Remind Me Never To Trim Those Trees

Frankie brings Jennifer coffee. She can't believe Abby walked in on them, but they had a good talk afterwards. She doesn't know why she didn't talk to her before this. Jennifer feels guilty. Frankie asks if she has changed her mind about them. She doesn't know.

Abby broods at the Java Café. Josh brings her a huge high calorie cappuccino to make her feel better. He missed her.

The brat pulls a bottle out of her purse. Max asks what's up.

Bo and Billie go hot and heavy. He sees Hope when he looks at her, though. "I can't do this," says Billie. She snaps him out of it, "Bo, it's Billie. It's not Hope." Oh, the shame!

Patrick and Hope make their grand entrance at the Casino Royale. Hope is ready to try her luck.

Billie says, "I can't do this with you drunk pretending it's Hope.

"That's odd," says Bo, "You didn't mind it when I was gassed in the pit pretending it was Hope."

"I want to be here for you, Bo, but not in this way," says Billie, "This isn't what either of us needs right now and I know I am not the one you want."

"You have been my only friend," says Bo, "I've been self-destructing. I forced myself on you. If anyone's to blame, it's me."

Patrick is on a roll at the tables. He suggests Hope try Baccarat. She sits down... Time passes and voila... she's got a pile. "You are on fire," says Patrick. Hope decides to quit while she is ahead. Patrick has reserved a table on the terrace. They cash in and leave.

Out on the terrace... Hope thinks the view is incredible. Patrick orders a bottle of their finest champagne and the tasting menu, "It's the only tasteful thing you can get on DOOL." Small talk. They decide to dance. Hope looks up and sees Bo. Patrick asks if she is all right.

"Yeah, I feel like I am finally moving on," says Hope, "You have been a true friend."

Likewise. He says, "This is good for both of us."

They go back to their table. Patrick toasts Hope. Clink. Hope says she is seeing a new dashing, debonair side of him.

"Sometimes that side is real," says Patrick, "Sometimes it's not. You know about my former life. Bo was right. I got pretty good at pretending to be someone I wasn't. You helped me strip away the façade to expose the veneer. Are you sure you don't want to give Bo another chance?"

The brat hides the booze. Max was worried about her. He gives her the third degree. She evades his questions. She is just there to relax. She goes inside and sees Abby sitting alone. She sits with her. Abby apologizes and tells her about Jennifer and Frankie. The brat says, "Let's face it Abs, people jump from relationship to relationship." She spikes the coffee and takes a drink.

Abby can't believe it about Bo and Hope. "It's gonna happen no matter what," says the brat.

Abby goes for another iced coffee. Max comes up. He overheard. Max thinks Hope may be able to change her mind.

"She could but she won't," says the brat, "My dad is hooking up with Billie."

Max asks, "What aren't you telling me?"

Jennifer sits alone. Frankie comes out and says he hates seeing her so upset.

"The thought of Abby seeing us like that gets to me."

Frankie says, "I know your heart still belongs to Jack but you have no reason to feel guilty."

"I know," says Jennifer, "But this is so hard for me."

"If I pushed you I'm sorry."

"I don't know if I am ready," says Jennifer, "I can't do this to you any more. It's just not gonna work out for us."

Patrick presses. Hope wishes she could give Bo another chance, but won't. He has let her down in so many ways. But it was seeing him sleeping with Billie that tells her he has moved on.

"I guess you need to move on, then." He suggests dessert. Later. "Good," says Patrick, "Because I am in the mood for a walk on the beach with a beautiful lady." They stroll off.

Hope thinks it's a wonderful night. Patrick suggests another dance on the beach, "The more I get to know you the more I realize how special you are. Bo is a fool to lose you. If you were with me, I'd never let you go."

Bo tells Billie he took advantage. She says she did. Bo says, "It was a good thing you showed up. I could have killed myself. You've been a good friend."

"I want you to be happy," says Billie, "I care about you. You love Hope. You can't give up."

"I never thought I would," says Bo, "But this time is different. It's a pretty strong message. There's something I gotta tell you... you've really been there for me these last few months through some pretty terrible stuff and it kind of takes me back. I needed you and wanted you to be there for me. Billie, there's a part of me that wants you."

Billie says, "I think I know which part."

Josh asks Abby what she wants to do when he gets off. He suggests the dreaded Lookout Point. Abby chickens out. She thinks it would be better if they would just stay there.

Josh asks, "Are you afraid of being alone with me?"

Max keeps it up, "There is something you are not telling me." The brat remembers telling Frankie about the emails. Max presses. She gets defensive. "Why even hang out with me," she yells, "I don't need you. Goodbye! She goes over and hits on a couple guys at a table, "Hey, is this where the party's at?"

One of the guys invites her to have a seat.

Max wonders...

Frankie says he thinks he and Jennifer are great together.

"I can't make a commitment to you," whines Jennifer, "You deserve better than me."

"I would wait forever for you," says Frankie, "You are worth it. I love you. I loved you 20 years ago and I love you today." Flashback to Frankie leaving for Columbia. "It was the biggest mistake of my life."

"You wouldn't have been crazy not to accept that scholarship," says Jennifer.

"What I should have done is stay with you," says Frankie.

"Then you would only think about the things you missed," says Jennifer.

"You are the one I missed."

"We can't change the past."

"Why," asks Frankie, "The DOOL writers do that all the time."

Jennifer says, "The love Jack and I shared with our family was all that mattered to me. Even though I have lost him, the children are the most important things in my life."

"That's why I love you so much," says Frankie, "We can't change the past but why can't we change the future?" Deep.

Patrick and Hope dance as another couple gets busy on the beach. Patrick thought the beach would be deserted. Hope asks if he has been there with Alma. Of course.

She wishes on a star, but it has already come true. Patrick says, "I should get you back to the casino. The beach could be dangerous."

"What are you talking about," says Hope, "We are the only ones here now."

"That's why it is dangerous," says Patrick, "I am attracted to you. I have wanted you since the first time I saw you."

"I guess Bo was right," says Hope.

"That's why he got crazy whenever I was near you," says Patrick, "Could you see it?"

"No," says Hope, "I really didn't."

"I tried like hell to keep my feelings in," says Patrick, "But now that you think your marriage is over, you can see why I shouldn't be alone with you. I don't' know if I can be trusted."

Pan to Billie and Bo. She is stunned. Bo says, "I always cared about you Billie. More than as a friend. When Hope and I were together I would never act on those feelings. Now she wants a divorce. I care about you. Years ago I loved you."

"That was when you thought Hope was dead."

"And I wanted to move on with you," He says.

"I wanted that too," says Billie, "There is still a part of me that wishes we could be together."

"Maybe we can still have that," says Bo.

The brat schmoozes with the guys. Abby tells Max she will fix this. She goes over and asks to talk to the brat. When she gets her off to the side, she asks, "Do you even know those guys."

"Yeah," says the slut wannabe, "One is AJ and they call the other guy Cobra. Why are you so uptight? Your mom hooked up with Frankie when she was younger than you. Do you think they just held hands? I wish you weren't such a prude. Go find Josh and get busy."

She finds Josh and asks him to dance. He goes to turn on music. The brat dirty-dances with AJ or Cobra or whoever. Max comes up and attacks him. The brat asks what he is doing.

"He had his hands all over you," yells Max.

"That's called dancing," she says.

"Oh, is that what they call it," he asks. He sees the bottle, "This is pathetic. Do you want your face plastered all over the tabloids? You have a death wish!"

Frankie says, "Being with you and JJ and Abby makes me happy."

"Thank you for caring so much about All My Children," says Jennifer, "You are a good man. You have had a great life."

Frankie says, "If I had to do it all over I would stay here with you. When I fell in love with my first girlfriend I had no idea it would last all the Days Of Our Lives." Kiss.

"I love you," says Jennifer, "I do love you. I want a future with you."

"I think we need to take it slow," says Frankie.

Jennifer goes bipolar, "No I don't want to take it slow. I want you to make love to me."

"I'll never get enough of you," says Frankie.

He starts to take her upstairs. "No," says Jennifer, "I want you right now." They heat up like a backyard barbeque.

The brat rakes Max over the coals and stomps over to the boys' table.

Max wonders, "Why do I even care? Whatever happens to her isn't my problem any more."

Josh comes on to Abby. It's just an epidemic.

Frank and Jen romp. Jennifer says, "My goodness I wonder what the neighbors are thinking.

"That I'm a lucky guy."

"Remind me never to trim those trees," says Jennifer.

"I'm serious," says Frankie, "You are as beautiful as when I first laid eyes on you."

"Yeah, well, Back then we never did anything like this," says Jennifer.

"Well then," says Frankie, "We'd better be making up for lost time."

The hotel attendant says, "Mr. Garcia, the guests you are expecting just arrived at the airport."

"Ah yes," says Mr. Garcia, "Mr. And Mrs. Alex North. They are very important guests... see that everything is ready for them.

"I don't want to go back to the casino," says Hope, "I want to stay here with you."

"Even after what I told you," asks Patrick.

Hope says, "I have felt so close to you. I want us to get closer. You've been honest with me, so it's time for me to be honest with you. You're not the only one who feels an attraction."

"I'm not sure I can control myself," says Patrick.

"Then don't."

"If you insist."

Bo says, "I gotta stop fooling myself. Hope and I are history. It means a lot to me you have been there for me the last couple of months. I'm not being fair to you. You know how I feel about Hope."

"You loved Hope before," says Billie.

"And like then... I had to move on with my life," says Bo, "I want to face life and do it with you." Hot kiss.

Bo and Billie.

Patrick and Hope.

Bo and Billie.

Patrick and Hope. FF.

"We can't change the past. But we can change the future." Deep? Yes, but I won't say deep in what. HAHA

So Jen doesn't want Frankie to take it slow? Just 30 minutes ago she was whining that she couldn't commit to him!
