Pop Quiz

If an infinite number of monkeys sat at an infinite number of keyboards and typed for an infinite amount of time...

Would it be this bad?

Rex tells Shawn before they go, they need a plan and money to finance their wild and crazy scheme. Shawn tells him they will get the money from Brady Black.

Chloe realizes the voice audio isn’t working. She starts singing. You’re the wind blowing through me...” Brady realizes this isn’t a recording, so does Nancy. Nancy thanks God for this little miracle. Brady asks Nancy about the voice. Nancy says, “Chloe is here. She’s alive. She’s with us.”

Hope comes down to the banished Bo asleep on the couch. She flashes back to the argument. She runs into the kitchen and kicks up a pot and pan symphony. Bo stumbles in to see what’s going on.

“Oh,” says Hope, “You’re awake.”

“I am now,” mumbles Bo.

He staggers, “Look, Fancy Face, it’s a new day. Can we have a new beginning?”

“It’s up to you,” says Hope

Billie walks into the living room and hears the argument. She smirks.

Jennifer gets coffee. Patrick comes in sporting scratches on his back. Jennifer notices, “What happened to your back?”

Tec thinks Mimi would be the person most likely to know who hurt Miss Spears. Mimi flashes back to the fight. Jan dies yet again.

Belle asks why Tec thinks Mimi would know anything.

“Well,” says Tec, “I understand they were roommates of sorts.” Tec pulls out the fingernail. “Hey,” mumbles Belle through the foot in her mouth, “That looks like your fingernail, Mimi.”

Chloe sings. Brady questions. Nancy says, “Brady, she’s alive. That voice is Chloe’s. She’s here with us.”

“Chloe is here is spirit. Nothing more,” says Brady.

“No,” says Nancy, “She’s here.”

Chloe wanders. Chloe sings. Apparently she doesn’t need a microphone. Nicole comes out into the hall. She fiddles with the stereo. “Oh, I see what’s wrong, the voice and balance are mixed up,” says the audiophile.

Brady insists Chloe is dead. He's here to say goodbye to the one true love of his life. Chloe haunts in the background.

Nancy wants to know where Nicole fits in if that is true.

Bo tells Hope he’s moved on. Hope asks, “Then why do you have so much of a problem with Billie moving on?”

Bo insists it’s Lockhart, “He could be the one person standing between me and my daughter.”

Hope says Billie needs to start building her own life. Hope wants to call Mickey and work something out with the Judge Shay so Billie can stay somewhere else. Hope is going for a run. Bo is on his own for breakfast. Naw, I'll bet he has company.

Billie comes in. Bumbling Bo drops the eggs. They stare into each other’s eyes as they pick them up.

Patrick says he didn’t realize he scratched his back. He flashes back to making love with Billie, “I must have scratched it working out. I was doing squats against the garage wall.” He asks about Abby. He tells Jennifer the girls were at Alice’s last night.

Jennifer is going to kill Abby. She thanks him for bringing her home. Patrick says Bonnie brought her back. Jennifer says Abby would never defy Jack, “What if she doesn’t grow out of this, I need Jack. This is so overwhelming sometimes.”

Patrick tells her, “you’re not alone, I’m here.”

Hope comes in. Patrick leaves. Hope soaks in the scratches on his back.

“OMG,” says Hope, “Did you see his back?”

“Yes,” says Jennifer, “He hurt it working out. It must have been a pretty hard work out.”

“Yeah,” says Hope, “So hard he and Billie broke the bed in our guest room.”

Shawn thinks Brady would finance the mission. He’s loaded. Rex tries to bring in a bit of reality, “This won’t work. It’s probably illegal.” Shawn won’t relent. The creeps are expecting military professionals, not a couple of bumbling amateurs. That’s why he knows they can pull this off. They will overwhelm them with incompetence.

Rex tells him, “Shawn we will never make it out of there without some serious equipment.” Better pick up a couple of body bags with that equipment.

Shawn snaps, “If you don’t want to help me, fine. Just give me the info I need. No one is going to stop me.”

Rex asks, “Not even Belle?”

Mimi says she took her fake nails off. She doesn’t wear those any more.

Candy-Striper Bonnie overhears, “So that little bitch Jan finally got what she deserved. That should make your day, Mimi.” Mimi scowls.

Bo and Billie stare. Billie breaks the tension. She will make breakfast. She cleans up. She says she should have known better than to bring Patrick back here.

Bo says Patrick sets off the alarms in him, “For all we know he could be the one keeping us from our daughter.”

Patrick is talking on the cell phone while he jogs, “I need to know when to expect delivery. Hello... Hello?”

Jennifer is shocked. She didn’t see this coming. Hope accuses her of being jealous. Jennifer denies it, “It’s just strange...”

“...Strange to share him with another woman,” asks Hope.

Chloe haunts in the background as Brady goes on about her. Nicole comes in and says the sound system is messed up, “Maybe we should donate one to the church in Chloe’s memory.”

The mystery is solved. The memorial begins.

Nancy says, “We are gathered here today to say goodbye to Chloe, a beautiful young woman whose outer beauty was a pale reflection of her inner beauty.” Chloe watches. Nancy drones on, “I can think of many reasons why we shouldn’t be here today, but I want to honor my daughter’s wishes.”

Nancy asks if Brady wants to say anything. He does, “Chloe you taught me what love is. If I live to be 100 I’ll never find that love again. You are truly my soul mate. Like my mom, you will always be with me. And no one will replace you in my heart. That is why today I want to do something really special for you.” He pulls out a ring. Nicole blanches. Brady asks the ashes, “Chloe Lane will you marry me?”

“Belle can’t know about this,” says Shawn. Rex insists they can’t keep it from her. Even if Shawn’s dad doesn’t do something, John will. Rex just can’t get involved with Shawn’s scheme.

“That’s a horrible thing to say, Mother,” says Mimi.

“It’s true,” says Bonnie, “It would be justifiable homicide if you attacked Jan.”

Mimi is livid, “That is horrible.”

Tec tells Mimi to stay put. He leaves.

Bonnie and Mimi chat. Mimi wants to know what Bonnie is doing in that get-up. Bonnie tells Mimi she volunteered to be a Candy-Striper to impress Mickey. Mimi broods. Bonnie notices Mimi really isn’t with it, “Earth to Mimi, Jan finally got what she had coming to her.”

Mimi whines, “Jan is lying there in a coma. Who knows what she will remember if she wakes up.”

The light bulb comes on in Bonnie’s head, “OMG, you’re the one who tried to kill Jan!” Bonnie should be on the police force. Maybe not. She figured it out too quick.

Brady always intended to give this ring to Chloe. It belonged to his mom. He was going to give it to Chloe on their wedding day, “I’ll just have to wait until I get to heaven to place it on her finger.” He starts to put the ring into the urn.

Nancy practically throws the urn across the room in order to stop him, “No you cant!”

Bo tells Billie she’s gotten to know the Lockhart Patrick wants her to know.

Billie defends Patrick, “I think Hope is right. This is really about you not being comfortable seeing me with another man. Any other man.”

Jennifer says it would be weird if Patrick wasn’t around because he’s seeing another woman, “It’s nice to have him around.” Jennifer admits she really likes him.

Hope wishes she could say Jack will come home to her, but he’s gone.

Jennifer knows that, but she hates it. Hope admits she was rooting for Patrick and Billie to get together because that would make Billie unavailable for Bo, but if Jennifer wants him, go for it. Hope has to go. She jogs out. Jennifer talks to Jack’s picture., “Jack, I love you so much and always will and as overwhelming as it seems I might have to move on. You have to show me as sign, Jack, to show me that you would understand.”

Shawn throws his bags together. He’s off for the big rescue. Rex wants to talk about it. Shawn has to do this. Belle is in agony. Aren’t we all? And, of course, lest we forget, SAY IT WITH ME, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, Belle can't be with Shawn until Phillip comes back. Shawn tells Rex, “You would do the same thing for Mimi.”

Rex says, “I would. Thank God Mimi would never get herself in a situation like that.” Yeahright. By the way, since Mimi has already “killed her baby,” if Jan dies, I wonder if Mimi qualifies as a serial killer. I mean, she could replace Marlena as the SSK du jour.

Mimi is busted. She comes clean with Bonnie.

Tec, however can’t figure it out. He asks if Bonnie, Belle or Mimi were near the crime scene. Bonnie and Belle say they were there. Mimi stammers. Bonnie says, “You were in the back room with me.” The nurse calls Tec. The admitting doctor is there now. Tec leaves. Belle goes in to see Jan.

Mimi tells Bonnie she is going to tell Tec the truth. Bonnie won’t have it, “Jan fell and hit her head. End of story.” Bonnie wishes Mimi would have come to her. Bonnie’s former boyfriend would have picked up the body. Jan wasn’t dead, but she would have been by the time the boyfriend go hold of her. Bonnie tells Mimi not to say anything. She leaves and gives Mimi jellybeans.

Belle comes up to Mimi “Why did you lie to Tec? You had those nails on last night. Is that nail they found yours?” Mimi stares and chews her jellybean.

Bo says he cares bout Billie and doesn’t want to see her get involved with someone who will break her heart. Billie says she isn’t interested in getting involved with anyone right now.

Bo tells her what Shawn is up to. Billie is shocked. Bo has to stay here and watch Shawn. If Billie gets another clue about Georgia, she’ll have to go alone. Billie slips on egg residue. She falls into Bo’s lap, landing in a position straight out of the Kama Sutra. OK, it’s pop-quiz time. Who do you suppose walks in the door at this awkward moment? “Let me guess,” says Hope, “another accident?” She storms out.

Patrick runs. His cell phone rings, “When can I expect delivery? I can’t stall that long. I need it to happen now.”

Jennifer looks at a picture of her and Patrick, “Could Hope be right? Is there anything between us? No those scratches said it all.”

Mimi tells Belle the nail was hers. She didn’t want to lie, “but Tec will just keep asking questions if I tell him the truth.” Belle says she has to tell Tec and also tell him Jan was blackmailing her. “I’ll lose my fiancée forever,” says Mimi.

Shawn sys Rex knows why he has to rescue Phillip. I could use your help man. They shake. “I’m in,” says the dupe.

Nancy says she has to help Brady put the ring inside the urn, “The urn is an antique and is very fragile.”

Brady says, “With this ring I thee wed. You will be with me all the Days Of Our Lives, Until we are reunited in heaven.” Nicole can’t take any more. She runs out. Nancy says that was beautiful. Especially the part where Nicole ran out.

Nicole runs down the corridor. Chloe comes down the other corridor. The corridors cross. Nicole and Chloe run into each other. Nicole. Chloe. FF.

Shawn says, “Let’s face it, we all had major issues with Jan. I guess we could all be suspects, couldn’t we?”

Nicole asks Brady, “Is it possible for the dead to come back to life?”

Marlena asks Roman, “Are you saying you want me to lie to my husband? Are you planning to lie to Kate?”

John sits at his computer. He says to Kate, “Roman and Marlena are alive. Look at this.”

If an infinite number of actors stood at an infinite number of microphones and spoke for an infinite amount of time...

Would they ever stop saying Belle can’t be with Shawn until Phillip gets back?

You know what I think it is? The writers keep having Shawn say "I can't be with Belle until Phillip is back" because Jason Cook is too drugged out to remember more than two or three lines at a time. Having the same dialoge day after day is what gets him through. HAHA

"Overwhelm them with incompetence"...LOLOLOLOL

Maybe he just thinks he's above having to do a lot of memorization. He can't help it. He was born with a silver roach clip in his mouth. Oops, sorry, that was cruel. But you started it.

Well, then everyone else must be on drugs, cause EVERYONE is saying the same thing over and over. Examples include Julie Pinson's constant Georgia singing, Belle's I can't be with you if Philip dies Shawn, Mimi's Rex, there's something I have to tell you, i could go on and on but I won't cause you get the picture.
