Not That Kind Of Girl

Billie and Patrick get some fresh air at the scene of the Spring Dance. Chelsea still can’t believe that slut is messing with her man. She says, “It’s a good thing I was here,” referring to when she stopped them from kissing by messing up the sound system. Patrick hears Abby and Chelsea making a commotion.

Mimi tells Rex she was surprised by the engagement dinner he put together for her. It was a wonderful evening. He hopes she feels better about their future. Something is wrong though. She flashes aback to Stan telling her she has sinned against God. Mimi tells him it’s hard to be happy about anything right now with Phillip being held captive. Plus, she is creeped out by that guy who has been harassing her. Rex tries to reassure her.

Belle wants Shawn to promise he will not go try to rescue Phillip. Hope jumps into it. Bo defends Shawn. Shawn says he and Rex are just trying to get information off the Internet.

Abby tells Chelsea if Patrick sees them she will be grounded for life. A cat makes some racket and Billie tells Patrick to cool it, “It was just a little kitty.” Billie and Patrick will be going to the Spring Dance together. Billie confesses she never went to a dance in high school. She dropped out. She got her GED, though. Patrick tells her they could not pay him to relive the high school experience. He tells her he’s looking more forward to the part after the dance. Checking out the view at lookout point. She protests, “I am not that kind of girl.” They walk off.

Abby tells Chelsea, “They’re totally hooking up. I don’t care who Patrick is with as long as it’s not my mom.” The girls follow.

Hope forbids Shawn to get involved in Phillip’s rescue. Bo says if Shawn can work with Rex and get info off the Internet, that would be OK. Belle chimes in. She can’t stand losing Shawn as well as Phillip. Shawn says he won’t get involved. Rex and Mimi come in.

Mimi tells Belle she is sorry the mission to rescue Phillip failed. She tells her about their little dinner up on the roof. Hope is excited that Rex and Mimi are engaged. This is a big deal to her, “It’s the most important commitment you will ever make.”

Belle agrees. The engagement is a big deal, “We should do something to celebrate.”

Mimi tries to downplay things, “With everything else going on...”

They all decide to throw Rex and Mimi a party. Mimi doesn’t want to celebrate with Phillip captive. Rex talks her into it.

Shawn thanks Bo for the talk. He plans on taking his advice. They hug. Bo says, “And no more talk about trying to rescue Phillip, OK?” Shawn promises he won’t do anything crazy. Of course the thing to keep in mind is Shawn’s standards are different from normal people.

Billie is avoiding going back to Bo and Hope’s place. The last thing she wants is another confrontation with Hope. She doesn’t want Patrick to think that’s the only reason she’s hanging out with him, though. She suggests going to Alice’s. They just happen to be right there, so they go in. Chelsea wants to follow them inside. Abby protests, they are under age. Chelsea tells her, “Get with the program.”

Bonnie greets the lovely couple as they come inside. Billie goes to the powder room. Bonnie asks, “What the hell are you doing with an ISA agent? She finds out what you’ve been up to you could do the next twenty years in the slammer.” Heck, Chelsea can do that to him without Billie’s help.

Rex can’t believe John’s plan failed. Belle just wants them to find Phillip and bring him home. Rex gets back on the website looking for news. “No new information,” he says. He logs off. The transparent Shawn wants to know why Rex can’t just stay logged on. Rex says he breached a firewall. If he stays on too long they could track him. He’s going over to see Bonnie. Mimi is going with him. They invite Belle and Shawn. Belle isn’t sure, but Shawn assures her Phillip will be OK.

Chelsea and Abby enter the bar.

Patrick tells Bonnie Billie knows all about his past. Bonnie thinks Patrick is up to something. He tells her not to freak out. He’s not interested in Jennifer. She hopes he’s not interested in Billie. Bonnie wants him to go for a Horton, “What does Billie have to offer?” Then Bonnie remembers Kate is Billie’s mother, “Oh, OK if you can’t snag a Horton, Billie will do. I’m 100% behind it.”

Billie comes up and asks, “Did I hear someone mention my name?”

Hope and Bo walk through the scene of the dance. They make a date to go. She tells him she appreciates him talking to Shawn, “It’s like we have the old Shawn back,” the one with his entire brain. Hope is happy for Mimi and Rex. Bo thinks she Mimi turned her life around. “Just like Billie,” says Hope, “Of course Billie couldn’t have done it without you.”

Bo asks why Hope brought up Billie, “Do you want to get into another fight tonight?”

No, Hope doesn’t want to fight. She’s sorry she brought Billie up. They walk on. “What the heck is that,” asks Bo, “I don’t believe it, come on.”

Bonnie says she was talking about Billie’s missing daughter. It’s the worst thing that could happen.

Mimi, Rex, Belle and Shawn come in. “Oh no,” says Abby, “This is not good.”

Bo and Hope are inside a boat. Hope doesn’t think they should be there. “She is for sale,” says Bo, “This is just like the Fancy Face. It’s like taking a step back in time.” Flash back to the Fancy Face, and Bo and Hope sailing her off into the sunset.

Hope remembers, “and that’s just what we did.” Sailin’ scenes. Kissin’ scenes.

“Those were simpler times back then,” says Bo.

Hope says, “Yeah, they sure were. Why don’t we buy this boat? I miss the Fancy Face. I would love to have that life back again.”

The group wonders what Patrick is doing with Billie Reed.

Bonnie greets them. Abby thinks that was too close. She wants to get out of there.

The ever-sensitive Bonnie says she was sorry to hear the mission to rescue Phillip failed, “Now they will probably never find him.”

Rex asks for his paycheck. Bonnie wants to throw an engagement party at Alice’s for Mimi. She points out, “Phillip’s not dead. At least not yet.”

“Mo-THER,” says Mimi.

Belle and Shawn go up to Billie’s table. Shawn wants to know why she’s there with Patrick. He doesn’t rally care, “As long as you stay the hell away from my father.”

Bo tells Hope he had the same thought. Reality sinks in. They have to put Zack through college. “It was just a thought,” says Hope.

Bo says, “We don’t need no stinking boat to remind us how much we love each other. The fact Billie and I have a child together isn’t something I can run away from, but nothing is more important than you and the boys.”

Hope knows that. He kisses her in case she needs a little more convincing.

Mimi insists she doesn’t want a party. Abby and Chelsea soak it all in. Abby says Shawn is hot and so is Rex. Chelsea isn’t interested. Chelsea notices Billie just ordered cranberry juice. Abby tells her what happened at the Cheatin' Heart, “If Billie does that again she could lose her job and go to jail.”

“Really...” says Chelsea.

Billie tells Shawn all she wants to do is find Georgia. “With my father,” says Shawn.

“You’re one to talk,” says Billie, “Belle is married to Phillip.”

“That’s none of your damn business.” Shawn goes to grab a table.

Billie tells Belle Phillip doesn’t deserve this. Belle knows. She walks off.

Rex asks if Shawn is OK. “Yeah, I just had a little run in with Billie.” Taking a sudden interest in the technical side of things, Shawn asks Rex how he broke into the website.

“Actually,” says Rex, “it was easy.”

Belle and Mimi talk. Mimi is positive Jan told someone else about the abortion. She tells Belle about Stan. Belle thinks it’s sick.

Chelsea is surprised Billie, “doesn’t just do him right there on the table.”

Billie tells Patrick they came there to relax and have fun. He asks her to dance. “That does it,” says Chelsea, “I have to put an end to this.”

Bo and Hope kiss. He starts to take his Jacket off. Hope thinks this isn’t a good place. Bo thinks this is the perfect place.

Billie and Patrick slow dance. Filler.

Abby asks how Chelsea will put an end to this. “Just watch.” She spikes Billie’s drink.

Bonnie comes up to the pair and asks, “What the heck are you two doing?”

Shawn pumps Rex about the website. He’s happy for Rex and Mimi.

Mimi has been petrified the evil guy would tell Rex. Belle says “You’ve gotta tell him.” Mimi insists she has tried but she doesn’t want to lose him, just like Belle can’t tell Phillip about her and Shawn. Right now Belle just wants to have Phillip come home, “I just thank God Shawn gave up that crazy idea to go over there and rescue Phillip himself.”

With what's left of his brain, Shawn thinks, “And now that I’ve got what I need I can find Phillip and bring him home. And Belle and I can finally be together.” FF on the genius.

I also liked Billie pointing out Jr's hypocrisy when he snarked at her about seeing his father.

I had the same thought about the boat purchase. But you know, they could actually be going to work. It's just that it's been the same night for about 5 weeks now (and only three-four days have passed since New Year's Eve) so they could still be on New Years Holiday leave. HAHAHAHAHA
