Those Ding-Dong Groupies

Mia reads EJ and Nicole's announcement as she sits at a table in the pub. She flashes back to having her baby, with, of course, lots of screaming. Will interrupts. She comes out of her funk and invites him to sit down. He asks about the paper and she says she's reading about the wedding, "They're the perfect little family, aren't they?"

Will nearly chokes, "Now maybe, but the bride... She was my stepmom."

Brady wanders out of the sanctuary, "Don't do it, Nicole. Don't do it."

Stefano comes into the rumpus room and asks where Nicole is. EJ says, "She is out as usual."

Stefano can't believe it, "On the eve of the wedding?"

"A girl has to do what a girl has to do," says EJ, "Besides, you're talking as if there will be a wedding."

Nicole watches as Rafe and Sami bicker, "I know that guy, but how?" She flashes back to the cable repair caper, "OMG! That's how I know him!"

Brady continues to wander. He huffs and stares, then leaves the church. The gripping excitement on this show never ends, does it?

Melanie is at the Java Café. She orders a salad and asks to put it onto Maggie's tab. The waitress says, "Maggie Horton doesn't have a tab here, although we do comp her a meal now and then if she comes up with some really juicy gossip."

Melanie gets indignant, "This purse is probably worth more than you make in a month!" The waitress stomps off and reality sinks in. Melanie whispers, "Oh, yeah I really can't afford it. I hate being poor. Luckily I have a backup plan."

Sami rants about her daughter's welfare, "If she finds out she'll resent me forever. Rafe goes silent and now Sami gets mad at him for clamming up. The guy can't win. Sami says she needs him, "No matter what I decide with EJ, you're not gonna leave Salem."

Prevuze

Rafe thinks it over, "Wait-a-minute. Even if you hook up with EJ and we don't wind up together, you still want to control my life? I'll bet you'd be a joy to be married to."

Melanie eats her lunch. She sticks a piece of garbage into the salad.

"EEEEEEEEEKKKKK!"

"If I don't get compensation I'll sue!"

The waitress rushes up. She's wise to Melanie's trick, "You put that in there and if you don't knock it off I'll get the manager. Pay or else you'll be out scrubbing pots and pans."

LOOK! UP IN THE SKY! IT'S A BIRD! IT'S A PLANE! NO! IT'S BRADY-MAN! Brady says he'll cover the cost of the salad. Melanie gives him a nervous smile.

Mia is stunned that Nicole is his stepmother. She asks if Nicole brings back bad memories. Will says he was too young to remember. He only knows what people have told him. He knows his mom hates her and Nicole only married his dad for his money. Technically, it wasn't Lucas' money. "She also drank a lot," says Will, "Why do you care so much? Do you know her?"

"Actually," says Mia, "I do.:

Rafe won't promise anything. Now it's his turn to rant at Sami. And you don't rant at Sami without getting rant-back. He wonders if she is doing this to stop EJ and Nicole's wedding. Sami insists that's not it and she isn't in love with EJ. So, she's not in love with EJ; She's not in love with Rafe; She's not in love with Lucas. She's in love with Sami. She says she doesn't want him to go.

"I'm not making this decision based on what you want," says Rafe. He turns and leaves. Sami blitherslobbersnots.

Stefano and EJ discuss Nicole. Seeing Nicole and Phillip's girlfriend embracing derailed EJ. Stefano growls, "If Nicole wants to associate with Phillip Kiriakis and those ding-dong groupies of his, then she is a traitor."

With the impeccable timing you only find on DOOL, Nicole walks in, "No Stefano, I know the real traitor and I'm gonna prove it right now."

Mia says how she knows Nicole is complicated. She says she knows a girl, "She was a good girl, but she made a few mistakes."

"That happens a lot in Salem," says Will.

Mia goes on, "The school put her in a mentoring program and Nicole was her mentor."

Will just about swallows his fork, "NICOLE?"

"Yeah," says Mia, "She seemed cool. I met her a few times." Will asks when all this happened. "This was a long time ago," says Mia, "Why?"

"Nicole Walker has major issues," says Will, "I mean... I'm talkin' about serious issues."

"How can you tell," asks Mia.

"Years of living with my mom," says Will, "Believe me, I can spot serious issues a mile away."

Nicole says she went to Sami's because Johnny's meds were in her car. EJ wants to know who the traitor is. Nicole says there was a man at Sami's named Rafe, "This guy Rafe... I met him before. Right here in this house. He was here to fix the cable system. In fact, he's the reason we can still pick up DOOL."

Stefano growls, "I'll kill him!"

We pan in on a guy's feet walking through the park. Oh! Who, oh who can it be? The suspense is killing me! We pan up to find Rafe, who flashes back to scenes with Sami. He takes out his phone and stares.

Sami bounces Grace and tells her she has to make a big decision. "I've decided," says Grace, "I'm leaving as soon as I can." Sami's phone rings. She sees it's Rafe and stares.

Sami picks up. Rafe folds his phone and agonizes, "Dammit!" He makes another call, "I need to talk to you."

Melanie rants about suing the Java Café. Brady tells her she doesn't need to keep the charade up – he'll pay. Melanie says she can't pay him back. He tells her not to sweat it. He says he thinks Phillip was wrong for her. Melanie asks, "So, are you or aren't you?"

"What?"

"Single."

Brady changes the subject. Melanie wonders why he never dated anyone at work. Melanie gasps, "You're still in love with that awful woman, aren't you?"

Brady asks, "Which one? "

Nicole tells Stefano and EJ about "The cable guy." Stefano rushes out of the room to check things out and Nicole insists she is right about this, "Sami was spying on you." EJ gets a call. Nicole asks, "That's Sami isn't it?" EJ answers.

It's Sami, "I need to tell you something... now."

Melanie says she was talking about his ex wife, "Who did you think I was talking about? Anyway, I heard rumors at Titan... Chloe is kind of a... b-word.

"You're right about that," says Brady, "A bimbo." He tells her Chloe is certainly one of the people he cares about.

Melanie jumps on it, "We're not talking about Chloe any more are we? You have it bad for someone, don't you?" Brady stares.

Will says Nicole has a bunch of ex-husbands. He bets EJ and Nicole's marriage won't last more than six weeks, "She's a total psycho." Will weaves the tale of Nicole's life.

Mia hitches when we get to the porn movie star part, "OMG! Go on. I need to know everything about Nicole – for my friend's sake."

EJ hangs up on Sami. Nicole grovels. She says she wants to marry him. She needs to know, "Are you gonna marry me tomorrow?"

Melanie thinks Brady is the only person in Salem who doesn't want to run over her with a truck.

A woman in the audience says, "That reminds me..." She runs out to warm up her diesel.

Melanie says she wants Brady to be happy, "You're a catch. This mystery woman... let me give you some advice..."

Mia pries. Will is reluctant to say more but he tells her Nicole tried to kill a guy. He tells her the whole story is online and she can get the details there. He gets a call from Lucas and leaves. Mia sits stunned and looks at the paper. She reads about Tony's service.

Stefano comes back and tells Nicole she's right, "This studly cable guy was Rafe Hernandez. We need a plan." EJ tells Stefano he wants to do this later. Stefano obliges and leaves.

Nicole and EJ get all cuddly. The doorbell interrupts. EJ calls for Harold. No Harold. He goes to the door and finds Sami. Hell hath no fury like a woman hung-up on.

Melanie says she usually bombs with guys because she tells them how she really feels. They both decide that freaks guys out. She advises, "If you care about this woman you have to tell her. Girls hate games. Maybe something good will come from it."

Sister Agnes greets Rafe and asks how it went with Sami. "Not so well," says Rafe, "She's so damn hardheaded... uh... sorry for the language. She's gonna tell this guy the truth and he'll be back in her life. I guess I should cut my losses. Maybe it's the right thing to do."

"What," says Sister Agnes, "Tell the truth. I never heard of such a ridiculous idea."

EJ says Sami can't come in, "Are you here to spy on me again? We all know what you did. Why did you feel compelled to violate my priv-acy?"

Sami backpedals, "You're talking crazy."

"No," says EJ, "I'm talking someone who is, though."

Nicole butts in, "Then why was Rafe here?" Sami plays dumb. It's not a stretch.

"You violated my life" says EJ, "Do you deny that?"

Sami thinks it over, "Let's see... violating a life... raping someone would fall into that category, wouldn't it?"

Mia goes back to reading about the wedding, "I will not let you keep my little girl, Nicole. Never."

Rafe decides he has to leave Salem. He has a ticket to fly out tomorrow. Sister Agnes hugs him, "I guess this is goodbye." Rafe asks a favor, "Check in on Sami and Grace, OK?"

Sister Agnes promises to do that, "If I can ever find them together."

Sami realizes she is busted. She says Rafe was there because he was checking on Johnny. EJ slams the door in her face. Sami huffs, "OK now I have to tell him the truth about Grace."

Inside, EJ says he owes Nicole an apology, "Losing Tony... my emotions have been all over the place." He says he realizes Nicole is loyal and says he was wrong to have doubted her. He realizes how much he loves her. He wants her in his life, "So if you will still have me..." He takes a knee, "I would like you to do me the honor of allowing me to be your husband for all the Days Of Our Lives."

Brady continues to wander. He huffs and stares, then leaves the church. The gripping excitement on this show never ends, does it?

It could be worse. Brady could be crying too. With Sami and Nicole, DOOL could easily be renamed “Tears of Our Lives” or “Tears R Us”.

Rafe thinks it over, "Wait-a-minute. Even if you hook up with EJ and we don't wind up together, you still want to control my life? I'll bet you'd be a joy to be married to."

Rafe spent three months with Sami in the witless protection program. If Rafe was really as smart as he thinks he is, he should have headed to New York and never looked back. Instead the viewers are “treated” to even more bickering.

So, she's not in love with EJ; She's not in love with Rafe; She's not in love with Lucas. She's in love with Sami.

Thank goodness that Prevuze is smarter than an ex-FBI guy. Prevuze is definitely much wiser for having watched Rafe and Sami for three months in the witless protection program.

"If Nicole wants to associate with Phillip Kiriakis and those ding-dong groupies of his, then she is a traitor."

What about EJ’s ho-ho groupie?

Nicole grovels. She says she wants to marry him. She needs to know, "Are you gonna marry me tomorrow?"

Has this woman no pride? Geez!

Stefano comes back and tells Nicole she's right, "This studly cable guy was Rafe Hernandez. We need a plan."

Stefano figured that out in about five minutes? The FBI must do a great job providing cover for their agents. Double geez!!

He realizes how much he loves her. He wants her in his life, "So if you will still have me..." He takes a knee, "I would like you to do me the honor of allowing me to be your husband for all the Days Of Our Lives."

Barf bags for all my friends!!

…so Chloe doesn’t speak Canadian – HAHAHAHA!!! I also loved the censored link, and to all my fellow Prevuzites, have a wonderful Easter!!!

Gag me! One day EJ doesn't trust Nicole as far as he can throw her, and the next he's on one knee begging for forgiveness. He didn't even let Sami explain fully what happened, he's reacting to something she's done again. That's what the whole Ejole relationship is based on, EJ reacting to Sami. Dumb EJ is back in the house and I don't like it.

Everyone had spit-worthy pictures today. Especially the Hotel California gag which actually did result in a messy keyboard. I just never seem to learn to keep the liquid AWAY from the mouth while reading Prevuze!

EJ says, "She is out as usual."

Without her precious baby. As usual. To give Nicole a little break, she IS supposed to be getting married and might actually have errands to run. Especially since she apparently didn’t start planning the wedding until the day before it was going to occur!

rant-back blitherslobbersnots

Nice ones. Been a while since we’ve been able to add to the Prevuze lexicon and here there are practically two in a row.

Brady asks, "Which one? "

My thoughts exactly. Why, in the world, would Brady want to get involved with Nicole? Other than the fact there aren’t any other females his age he isn’t related to, or has already been married to, on the show right now? Cheap-ass NBC.

OK, enough rant. Time to think peaceful (not piece-full) thoughts and get ready for the upcoming Easter weekend. Bless you Prevuze!

Oooh! I love a censored link. >:D

Sami must've used the magical Salem transporter - it's like she showed up on EJ's door the second he hung up on her. HAHAHAHA

And so much for Stefano's "plan". What was it, to confront Sami with the knowledge they know who the cable guy was the second she shows up?

I also don't get Sami saying now she absolutely has to tell EJ about Grace. Why did his slamming the door in her face prompt her to that decision?

AND, if Nicole's sordid past is all over the internet do the DiMeras know all of it? Like her porn past?

So many questions, so many Prevuisms. LOL over blitherslobbersnots. Yes, happy Easter and happy Friday to all! TGIP!

I was/am on spring break and did not want to seem addicted to Prevuze but DOOL drags me back in everytime. Yes, Leslie - hand those suckers out, I need an extra large one...looks like this sham wedding is going to make me sick.

And now Brady has undying love for Nicole - WTF? When did that happen?

I love the Tony Dimera Memorial Pallet! Will it be enshrined next to the Lucas Horton Memorial Beam and what's her names memorial rock?

Berg - At the same time that Rafe decided he was in love with Sami. Apparently criminal and irrational behavior has the same affect as an aphrodisiac on the men of Salem.

"She is out as usual."
What, you mean she didn't want stay in the house to receive the 'cold shoulder' and 'traitorous whore' treatment?

Will says he was too young to remember.
So Will is too young to remember Nicole being his stepmother, but the whole 'Austin/Lucas father fiasco' permanently damaged him??

- Sami was 'spying' on Nicole, she's the traitor! Lovely logic.

Mia pries. Will is reluctant to say more...
You basically told a stranger her sordid past. What's few more details.

Mia goes back to reading about the wedding, "I will not let you keep my little girl, Nicole. Never."
Apparently Mia does not believe in redemption.

EJ says Sami can't come in, "Are you here to spy on me again? We all know what you did. Why did you feel compelled to violate my priv-acy?"
So EJ, the rapis- the bargainer, is upset that Sami spied on him? Of all things they've done to one another it's the breach of privacy which nails it. Who knew privacy was that important?

Ok here we go folks...the appearance of dumber than dumb EJ! Ugggggggggg, this is sooooo frustrating! I hate this selective labotomy DOOL is constantly performing on EJ's brain. It seemed like he was just about to come out of it, and now he's back to being pathetic EJ again. "If you'll have me..." WTF? I give up! The man is really ESTUPIDO! Oh well, thanks Prevuze for the wonderful recap, all the picure donors for all the great pics, and I hope all you fellow Prevuzites have a blessed good Friday and a Happy Easter!

Remember the kid in the Christmas movie " A Christmas Story" with the character Ralphie Parker? Recall the kid that Ralph talked to when he was in line to see Santa? This kid was wearing an aviator hat and glasses and had this perpetual smile on his face while stating the fact that he " Liked the Wizard of Oz" and then he " Liked the tin man." THIS, friends, is who I think of when I see Chloe act in any scene on DOOL. That fake perpetual smile she forces on her face along with the deer in the headlights eyes all trying to act is just too much for the average nervous system to bear. I can see it now. Someone asks, " Chloe, how do you like being Mrs. Horton?" Chloe smiles and says, " I like the tin man."
And, who taught Will and Mia to act? Mia constantly acts like she's a stowaway on the set trying to hide from everyone. Make eye contact for once already. Will has this Simon Shama thing going on. He can't say his lines without shaking his head, no.
Auuuuughhhhhh!!!!!

Why does Brady love Nicole?

he was in love with her before Chloe came back from the dead.

After he married her, he must have realized how high maintance she is, turned to drugs and realized that his woman was the one he left behind.

I actually like Brady and Nicole. They are only people honest with one another, though that's probably because they aren't in an official relationship yet.

I'll probably hate them as much and Chloe and Dan once they get together... if they get that far.

EJ flips from jerk to idiot/wimp and back so quickly. It doesn't matter if he's with Nicole or Sami. He and whichever woman he ends up with will make each other miserable for as long as they can stand to stay together.

Stephano all sad and blue over Tony's death. He will avenge!!!! He's upset that nooone cares how he's grieving over his (actually the gardener's) son dying. Oh woe, pity woe. Wait....we flash to another part of town where we find Old Man Marino...Mayor Marino's father crying over his son's senseless death and how it still has not been made known who was behind it and why. That's what I'd like to see. Bring someone on just for one episode and have him meet Stefano at the dock or pub and the two can bawl over dead sons. Just as Stefano's new misery friend starts to leave, the mystery is unveiled to him that he's been talking to the father of the man he had murdered.

To the poster above me, Tony IS Stefano's son.

The gardner just knocked up Tony's momma.

To imply that Stefano shouldn't care because Tony doesn't share is DNA is awful.

Nicole, Nicole, Nicole. You're getting as desperate with EJ as you did with Brady.

If EJ refused to marry you and went to the church with Sami would you put on a wedding dress and stand in front of the church again?

Stefano: " You're no son of mine. Your dead to me." That sounds like he gave up parental rights before Tony died.
I'm not downplaying his grief. I'm just saying how he should realize all the familys of the people he's had murdered and he's still walking around scott free.
