Riot In Cell Block 11

Dr. Parsons has to deliver a report. Nick will watch the lab. Parsons says, "The cops are anxious to get the results of the tests on that hairbrush, but there are a lot of things taking precedence over it." He leaves.

Abby meets Nick. She tells him Maggie was yelling at her last night because Max surprised her in her hotel room. Nick is distant. He says he has things on his mind – also due to Max and the conversation he had with him. He says he may have just made the biggest mistake of his life. He tells Abby about his hairbrush caper.

The brat sets boxes down in front of Bo and Hope's house. There is a "Welcome home Chelsea" sign on the door. Billie comes up and says she doesn't want Chelsea moving in with them. She's too fond of Bo and Hope to let anything like that happen to them.

Steve sits at his table in the loony bin. Dr. Kraft sits across from him. Steve picks at his food, "Have you ever tasted this stuff?"

"Yeeeessss..."

Steve thinks she's not telling the truth, "I wonder what this mystery meat is. I know it's organic because there is a hair in it." Kraft tells him to be serious and finish his meal. He offers her a bite. She refuses. Patch turns around and calls the gang to order. He asks if anyone has anything to say about the food. They take turns dissing the cuisine.

Old Crusty says, "I divorced my wife because she couldn't cook. Now I write her love letters!"

RIOT IN CELL BLOCK 11!

Belle leaves Claire in the sink and comes out of the bathroom to find Shawn and Gabby talking about the trip to Australia. Gabby tells Belle they could get off the island faster if she goes with them. Belle says she wants to talk to Shawn. Translation: Put on your armor, Shawn. "I haven't given an answer," says Brainiac.

"You were about to," snorts Belle.

Gabby leaves and reiterates it wouldn't be a sacrifice for her to help with Claire.

Shawn and Belle argue about taking Gabby. "What's wrong with you," asks Shawn.

"Funny," says Belle, "I was just about to ask you the same question."

Shawn and Belle argue about what's wrong with each other. It's a very long argument.. She doesn't know what Shawn wants anymore. First he tells her not to get a job. Now he's saying get a job and let Gabby raise the kid. Shawn says all he was talking about was having Gabby do some babysitting.

Patch holds up his tray, "FRESH GARBAGE, EVERYONE! We know we're the bottom-feeders of society, but they are taking it too literally. We have to stand up and say enough is enough!"

Dr. Kraft stops him. He lists her many sins at the hospital, "You treat us like unwanted pets!"

Dr. Kraft says, "Mr. Johnson, if you want to file a complaint, you have to follow proper protocol..."

SLAM! A tray full of slop hits the wall right next to Dr. Kraft.

Mighty Joe Young grabs the patient who threw it, hauls him outside, fastens him to the rack and gives it a few twists.

"Righteous indignation," says Patch, "I think it's a beautiful thing!"

Billie wonders, "What about our family? Things won't be the same."

The brat says, "It will never be the same after everything... Why are you being so selfish? Must be where I get it from, right?"

Billie says she stood by her when nobody else would. Chelsea is all she has. The brat says none of this would be happening if Billie hadn't slept with Nick.

PrevuzeNick tells Abby about his conversation with Max. After they talked, Nick stole the brush. If they find out about it, his career is over. Abby tells him just to put the brush back. Nick says if he does, Bo and Hope will blame Chelsea for the fire, so he can't do that. Abby says, "You can protect the integrity of the lab, or you can protect Chelsea. You have to make a choice right now before it's too late."

The kiddies bicker. Belle says she has been hiding something from him, "I didn't tell you because I didn't want to seem paranoid. Any more than usual, anyway. When we were in Gabby's room looking for a place to hide from Phillip, I opened a door and found out Gabby has toys in her closet."

"So what," says Shawn, "You have toys in the attic. Maybe she has a kid she isn't telling us about." Belle thinks it would be strange if Gabby didn't tell them about having a child.

Meanwhile, back at the nuthouse, all the food fight is missing is John Belushi. Dr. Kraft says she is disappointed in Steve. He says he's disappointed in her, "What is this, Romper Room?"

Dr. Kraft tries to get control, "People! Come on! Calm down!" She tells Steve inciting the patients could have been dangerous. Steve tells her the problem is more than a bad lunch. He reels off a list of problems, "And on top of everything else, you took my harmonica!" That does it. Close the place down. "You need to give the inmates something to live for, starting with food that doesn't look like it was scraped off the floor of a monkey cage!" Steve runs around the room doing his best monkey imitation – it's not a stretch – as the patients cheer.

The brat says she just needs some space right now, "Your relationship with me is kind of like Grandma Kate's relationship with you. Oh, waitaminute, grandma Kate never slept with one of your boyfriends did she?"

"Not many of them," says Billie.

"Just curious," says the brat, "Did you ever sleep with one of hers?"

"Not many of them," says Billie, But if you can manage to forgive Nick, then why can't you forgive your own mother?"

"Who says I forgive Nick?"

Abby tells Nick he's made her an accessory to stealing the brush just by telling her about it. She thinks Nick is falling into a bad habit of lying like Chelsea does. He tells her about the brat moving in with Bo and Hope, and also that he and Chelsea are back together. Abby didn't realize that. Now that they are back together, Nick doesn't want to screw it up.

Mighty Joe Young brings the gnarled body of the patient back from the rack, "Calm down, you wing nuts!" Dr. Kraft tells him to back off – things are under control. Patch keeps it up. He accuses MJY of being oppressive.

"He's just doing his job," says Dr. Kraft.

"So was Goebbels," says Patch, "You know, I was an orderly in a hospice. People were dying there, but they were less depressed than these guys." Kraft thinks Patch is being a bully, just like Mighty Joe Young. He asks where he goes to file a formal complaint. She will bring him the paper work, but he has to get off Mighty Joe's case. She gets a call and leaves.

Shawn thinks they should just ask Gabby about the toys. Belle wonders what happens when she doesn't tell them the truth. Shawn says they will be careful and not take Gabby, "But if Phillip comes back don't blame me if we lose our..."

"What," gasps Belle, "Our daughter?"

"No," says Shawn, "Our frequent guest points here at the hotel."

Patch sees Dr. Kraft has left her computer on a table. He sits down, checks it out and grins, "WiFi! We're in business! He calls Retardo over and asks if he would like to have real food – pizza. Of course he would. "OK," says Patch, "Then I need you to distract Mighty Joe." Retardo goes over and says something to Joe, who takes him out of the room. Patch laughs and announces he is ordering pizza. The room fills with cheers and Patch hits the Internet, "Deep dish! Thin crust! Wood fired!" He orders six pizzas. Oops. He needs a credit card. No one there has one. "No problem," says Patch, "We'll order them COD."

Shawn didn't mean to come down on Belle. He wants to get them out of there. Belle wants that too, "Forget I said anything, OK? I don't understand why we keep fighting"

"It's natural for children to fight," says Shawn, "I trust Gabby and you don't so I'll leave it up to you. It's your call, Belle."

Abby says Chelsea won't stop having feelings for him if he gives the brush back. Nick thinks she will. Abby says she's using him again. "You're her moral compass. Don't go pointing in the wrong direction. If Chelsea would just tell her dad the truth then... OHMYGOSH! You don't think she's innocent, do you?"

Chelsea says Nick is none of Billie's business. "Vengeance makes the hurt worse," says Billie, "Especially when I'm the one you're taking it out on." Billie says she misses her. Chelsea takes a play from Lucas' book and disowns her, "I relieve you of all motherly duties." She knows she has made bad decisions, but she thinks Billie isn't a good influence. She's trying to grow up but Billie keeps making the same mistakes over and over. Chelsea thinks it's better for her to be with Bo and Hope. Billie tells her she loves her and always will. Chelsea says, "From now on you're just Billie to me, OK? You and I will never be mother and daughter again."

Prevuze

Patch riles the troops, "We need some amenities around here... TV, music, Soap Opera Digest! We need singing and dancing! We need Stevie Ray Vaughn! We need Liberace!" He sings beautiful dreamer and dances with a patient. The crowd sings along.

Mighty Joe Young returns, "HEY! This isn't Soul Train! Cut out the crap! He gets in Steve's face, "I think it's time for you to go back to your room."

Steve says, "I think I'm doing just fine right here." MJY stands his ground.

Belle wants Shawn to take her seriously. "Haven't you ever heard of Mother's instinct?"

"Haven't you ever heard of Father's instinct?"

Claire sits alone in the bathroom and wishes someone would have enough instinct to come and get her.

"There's only one instinct you're listening to," snorts Belle, "You don't know Gabby, but you trust her, because she's a beautiful woman flirting with you. This is about putting Claire first. Maybe I'm jealous, but I'm not gonna jump into bed with you to keep you from someone else."

"I didn't ask you to."

"No," says Belle, "That's what Gabby is for, right?"

Shawn insists he doesn't want to sleep with Gabby. Belle begs to differ, "You just invited her to move in!"

"No," says Shawn, "I invited her to Australia. In fact, she invited herself. Do you think she wants me?"

"Does a one-legged duck swim in circles," asks Belle, "You gave up your whole life for your daughter. You're strong, brave and probably her dream come true."

"She's not mine," says Shawn, "I'm looking at mine. Dream... nightmare... sometimes it's hard to tell the difference."

Belle softens. Shawn says when they get to Australia Gabby has to fend for herself. He promises.

Mighty Joe Young says he is not asking, he is telling Patch to go back to his room. Patch says he's just there having fun with his friends. Mighty Joe Young grabs him. Patch says, "Don't you handle me! You don't know who you're messing with!"

Mighty Joe Young gives him an ultimatum, "What's it gonna be, Deal or no deal?"

Howie Mandel sticks his head in the room, "Hey! That's my line!"

Shawn says he won't tell Gabby about their conversation. Belle decides Gabby can come with them. Hugs.

Mighty Joe Young taps his nightstick. Patch says, "I gotta follow my heart. So swing your bat." MJY starts to take a swing...

An attendant comes into the room carrying a load of pizza and says, "HEY! Sal's pizza just delivered these and they want their money."

Nick wonders why Willow would break in when Bo and Hope are paying her expenses. It doesn't make sense, "Unless Chelsea's not telling the truth." Nick starts to leave, turns and apologizes for never talking about Abby's problem with Aunt Maggie. Abby tells him to put the brush back.

Right on cue, Chelsea comes up and plants a big kiss on Nick. Dr. Parsons walks up and soaks it in, "Well, I wondered what was keeping you. Listen, I can't find that hairbrush the cops want tested. Have you seen it?"

FF brat.

========

Shawn asks, "Gabby, you did send that letter, didn't you?" Belle looks on.

Chelsea says to Nick, "Look at me. Do you believe I am the person who set fire to my dad's house?"

Patch blocks Mighty Joe Young's swing, "You need a quicker bat, slugger."

Max says, "I think..." Abby interrupts, "I don't care what you think, Max, or anybody else. But you know what I do think? Mr. Max Brady, I think that you're one big jerk."

Yeah, I enjoyed being reminded of John and his pornmobile. Pretty sad when that story-line can be said to be the "good old days". HAHA

Also got a good laugh out of Patch's mystery meat with hair in it. Reminded me of a dish the school cafeteria used to serve. SHUDDER

Since this is all nonsence anyway, I have a suggestion for Nick. If you are going to be underhanded for Chelsea, do it so YOU don't get caught. Get another hairbrush and switch it with Chelsea's. (The lab guy hadn't paid that much attention to the one in the evidence bag.) Once the tests have been run on it, switch them again so the SPD gets the original brush back.

This is an extremely important question. We will discuss it in depth in a special edition of Prevuze this Saturday.

Is there a blog or site that does this sort of thing for Passions? I would love to see some commentary on that show. It would be hiliarious.

We've been asked that question before and have looked, but so far have not been able to find one. I guess Prevuze is one-of-a-kind.

It's sad. On my way home from work last night, I saw a CNN satellite truck parked along the street and the first thing I thought of was John Black's pornmobile. That's when you know that you need to skip a couple days of watching days. I think I'll do that tomorrow. Looks like it's "boring story line" day on Days.
