Groundhog Day

Hey, troops, it's Groundhog Day. Need I even point out the similarities:

Groundhog Day: A contemporary movie starring Bill Murray in which the main character experienced the same things over and over again.

DOOL: A contemporary soap opera starring an ensemble cast in which the main characters experience the same things over and over again.

And, in that vein...

So happy Groundhog Day. We'll see you with a new posting on Monday, if we don't keep repeating today over and over...

At least we have Prevuze making the constant script recycling bearable.

You have our undying gratitude.

You have our undying gratitude.

You have our undying....

Oh, sorry about that. I got caught up in a strange loop there for a second. I'm OK now.

Is anyone else getting a little ticked about the way the "new" writers are killing off SL's without even giving them a chance to say goodbye or a decent burial?

Chelsea going to Victor, who barely acknowledged her existence before, and now "JUST LIKE THAT" the Ford Decker thing is all over.

And Colleen's year long saga is going to be all wrapped up in a WEEK???

Thanks, DOOL. Okay, it's not like we want these SL's to drag on any longer than they have been, but I for one sort of feel a little cheated.

Speaking of Colleen, Shirley Jones has her Irish accent down perfect.
Much much better than that Lucky Charms Leprechaun thing Sami had going on.

Saturday blog today friends!

So now we know - Daze is playing Groundhog Day over and over which was a movie about the same day over and over. Talk about saving trees with recycled scripts!

Enjoyed Bo as Jack. And I think I need to watch Prevuze II for the umpteenth time for a good laugh. HAHAHA

Happy Saturday!

Dear Abby,

Please don't go yet!!! We need you, desperately. We are a group of television viewers who are hooked on a soap opera. I won't name names to protect the innocent. Besides, you'd think WE were insane if we told you which soap it is.

The only thing that keeps most of us on an even keel are a couple of internet blogs that provide creative and therapeutic places to rant about the soap.

Would you suggest trying to go cold turkey and break our soap habit, or continue to suffer through the show?

I'm afraid if the two bloggers ever stop posting there will be massive bouts of depression among our group. Many may be forced to run amok.

Sincerely, Dazed & Soapy
