A Bad Choice Is Better Than No Choice

Brady offers a toast to Mrs. Brady Black. He has made Chloe the happiest woman on earth. Kiss. Nicole watches through the keyhole, “I can’t let this happen. Brady belongs to me.” She thinks Victor may be coming and runs off.

Caroline tells Victor she is the one who released Nicole.

Nicole sneaks around the garden. Nico catches her, “Going somewhere Mrs. Kiriakis?”

Jennifer says she has never seen a more radiant bride than Chloe. Jack tells Jennifer she was. Frankie watches as they kiss.

Roman gives Abe the latest on DiMera – nothing. Roman is checking out everyone who had contact with him. They still can’t find the female attorney who saw him, “Tek is pulling a surveillance tape as we speak.”

Sami runs through the news on her cell phone. She finds nothing about Tony’s escape. She gives herself a pep talk. Everything will work out.

“Why wouldn’t it,” asks Lucas.

Patrick escorts Chelsea into the reception. They are the first ones there. Patrick says they need to talk about Billie. Chelsea starts to leave but he stops her.

Bo is upset Chelsea is with Lockhart. Hope tells him Patrick is OK. Before they go in, Hope tells him to promise he won’t make a scene. Patrick isn’t interested on hitting on an eighteen-year-old girl. They walk in and see Patrick hitting on the eighteen-year-old girl. Bo grits his teeth.

Alex tells John he is interfering with the therapy.

John says, “The only place she feels safe is in your cabin with no one in her life but you.”

“You mean where she isn't pressured,” says Alex, “I’m afraid you may not have a choice, Mr. Black.”

Belle begs Marlena to talk to her. Marlena says John just keeps pushing her. Belle says they are all just worried about her.

“Maybe I did love him and now I don’t – how could I,” asks Marlena.

John asks what Alex means. “Just what I said. I can help your wife because she doesn’t feel threatened by me. If you leave us alone she will improve.”

“I’m sick and tired of you telling me my wife may not know I am the man she loves,” says John.

Alex says, “You took up with Miss Roberts very quickly when Marlena was gone. And you still love her. A part of you always will.”

“Marlena will love me with or without your help,” says John.

Alex says, “It is not uncommon for an amnesiac to recover only part of her memory. In that case, she might only remember being with Roman.”

Belle asks how Marlena would know she doesn’t love John. Marlena says, “I made love with Roman. How could I still love John?”

“I know how much you love Dad,” says Belle, “Just because you slept with Roman one time doesn’t mean you love him. It just happened.”

Marlena hits below the belt, “Just the way it happened you are pregnant by a man you don’t love?”

Sami says she was just checking her messages.

Lucas says, “All that matters is we are going to get married. We are going to spend all the Days Of Our Lives together. Don’t worry.”

Sami promises him she won’t worry.

Nico and Nicole. Nico has come to help her leave town permanently. He draws a gun.

“Nothing can scare me away from the man I love,” says Nicole, “Haven’t you ever been in love before, just once?”

“One time, a long time ago,” says Nico.

Nicole says, “Then you can understand. I have to make Brady see that I am the one he loves. Once he sees what’s in my purse he will understand.”

“Nicole, I have orders,” he says, as he points the gun at her.

Patrick tells Chelsea there is no excuse for the way she is treating Billie.

Jack comes in yelling, “Make way for my beautiful bride.” He was inspired by the wedding. He tells Jennifer he wants to spend all his time letting her know how much he loves her. They kiss, she goes to freshen up.

Frankie comes up. He asks Jack how he is doing. “Great,” says Jack, “for a guy who’s on short time.”

Frankie says, “I thought you got some good news. I noticed you have been very attentive with Jen. I think that’s great. I think you need to spend a lot of time with her alone.”

“Just make sure you are waiting in the wings,” says Jack.

Frankie says, “She has to be told. She has a right to know.”

Jennifer walks up and asks, “A right to know what?” The same thing you had a right to know weeks ago when we saw this same-exact lame scene.

John says, “If you knew anything about my wife you would know that thing between her and Roman was a mistake.”

“That’s possible,” says Alex, “But some people believe there are no mistakes. Still, she may never recover her memory. If that is the case she will be lost to you and everyone who loves her.”

“That won’t happen.”

Alex says, “She probably will remember part of her past. If she remembers the part about loving Roman, you will have to accept it.”

“Then you don’t know me,” says John.

Marlena tells Belle she noticed Belle couldn’t take her eyes off Shawn at the wedding, “Your love for Phillip is different.”

They talk. Belle insists Marlena still loves John.

Marlena says, “You haven’t stopped loving Shawn have you?” Belle hesitates. Marlena says, “Oh... I didn’t think so.”

Belle bawls, “I can’t help how I feel.”

“I know you can’t,” says Marlena, “I can’t even imagine how terrible it is for you, being pregnant with the wrong man’s child.” Belle wails, “What am I gonna do?”

Marlena thinks for a moment. A tactical error. Belle sees her opening. She rips the basketball out from under her dress, fakes left, goes right, executes a Jordanesque leaping 360° and jams the ball in the hoop. The crowd goes wild. Belle chicken-struts.

Nicole tells Nico Victor talks a big game. Victor comes up and tells her, “I wouldn’t count on that. You should have left when you had the chance.”

“You’re right, my mistake,” says Nicole, “I was just on the way out. She runs. Nico points the gun.

Victor stops him and tells him, “Get her.”

Brady sees what is going on, “What the hell?”

Chelsea doesn’t see how Billie could have let anyone take a baby away from her.

“That was the DiMeras,” says Patrick.

“Is everything in this town the DiMeras,” asks Chelsea, “We... I think we can work something out,”

Jack stammers and tries to come up with something.

“I don’t want to interrupt something special,” says Frankie.

Jennifer says Frankie is welcome to join them, “Jack and I have the rest of our lives together.” Frankie agrees to stay for one drink.

Mimi thanks Shawn for giving her a ride, “I really do have to get my car fixed. Just because you brought me doesn’t mean you have to hang out with me.”

“I can’t think of anyone else I want to hang out with,” says Shawn. They immediately spilt up.

Abe and Lexie come in. Roman asks to borrow Abe and Tek. Lexie excuses herself.

The three of them talk about the attorney. “I got a look all right,” Says Tek, “You wont’ believe what I found.”

Chloe says they should go to the reception.

“They will just have to wait a little longer,” says Brady. He kisses her. Chloe tells him to save something for the honeymoon.

Nico drags Nicole back screaming and kicking. “Get rid of her,” says Victor.

“Marlena will get better and remember she loves me and no one else,” says John.

Alex says, “You sound very confident. But I sense you are really afraid of losing her. If you put your trust in me, I will do everything I can to help her. Can you put aside your fears, your mistrust, and do what’s best for your wife?” John is probably thinking, “Yes, I can. I’ll start by getting her a new shrink.”

Marlena tells Belle she isn’t the best person to give her advice, “having been in the same situation, but having said that, my disconnection to the circumstance lets me see what I would have done if I hadn’t lost the baby.”

“What is that,” asks Belle. Inquiring minds want to know. Oh, this is Belle. I should have said, inquiring people want to know.

“Not important right now,” says Marlena, “The important thing is what you will do. Dr. North says making a bad choice is better than making no choice.” The guy’s a genius, isn't he? “You have to do what’s right for the baby.”

“You’re right,” sobs Belle, “Thank you. Just talking to you always helps. I hope you get better because we need you.”

“You know what,” says Marlena, “You shouldn’t worry. Everything will turn out for the best. I have to go back inside.”

Shawn comes out, “You OK?”

“I’ve never felt worse in my life,” says Belle. We’ll take that as a ‘No.’ Mimi watches.

Tek shows Roman a picture of the back of the attorney, “She had her back to the camera all the time. We got her name, though. The American Bar Association has never heard of her.” Just like Mickey.

“Another dead end,” says Roman.

Abe says, “She will resurface when she finds out Toni’s jailbreak was a bust – no pun intended.”

“She is probably Tony’s main accomplice,” says Roman.

Jennifer and Lexie head to the girls room again. They gotta cut back on the liquids. Frankie tells Jack Jennifer is getting suspicious. He thinks Jack should tell her. Jack argues Lockhart is lying and if he tells Jennifer their whole plan is up in smoke. Frankie tells him to stop the craziness right here, right now.

Victor announces the bride and groom. Scruffy and Whiney dance.

Maggie invites the others to dance.

Chelsea tells Patrick, “You did ask me here as your date and you wanted to talk to me about something else than Billie. So dance with me.”

“Fine,” says Patrick, “one dance.”

Bo seethes. Salem dances.

Alex talks to Marlena. He tells her John and he have finally reached an agreement. Some shrink. He didn’t hear a word John said. Marlena and Alex dance. John snorts.

Jennifer drags Jack onto the dance floor. He stumbles and claims he twisted his ankle. He asks Frankie to fill in. He bargains with Jennifer. If she dances with Frankie, he will let Lexie take a look at his ankle. They go to dance and Lexie comes up.

“I lied,” says Jack, “I am in major pain here.”

Frankie says, “You still worry about Jack, don’t you?”

Jennifer says, “I lost him twice. I would worry about him if we were 100 years old.”

Lexie tells Jack he’s starting to have inflammation in his joints, “I’m sorry to have to tell you this. But this will happen more frequently. You need to tell Jennifer the truth.”

Abby walks up, “Tell mom the truth about what?” Jack stares.

Chelsea smiles at Patrick.

Alex tells Marlena she is a wonderful dancer. John is peeved.

“I have to thank you for being here with me,” says Marlena, “I couldn’t have gotten through this without you.”

Sami and Lucas dance. “Your mom is dancing with her doctor,” says Lucas.

“Better than with John,” says Sami. Roman cuts in. They are practicing for their father-daughter dance tomorrow. Next, they will practice Sami’s perp-walk. Sami suggests Roman “cut in on Mom dancing with that quack doctor.”

“Later,” says Roman.

She asks what Roman was saying to Tek. He tells her Tony escaped from jail.

‘OMG,” says Sami, “He escaped, again?”

“But we recaptured him,” says Roman, “He’s back behind bars so you got nothin’ to worry about.” Sami worries.

Lexie says she will get Jack a prescription. She leaves and Abby gives him the third decree. Jack claims it’s nothing. He turned his ankle so that’s why Frankie is dancing with her mom.

Abby is concerned, “Frankie was her boyfriend. It seems you’ve been trying to push them together. Why would you do that?”

Chelsea thanks Patrick. He tells her to keep her end of the deal. She goes for another soda. Bonnie comes up and asks Patrick, “Why are you acting so interested in Chelsea Benson?”

Bo steps up and says, “That’s what I would like to know.” Well, he certainly wouldn’t want to do anything to get under your skin, now would he, Bo?

Victor barks into his cell phone, “What do you mean you lost her again? You find her and keep her away form my grandson and his wife.”

Brady toasts his future with Chloe. They will always love each other. And whine happily ever after. Nicole cries as they kiss.

Belle says, “I was just talking to my mom about my dad and Roman. She can’t remember, but she just kept saying she couldn’t comprehend being in love with one man while carrying another man’s baby. But I know all about that.”

Shawn asks, “Are you saying you are still in love with me?” Mimi watches. FF.

Happy Monday!!

With Prevuze, the day always starts off with a bang. In this case it started out with the inspired scene of Belle's basketball moves. Between her "chicken-strut" and Sami's "perp walk" I think I detect a theme. HAHAHA

And why, oh why, do these characters insist on walking up in the middle of other people's conversations and butt in with "tell the truth about what", or, "don't tell me what"?? Why don't they just keep quiet, stay where they are and just listen to the rest of the conversation. Maybe they'd find out what people are talking about.
