Once A Hooker Always A Hooker
Stefano walks into the DiMera mansion and calls for Kate. Seeing as how she's not there, he figures she may be staking out marketing opportunities on her new street corner. EJ, however, is there and he tells Stefano the kids are back with him. Well, of course Stefano is thrilled, "But do I have to change diapers?"
"Depends," says EJ.
"I wasn't talking about my diapers," snorts Stefano.
EJ says he isn't sure how long Stefano's happiness will last.
Brady and Nicole cuddle in bed. Nicole says, "I know the kind of day you've had. Let me help you forget it for just a little while."
"You mean you're going to pour me a drink," asks Brady.
a Bitch-ho delivers Hope's lunch and wonders how she got thrown in solitary. Hope says she was trying to help someone. "No good deed goes unpunished," says the Bitch-ho. Hope gives her the dessert and asks for a favor. She asks what happened to Pam. Bitch-ho says Pam is still there, not at Salem Hospital, "She's just about to go into surgery here."
"She's gonna die," says Hope.
"So what's the difference if she went to Salem Hospital," asks the Bitch-ho.
The warden meets Bo at the pub and says she needs to give him a heads-up. She tells Bo Hope is in solitary. "Just so long as she's not alone," says Bo.
Jennifer is at the hospital trying to call Bo about Carly.
Phillip finds Kate and tells her about Carly injecting herself, "Now she's really sick."
Daniel mops Nathan's fevered brow as Nathan rambles. Melanie calls out for Carly who has stopped breathing. Dr. Daniel goes into action. He gives her CPR as Melanie wails.
Kate tells Phillip Vivian got off because of Brady.
A loudspeaker blasts...
CODE BLUE IN THE PATCH AND BILLIE MEMORIAL QUARANTINE ROOM!
Jen and Phillip rush up to the window and watch as Daniel pulls out his jackhammer and tries to revive Carly.
The warden says Hope stole a cell phone so she had to put her in solitary, "Her psychiatrist and I agree we should limit Hope's contact with her family. This was a courtesy. I didn't have to tell you this."
"I would have found out anyway," says Bo.
Hope backtracks and says she shouldn’t have said anything about Pam. She asks to talk to the warden.
Brady and Nicole bask in the afterglow. He says he forgot his troubles for a little while. "I haven't felt this good in so long," says Nicole.
"Let me guess," says Brady, "That was when you were on top of the world with Sydney and EJ."
"No," says Nicole , "It's when I was on top of EJ." She says she now knows if EJ wants this to work with Sydney, he needs her.
EJ says he can prove Samantha shot him. He says how he found the proof is what Stefano won't like, "Nicole gave it to me."
"Nicole?"
"No. Nicole." He says he had to come to an arrangement with Nicole to get the evidence, "She's not out of my life any more."
Huffin', puffin', wailin' and bawlin' in the isolation room. Carly comes back, hears all the commotion and heads for the light again.
The warden says they're just doing what's best for Hope, and she doesn't know when Bo can see her again. Bo asks for the shrink's number. The warden is reluctant to give him that information. Jennifer's call interrupts. She tells him Carly has Dungcootie Fever.
Melanie tells Carly she is mad at her for injectifying herself. OMG, the love-fest that follows is at a fever pitch. Pun intended.
Jennifer bumps into Dr. Ben as she heads in to update Chloe. Ben says his surgery went well, "I was the surgeon, what did you expect?"
"You need to work on your self esteem," says Jennifer.
EJ says he wants the kids to be happy. Stefano suggests buying them a pony. He wonders how EJ can let Nicole near Sydney, "She will become attached to Nicole and Nicole will have the upper hand. Sometimes I think you have a death wish."
"I think you live in a glass house," says EJ, "Throwing stones could be risky for you since you're married to a lying, traitorous bitch."
"Thanks," says Stefano, "It's not often I hear such great compliments about Kate out of the blue."
Bo is at the hospital and Jennifer is comforting him. She gives him the note Carly left and leaves. Bo opens and reads, "I'm sorry I had to decide this without talking to you. If Ciara were sick you would have done the same thing. The last few months with you made all the pain and sorrow worth it, even though I caused most of the pain and sorrow myself. I love you. I always will."
The warden comes in to see Hope. "I can't allow another innocent person to die," says Hope.
Melanie begs Daniel to give Nathan the anti-virus.
Carly sees Bo at the window, "Get out of here." But she'll always love him.
Kate phones Sami and leaves a message. She tells her she tired to neutralize EJ but it didn't work, "You're screwed."
EJ tells Stefano Kate sold him a bill of goods and has been scheming to get out of the house since she married him. He says Sami had no reason to shoot him unless she knew he was going to take the children, "She knew because your Katherine told her. Who's the idiot now?"
"There are too many candidates to choose," says Stefano.
Nicole worries that Brady isn't happy. He gives her all the reasons he's not, "A woman I loved died, my niece was handed over to Elvis the sociopath, I ran out of booze."
Stefano can't believe Kate told Sami. "Once a hooker always a hooker," says EJ, "She certainly knows how to fake it."
Stefano thinks EJ enjoys mocking him about this, even after he chose him above everyone else. EJ says there need to be consequences for Kate. Stefano says that's his decision.
Ben finds Phillip and says the antiviral appears to be working, "It looks like Carly will make it and we can use the drug on Melanie, "I can't make any promises, but she might survive." Unfortunately.
Melanie crawls in bed with Nathan and tells him they'll be OK. Phillip watches from outside. Oops.
Hope says she thinks the infirmary deaths weren't accidents. She asks the warden to transfer Pam to Salem Hospital.
Ben reports more improvements. He thinks they're in the home stretch. "Thank God," says gasps Jennifer.
"You're welcome," says Dr. Egomaniac. Then he hesitates, "Oh, you weren't talking to me."
Jennifer freaks at his arrogance and Bo tries to calm her down. They see Ben giving Phillip and Kate the good news. Bo decides Phillip really does love Melanie.
Phillip flashes back to seeing Nathan and Melanie all pretzelized together.
Brady says he knows how Nicole is, and doesn't want to judge her, "I can't pretend you wanting Sydney is a good idea."
EJ and Stefano decide to deal with their respective women as each sees fit. EJ wants to see Samantha pay, "Prison is too easy. She has to see me and Nicole bond with her children."
Melanie tends to Nathan. Daniel says he's glad to see things clearing up. Nathan says the drug almost had an instant effect, and he feels much better. Daniel asks what it was Nathan wanted to say about Clhoe. Nathan says he was delirious when he said that.
Bo tells Jennifer about Hope being in solitary. He thinks the warden is trying to silence Hope, "I wish her luck. God knows, all those years and I haven't been able to shut her up."
The warden thanks Hope and says there will be an inquiry, "I want to get you out of solitary and back to your job in the infirmary."
Brady and Nicole are at the pier. Brady gets a call and reports Melanie will be all right. Nicole says it's good to see him smile and sends him off. EJ shows up, "I saw you with Brady. We have to set up some ground rules."
Daniel gets off the phone and says none of them can leave isolation until morning.
"SLEEPOVER," yells Melanie.
Daniel thanks Carly for saving Melanie's life. Melanie tells Nathan she didn't like watching him almost die, "So don't ever do it again." Nathan feels the same way. She tells Nathan she won't forget what happened there.
"Me neither," says Nathan, "Where do we go from here?"
A new doc walks up and tells Ben that Dr. Carver wants to see him. He leaves. Bo says he overheard Phillip talking about being a dad and wonders if he's sure. He'd better be, he's already popped a couple of them.
Jen has tried to call back the phone Hope called her on, but can't get an answer. She says she wishes Alice were there, "She could think out of the box."
"I'd settle for just being able to think at all," says Bo.
The warden rushes in and tells Leigh Hope knows too much, "We have to get rid of her."
Kate walks into the rumpus room. Stefano plays it cool, but boils inside. "You know," asks Kate.
"Yes," says Stefano, "I know."
"So, what are you going to do?"
"Well," says Stefano, "You'll just have to wait and see."
EJ says he has to consider Sydney, so Nicole will have to make a choice, "You can either have Brady or Sydney... not both." he walks off. Nicole scowls.

My HUH?! moment was Hope telling the warden about her suspicions and asking her to save Pam. I mean, really? All the little whispered conversations the warden and Leigh have had? Hope's sudden move to solitary?
As one of Prevuze's tweets put it yesterday, I guess I shouldn't be surprised since Hope is a member of the Salem Kop Korp. But, if Hope didn't have her suspicions about the warden and coverups at the prison, why hasn't she confided in the warden before this? TLT
