Mogul Babies

Rafe sticks his head into Sami's room where she is sleeping. She doesn't wake up and he leaves. As soon as he's gone, Sami stirs, "Rafe? Rafe?" Back to sleep. She dreams of EJ, "Rape? Rape?"

Abe is at Bo's house to grill him about Kayla's shooting. "I blew it bigtime," says Bo.

"I know," says Abe, "But what can you do? You're married to her."

Hope comes into Kayla's room and asks for forgiveness.

Phillip discovers Stephanie at Titan. Stephanie whines, "You're not the man I thought you were."

Phillip asks, "You mean you didn't know about all the fake body parts?"

Melanie calls EJ and leaves a rambling message because he didn't call her back about the Alternative Fuel Project. Max finds her and asks what's up.

Nicole goes to check on Sydney as EJ and Brady continue to argue.

Suddenly Nicole screams, "NO! MY BABY! SOMETHING'S WRONG WITH MY BABY! SHE'S NOT BREATHING! SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING!"

Stephanie tells Phillip she heard him say he would bury Melanie. It makes Stephanie sick. Phillip says, "I will do what it takes to keep that patent here – at Titan."

Stephanie asks, "Even if it means destroying Melanie?" Audience cheering drowns out the remainder of their conversation.

Melanie says she's going to give the project to the DiMeras. Max lectures her for screwing things up.

Nicole grabs Sydney, fakes a handoff to EJ, goes right, dodges Brady and runs out the door.

Abe tells Bo he's a hero. Bo doesn't agree. He tells Abe he betrayed Hope because he didn't tell her about his vision, "Hope isn't speaking to me."

"Every cloud has a silver lining."

Kayla and Hope get all kissy and magnanimous Kayla forgives her. Hope says, "I shouldn't have been anywhere near you."

"A lot of people feel that way," says Kayla.

Sister Teresa tells Sami Rafe got called to the office. Sami says, "I have this really bad feeling, like I'm never gonna see him again."

"Should I call Rafe and give him that piece of good news," asks Sister Teresa.

Nicole and EJ rush up to Lexie at the hospital. Brady follows like a lost puppy. Lexie takes Sydney and goes to look for a doctor. Nicole flashes back to the switcheroo.

Stephanie continues to bounce off the walls, "You are heartless!"

"No," says Phillip, "That's one of my few remaining original parts." Phillip goes off the scale with rage, "This company didn't get where it is by being nice. That's the way it is in the corporate world, sweetie. You are free to walk away if you want."

Melanie and Max keep it up. Melanie goes into overdrive, "Phillip's too busy sleeping with your ex-girlfriend to realize the Alternative Fuel Project and I are a package deal." A referee tosses a flag. Melanie gets fifteen yards for unsportsmanlike conduct.

"You're starting a war between the DiMeras and the Kiriakis," says Max, "what's in it for you?"

Bo tells Abe about his visions of both Theo and Hope. He says he could have stopped the shooting and instead Kayla is in the hospital and Hope won't talk to him.

"Sounds like a great opportunity to call Patch and go out and have some fun tonight," says Abe, "Too bad Lexie didn't get in the way of a bullet, too."

Hope tells Kayla about Bo's vision. Kayla goes into shock. If Patch ever walked into a room at the wrong moment, this is it. Patch stands there like a fish out of water. The flowers in his hand wilt. The room goes cold. Right now, Patch must be feeling about the same thing the Christians in Rome did when they walked into the Coliseum with a bunch of hungry lions.

Sister Teresa insists Sami will see Rafe again. Sami gets all poopy-whiny about him, "He takes care of me. He's always (say it with her) there for me."

Lexie announces they don't know what is wrong with Sydney. Nicole explodes and says she wants answers now. EJ brings her back from the brink. Brady watches Nicole and EJ's cuddlefest.

Patch feels a bit uncomfortable. "Right," says Kayla, "That growling sound you hear isn't my stomach telling me I'm hungry." She asks Patch if Bo told him about the vision. Patch is cornered. He asks for a couple of minutes alone with Kayla. Bad move. He should have asked Hope to call for backup and a straight jacket instead. Hope leaves and Patch fesses up and joins Bo at Chez Doghouse.

Stephanie and Phillip continue to beat their long-dead horse. "So," snorts Stephanie, "You're a ruthless bastard?"

"Yes," says Phillip, "I'm a ruthless bastard – no one's perfect. I'll repeat – you can walk away anytime you want."

"You keep telling me that," says Stephanie, "I know my options. I'm not an idiot."

"Good, you've changed," says Phillip. Stephanie says she doesn't want to break up with him. She wants him to be able to make the right decision without hurting someone.

"I wish I'd have been able to make that decision about stepping on that land mine," says Phillip.

Max asks, "What is your game, Melanie? You wanna settle down and have a few mogul babies? You think Phillip will marry you to keep the project at Titan? He doesn't have feelings for you."

Melanie has a flashback to her kissing fantasy. Wow. A flashback to a fantasy. I'll bet Shakespeare never thought of artistry like that. "I wouldn't be so sure," says Melanie, "I have everything Phillip wants... Beauty... charm... brains... the project."

"One out of four ain't bad," says Max.

EJ goes for tea. Brady goes for Nicole. Nicole turns to him and whines the official Salem motto, "I blame myself."

Patch madly leafs through the guy manual and tries to worm his way out of his predicament. He reads out loud, "You're right baby. It was stupid. I'll do anything to make it up to you."

Bo says he has a surprise for Hope. He hands her tickets to Hawaii. Hope thinks it's a great idea as long as he's going by himself. She turns down the trip and says she can't forgive him or herself, "You will not dismiss my feelings – never again."

A gal in the audience yells, "Don't throw those tickets away – I'm not dumb enough to turn down a trip to Hawaii."

Rafe comes back looking for Sami. Sister Teresa tells him Sami is out walking Grace and Pookie. She thinks Rafe sounds sad he's going to have to move on. He says his meeting was a complete disaster.

Brady tells Nicole to focus on the baby. Nicole zones out, "You can't even say 'your baby.' I know God is punishing me for this."

"You ain't seen nothin' yet," says God, "When you get where you're eventually going... no need to pack a winter coat."

A gal in the audience stands up, "'Scuze me, God. We didn't do anything. Why are you punishing us, too?"

Phillip rants about Melanie.

Max says, "EJ is a shark in a suit and Phillip is just as dangerous. You're a minor league player in a major league game. Kind of like Tyler Thigpen."

"You mean kind of like you in a racecar," says Melanie.

Bo and Hope. Same-o, same-o.

Brady says God isn't punishing Nicole, "No one is to blame here." Hugs. EJ, of course, shows up.

Patch grovels. "Just hold me," whines Kayla. Patch jumps in with her and hugs. Kayla screeches, "AAK! Not where she shot me! St. Kayla becomes more forgiving than St. Hope.

"I want change," screams Hope.

"You got Obama," says Bo, "What more do you want?"

Hope says she's decided to move into Doug and Julie's place for a while. They're on a trip so she and Ciara will have the place to themselves. She runs up to pack.

Rafe tells Sister Teresa the meeting didn't go well. He lied to his boss so he can continue to guard Sami. "You could lose everything for Sami," says Sister Teresa, "You care about her."

Nicole tells EJ there is no news about Sydney. EJ tells Brady to go. Nicole protests. EJ wants to know what's going on between the two of them.

Max tells Melanie a lot of people have gone up against the Kiriakis family and fallen flat on their butt.

"Boo hoo for them," yells Melanie, "I'll use the Alternative Fuel Project as bait and Phillip will fall so hard for me he won't know what hit him."

Phillip lectures Stephanie for eavesdropping. He doesn't want someone around who thinks she is better than him. He walks off.

Hope comes down with her suitcase. Ciara will take the bus. Bo rages, "You're taking off because you want to punish me. Don't you realize it would punish me more if you stuck around? " He tries reverse psychology, "You go on. I'll be fine."

Unfortunately, Bo's psychology doesn't work in forward, let alone reverse. Hope leaves. Bo broods and then pulls a 'John Black' maneuver.*

*He trashes the place

Sami pouts. Rafe walks in. Hello... Depression... Meet manic... Her joy is short-lived. She gets all over him for leaving without telling her. Rafe says he made the case to his boss that the killer may have had a partner and they can stay in the convent a few more days. The bipolar bimbo flips her mood in the other direction. She's just tickled to hear that news and gives him a big hug. Suddenly, she breaks it off and asks, "Did I get you in trouble with your boss?"

"No."

"Darn."

Brady tells EJ this is about his 12-step program. EJ is confused, "If I was too stupid to figure out Nicole's fake baby scheme, why would you think I would be able to comprehend a number as large as twelve?" Brady gives up and leaves.

Nicole contemplates spilling the beans, "I am the fool. I'm no good. I screw up everything I touch. I can't keep you in the dark. I have to tell you everything."

Hope comes into Kayla's room and asks for forgiveness.

What did Hope think Kayla would do…press charges? Hope is just trying to assuage her guilt. If Kayla can’t make her feel better, she’ll just dump on Bo. Here’s a novel concept. Hope should take responsibility for her actions and quit whining.

Suddenly Nicole screams, "NO! MY BABY! SOMETHING'S WRONG WITH MY BABY! SHE'S NOT BREATHING! SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING!"

Instead of screaming, Nicole should pick up Stefano’s funky looking phone and dial 911. While waiting for the paramedics, she could try a little mouth to mouth resuscitation. Instead, the three dopes drive the baby to the hospital. Geez.

"This company didn't get where it is by being nice. That's the way it is in the corporate world, sweetie. You are free to walk away if you want."

Apparently, Phillip and Stephanie just aren’t that into each other.

"I have everything Phillip wants... Beauty... charm... brains... the project."

"One out of four ain't bad," says Max.

Prevuze gets a high five for that one!

“I know God is punishing me for this."

"You ain't seen nothin' yet," says God, "When you get where you're eventually going... no need to pack a winter coat."

A gal in the audience stands up, "'Scuze me, God. We didn't do anything. Why are you punishing us, too?"

God, if dusting off my Rosary will help, I promise to brush up on my Hail Marys. Any sign will do. Stefano nailing Nicole’s scrawny butt to the wall would be a good start.

"I want change," screams Hope.

"You got Obama," says Bo, "What more do you want?"

A stimulus package not loaded with pork.

Well, I hope that Bo can trade the airline tickets to Hawaii for tickets to Switzerland. With this delightful “Hope can’t forgive Bo” storyline, they are bound to join the rest of the DOOL castaways. First, Jawn leaves and soon it will be Tony. Sigh.

TGIF and thank the gods for Prevuze!!

Another boring episode it seems. Niho is driving we crazy. They are lettng her get away with way too much. I think we will have to deal with all this baby switcharoo stupidity until AS gets back from maternity leave. I heard she is taking a short one. We'll see. Let's hope so. This crab stinks.

Nah. Ciara has already taken the bus. She went ahead to get the place in shape for their stay.

Bo broods and then pulls a 'John Black' maneuver.

Ooh! Ooh! Are we seeing the return of Snarly?

The pictures had me laughing out loud this morning, especially the newest reason for school kids to practice "Duck & Cover" and Chloe's "stimulus package". And Bulldog - how 'bout more of that Gal Manual? The Guy Manual is getting way too much attention. LOL

It's Friday. It's in the 60's in February. It's Prevuze. What more could you want?

Ok, This is my first post. I am annoyed as h***. Why in the world would Hope pack up and leave with Ciara - who no one has really seen in many, many months????? Just because Bo didnt tell her about his vision????? She doesnt listen to him anyway. Why would Bo think that even if he had told her, she would listen. For this one little thing, she is packing up and moving? After all the cr** they have been through together????? This is going to be what breaks them up?????? Guess this is one more reason why I only read Prevuze and not watch the show.

What did Hope think Kayla would do…press charges?
Agreed... but wouldn't it be hilarious if she did.

I wonder if that'll become an office joke. "Remember that time Bo's wife shot his sister!"

Phillip discovers Stephanie at Titan. Stephanie whines, "You're not the man I thought you were."
Um... did she not hear about him taking Claire from Shawn and Belle and their race around the world in 90 days? Or his dealing with her 'sister' Morgan? What in the world gave the impression that Philip was sugar and spice.

"You will not dismiss my feelings – never again."
I don't even like Bo... but would they get off his back. This storyline is unbelievable, unless they want you to believe that Hope is a crackpot. (cause she ain't a crackshot).

EJ tells Brady to go. Nicole protests. EJ wants to know what's going on between the two of them.
Looks like a match made in heaven. Nicole is only allowed female friends, she's actually lucky she doesn't has ties into that crazy family. Ej himself is beginning to remind me of Lucas, in a bad way.

He doesn't want someone around who thinks she is better than him. He walks off.
Is that why he fought for Belle all that time?

Wow Applecheeks, it's like 20 degrees here in New York. haha.

I love all your KC Chiefs jokes. Are you a local?

Ho and Dope should install a revolving door in their house. The last time Hope dumped Bo she ran off and had an affair with Patrick. Who's shoulder is she going to whine on now? Let's see...Dr. Feelgood is almost available. If he can get rid of Chloe, maybe Hope can run into him when she's at the hospital visiting Kayla and get things going there.

Rafe really is a sucker for punishment isn't he?

Loved "Bo's psychology doesn't work in forward, let alone reverse" and the image of the angry pit Patch walked into. Were their eyes glowing and heads spinning? HAHAHA

And Klaus - "is that why he fought for Belle all that time?" Good one (and so true).

I'm still laughing over Tyler Thigpen. Prevuze - the best sports blog on the internet. And a great way to start a Friday, thanks! TGIP!

Knowing Bo's great intelligence he probably bought non-refundable tickets to Hawaii.

I'm joining to join the others and say Hope is getting on my last nerve!

I'm getting very annoyed at seeing Bo's "I screwed up again" face. He's been using that same anguished look since he started on the show. He should've known then that he could never be good enough for perfect Hope.

Prevuze, I don't see it as you "picking on things that suck, Chiefs...Lions...DOOL"...it's more like truth in reporting!

I absolutely lost it(LOL!!!) when I read about Abe's comment to Bo to call Patch for a boys night out, esp. your comment about "too bad that Lexie didn't get in the way of a bullet, too!" OMG, that was good! Here's another high five Prevuze!

What I want to know is when Stephanie had a change of heart towards Melanie's welfare...

I want Bo to just set Hope straight. He DID try to warn her. He told her over and over NOT to go see Kay. She don't remember that. She couldn't just trust him on it and not go to see her? She had to have it told to her like she was a kid? She has no right to put this all on him. He DID try to warn her. SHE is the one that didn't listen.
Now, how many times will Chloe and Dan say they don't want each other just to lock lips and other body parts? We need to put EJ and Lucas in a cell together. They're both clueless.
What's Nicole going to do if Sydney kicks the bucket? Will she go to the convent for her spare kid?
In the meantime, Sami cries.
