and Chelsea! They do have a chemistry and a connection that surpasses any of the other couples on the show right now. That said, it is not ment to offend fans of the other couples, Stax, Ejami, Lumi and the many others...to each their own. I am adult enough to respect the fact that others have favs that I don't and that doesn't give me the right to trash the couple or each as individuals for that matter.
First of all this is a SHOW for entertainment purposes and what we have to all remember is that all the couples on this show are consenting adults that are choosing their own paths. As all of us are fans of Days we should be greatful that the show is still on the air after all these years and if we want this show to continue to be on the air we need to be supportive of the writers, actors and the stories that they are telling us...that doesn't mean that you have to like it just that in order for our show to stay on the air we need not say some of the offensive and cruel things that I have been reading online.
Late getting to Prevuze today but well worth it! Loved Daniel not having to look up Barbie's skirt now. HAHAHHA
My problem with Chan isn't the age or the chemistry thing. I just can't fathom what the good doctor and Nick see in her to begin with. One of the most unbelievable scenes lately (I know, we're talking DOOL here) was when the guys were drooling over Chelsea when Stephanie was standing next to her. Or, in my opinion, I think Morgan is much prettier and smarter than either one of them. She's a character and actress I hope they keep and I like her with Phillip (Phorgan? Millip? I'm not good and these combined names) much better than Phloe.
Oh well, thanks to Prevuze it gave us not only a few laughs this weekend but judging from the number of comments today apparently a great debate. Thanks! :D

I am with Cindy I have been watching Days for 15 years and I haven't seen a couple on there with more chemistry than these two...they truly do sparkle on tv. Infact, Dansea is the only thing that keeps me watching Days right now if not for them I would have quit watching by now. I can't wait for the rest of the storyline to play out.
