BASTARD!

Chelsea and Stephanie are with Cordy in her room. They try to comfort her, but Cordy is inconsolable. She says Ford raped her. It happened the night they went out, and it happened in his dorm room. Cordy doesn't remember much about it, because he drugged her.

Morgan drops Ford off. She turns to leave and Ford asks where she's going. He wants her to tuck him in. Morgan refuses. As she starts to leave, she swoons and asks to use the bathroom. As Morgan heads into the bathroom, Ford pulls his vile vial out of his pocket, "I wonder if you caught the flu. It's going around you know." He looks down at his vial, "Maybe not."

Max tries, but can't reach Morgan on his cell phone. He flashes back to the party when Morgan wouldn't let Ford drive home. Max worries. He thinks he should have gone with Morgan and Ford. Then he notices Ashley has a busted lip. He asks about it. Ashley runs off.

Kate tells EJ he can't just show up at Steve and Kayla's and demand to see his child. EJ disregards that and starts to leave. Kate rushes toward him, but Stefano stops her, "My son has every right to see his child."

Patch tends to the twins. Since they're so young, he's limiting them to a half beer each. Bo is on the phone with Kayla who tells him things are fine. Bo says he and Hope are celebrating Bo's birthday. Once Bo is off the phone, Hope brings him a present.

Lucas finishes the sleeping Sami's backrub. He finds the note from EJ in her pocket and reads it. Lucas scowls.

Pensive Lucas flashes back to the birth and EJ telling people the kids don't look alike; then to Sami's hospital room where she told him the tests prove he is the father. Sami comes up and tells him the backrub was wonderful.

Macho-boy rages, "When were you going to tell me?"

Stefano tells Kate to stay out of matters that do not concern her. He sends Elvis off to see his son. He suggests a toast, "I have a grandson, and the DiMeras live on." Kate huffs.

Patch worries that EJ could be the father. Kayla tells him not to be concerned right now. He gives her a kiss.

"What was that for," asks Kayla.

"For saving me from myself."

"Which time was that?"

Patch says after Benjy was murdered he dreamed of taking the DiMeras out. Now, today with the twins he was thinking how easy it would be to take them to Sami and Lucas in Santo Domingo and tell them never to come back. When the audience stops cheering, Patch continues. He says he's seen the way Kayla cares for them and he realizes they need the whole family, "They need all the Brady family lovin' they can get."

Hope says she wanted to do something special for Bo this year, but she was too busy to leave him. She says she wanted to throw a big party.

"I don' need no stinkin' party," says Bo. Hope hands him Ciara and heads to the kitchen.

"I don' wan' no stinkin' baby," says Bo.

Cordy gives them the ugly details. Chelsea wants to call the police but Cordy won't let her. She thinks it's her word against Ford's.

Stephanie visualizes ugly things.

Cordy just wants to go home. Stephanie asks what about the other women, "Do you think you're the first girl he did this to?" Cordy refuses to go to the police. Stephanie rushes out.

Chelsea asks, "Where are you going?"

"Where do you think?"

Outside, Stephanie sees Nick and asks, "Where did Ford go?"

Nick says, "Morgan drove him home."

Stephanie asks, "What?"

Nick asks, "What's wrong?"

Stephanie says, "Ford raped Cordy. Morgan's in big trouble!"

Ford lays the unconscious Morgan on the bed, "Looking hot baby, and you want it." Slime oozes from every pore as he takes a little peek at the goods, "Oh, yeah!"

Max chases Ashley onto the balcony. She tells him Ford got physical but she didn't call the cops. She thinks it's not that big of a deal. Max worries Morgan might be Ford's next victim.

Chelsea comes out and listens as Nick says he has to report this. Chelsea says, "You can't report this." Nick says he has no choice, since he's on staff at the college.

Stephanie tells Chelsea Morgan drove Ford home. Chelsea asks where he lives. No one around her knows, so she stands up on a footstool and asks the entire crowd. Inside her room, Cordy cries.

One guy suggests checking Ford's webcam.

"What's his Internet site," asks Chelsea.

"What's it worth to you," asks the guy.

Chelsea cuts him off at the knees, "I don't have time to screw around!"

Lucas bawls Sami out for not telling him. Sami says she just wanted them to have one last nice night together. Lucas says this is the same thing as lying to him. Sami falls apart, "I was going to tell you in the morning."

"Oh," snorts Lucas, "That would be the mother of all mornings, wouldn't it?"

Sami cries, "This is breaking my heart, too."

Stefano toasts his grandson Johnny. Kate isn't in the mood. Stefano says she can visit them in Tuscany, "Look on the bright side... Samantha will be a continent away. So join me in a toast."

Kayla gets a picture of Ciara in her Halloween costume on her phone. She oohs and aahs over it. Patch wonders if she's thinking about the Pocket-man.

"I was thinking about Pocket and Sami's girl. I just wondered when we're going to start giving kids names around here," she says.

Patch grabs the baby powder and heads toward her. "Put it down! Don't you dare," she gasps.

Kinky Patch starts throwing baby powder around, "Hey, where did we put the Mazola? " Kayla heads for the hills.

Things get a little raucous in Patch and Kayla's room. Outside in the hallway, it sounds like quite a party. EJ walks up and hears the ruckus. He busts in, "What the hell is going on in here?"

Patch and Kayla stand naked covered in whipped cream, Mazola and baby powder, "What makes you think something is going on?"

EJ shows them the test results, "I demand to see my son." Patch shoves EJ toward the door as Kayla puts down her whips and chains and looks at the documents.

Stefano thinks it will be good for little Johnny to raise him in Italy, "Sami will be where she belongs, on Elvis arm, but bringing up the boy will be Elvis' responsibility."

"Sami can be dangerous when she's told what to do," says Kate.

Sami tries to get through to Lucas. Outside, workers have more luck as they try to drill through concrete. Lucas thinks their daughter will be jealous of Johnny, "I don't want her to turn out like..."

Sami interrupts, "Like me? You don't want her to turn out like me?"

"No, damn it," says Lucas, "like me."

Stephanie tells Cordy everything will be OK. She asks if she knows where Ford lives. Cordy doesn't remember.

Chelsea surfs in and they watch Ford's webcam.

One of the guy's says, "That's Sebastian hall." Max "Dudley Doright" Brady runs out as they watch Ford strip down.

Hope comes back after ditching Ciara. She gives Bo a scrapbook. "Wow," says Bo, "This is like a series of little family histories. It's amazing. You're amazing. Irritating, but amazing."

Sami says, "Lucas, you can't be serious. Our little girl can't turn out like me. First of all, I have a name. If she turns out like you, she will be a lucky little girl. Insecure, but lucky. She is lucky to have you as a father and Johnny is lucky too."

"What if EJ doesn't let me anywhere near him," says Lucas, "You ever think about that?"

EJ says, "I just want a moment with my child." Patch refuses. He and Kayla send EJ packing.

EJ turns for his parting shot as he leaves. "I'LL – BE - BACK," says the Rape-inator.

On the webcam, Ford continues to disrobe. Stephanie can't watch. Everyone else soaks it in.

Suddenly, Ford remembers the webcam and covers it.

Billie arrives. The crowd gives a recap of what's going on. Jett heads for Sebastian hall.

Morgan wakes up half naked, "What's going on?"

Ford tells her to go back to sleep. Morgan passes out again. "Good girl," says Ford.

Max the hero rushes in. Back at the sorority house, the gang can't see what is going on, but they all listen to the scuffle.

Jett flies in behind Max and grabs Ford as Max goes over and covers Morgan. As Jett subdues him, Ford screams, "My dad is a lawyer!" Jett resists the temptation to go beat the stuffing out of his dad instead of Ford.

"What's happening," screams Chelsea. Stephanie frets.

Sami and Lucas, as they are wont to do, go through the same argument they have been having all episode.

Sami thinks Lucas will have to be there to teach little Johnny how to build stink bombs, "What's EJ going to do, teach him a mean game of Mergers & Acquisitions?"

"He's still a DiMera," says Lucas, "He could wind up like Tony on the island or Lexie in the tunnel or... like Benjy – dead!"

EJ is back at the DiMera mansion. He tells Stefano Patch and Kayla wouldn't even let him look at little Johnny D. Stefano borrows EJ's phone and makes a call to Judge Lowell about a custody order.

Up in their bedroom, Bo looks at the album. "Now for your last gift," says Hope.

"There's more," asks Bo.

"There's always more," says Hope, as she rips off her robe to reveal her matronly nightie. Bo's phone interrupts. Hope doesn't want him to answer, but Bo can tell it's Kayla's ring.

He answers and Kayla tells him they need his help, "EJ was just here." She tells him about the DNA results and Bo relays the information to Hope. Kayla asks Bo if he thinks they should check in to an different hotel.

"I have a better idea," says Bo.

Cordy's parents come up to the sorority house and ask where she is. Chaos ensues as Max carries Morgan in. He lays her on the couch. Jett drags Ford in screaming, "If you arrest me you'll be sorry!"

Everyone wonders why Jett brought Ford to the sorority house. Jett gives the ridiculous explanation that he brought him there so they could get a statement from Morgan, "But mainly it gives us a chance for a big confrontation."

Chelsea takes the first shot, "BASTARD!"

"I didn't do anything," says Ford, "We were just making out. Since when is that a crime? This is a mistake."

Morgan is still out cold. Chelsea asks if there is anyone else there whom Ford has attacked, "Please! Somebody! ID him!"

Cordy steps up to the plate, "I can do that. He's the campus rapist, and he raped me." Shock and awe fills the room.

Cordy's parents make their way over to her. Ford claims she is lying. Cordy tries to attack him but her dad pulls her back.

Morgan wakes up, hugs Max and cries. Stephanie stares.

Sami says they will both protect their kids, "I want you to have faith in me, and we will be happy for all the Days Of Our Lives."

Stefano, EJ and the judge walk into the hallway leading to Steve and Kayla's room. A guy in a HAZMAT suit tells them the suite has been quarantined.

They haul Ford off. Billie wants statements. Stephanie wanders off and pouts.

Chelsea asks Nick, "Are we ever gonna be able to live normally?"

Nick says, "Artemis and DeMarquette are safe and Ford is going to jail. Boring times ahead."

"Back to watching DOOL, eh," says Chelsea.

Max says he will stay with Morgan tonight in the hospital. He asks if Stephanie is OK. She says she's upset, but tells him she is fine and says he should go with Morgan.

Cordy announces she has decided to stay. She says Stephanie and Chelsea changed her mind, and she needs to stop Ford from hurting someone else. Stephanie hugs her, "Everyone will be there with you." She flashes back to evil, evil, evil.

The HAZMAT crew won't let EJ and Stefano into the suite. EJ appeals to the judge who says she can't do anything. EJ vows to see his son, and they leave.

"Round one to the Bradys," says Patch. Kayla punches the buttons on her phone.

Bo and Hope romp. Bo's phone rings. Hope tries to stop him from answering it, but Bo insists. Kayla gives Bo the report about what just happened, but says EJ won't give up. She thanks Bo.

Bo tells Hope the plan worked, but stirred up a hornet's nest, "Y'know lately I've been thinking about torching the DiMera mansion, but now I remember what we have been fighting for. Revenge is not the answer. I don't know how I'd survive without you."

"I don't know how I'll survive if you answer that damn phone again," says Hope.

Lucas says he will miss holding Sami the most, "And feeling your heartbeat next to mine."

"We'll always have this," cries Sami.

"No we won't," says Lucas, "Not like this." Sami cries.

What are the DOOL PTB trying to do?
Get it cancelled?
If you are sensitive cover your ears,
WHAT THE F***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cordy finally admits Ford raped her. Oh so NOW we're taking rape seriously, what a surprise.
And Max, who has suspected there was something sleezy about Ford from the get go, didn't seem to have a problem with Morgan driving him home.

Oh and then there's the DOOL writer's oh-so-accurate portrayal of campus life in sorority, guys all over the place, drinking, parties till all hours. Great job DOOL research dept.

Now I am not sure who amongst us here in Prevuze have teenage or college age daughters, but I can tell you as the mother of a 16 yr old girl, if she told me a guy raped her, and then the guy was standing right in front of me, there wouldn't be enough left of him to turn over to the police.
I can't believe Cordy's parents just stand there after she tells them.

Cordy's parents make their way over to her. Ford claims she is lying. Cordy tries to attack him but her dad pulls her back.

PULLS HER BACK? My husband would have held him down for her!!

DOOLisms all around today:

"They need all the Brady family lovin' they can get."
Hearing this baby Johnny reaches in his diaper and pulls out the escape route map and emergency Salem Baby Underground hotline number Ciera slipped him earlier, and heaves a sigh of relief

Chelsea cuts him off at the knees, "I don't have time to screw around!"
OH NOW you don't have time to screw around. Not like a few months ago when you were bar hoping and dropping ectasy

"Sami can be dangerous when she's told what to do," says Kate.
Really? I always thought she was more dangerous when left to her own devices.

Chelsea asks Nick, "Are we ever gonna be able to live normally?"
Living Normally?? You mean in a world where dead people stay dead, rapists go to jail and children don't age 10 years overnight?
Nah, what fun would that be?

Everyone wonders why Jett brought Ford to the sorority house. I had to read that a second time. For a minute it seemed like I was reading my own thoughts because that's EXACTLY what went through my mind when Jett brought Ford to Felta Guy.

It would have been nice if Cordy had reported the rape in time for a tox screen and rape kit to do any good.

Deb pretty much said everything else I would have had to say on the subject.

To lighter fare - LOL at the pictures, especially Johnny's new Italian name - Squinto. I got called out to a meeting just as I'd gotten to that one and chuckled to myself all the way through the meeting. Try to explain why a software system conversion is funny at 9:00 a.m.

Love you, Prevuze!

So how is it the EJ has DNA results and he can take away the kid. Despite the fact that he impregnated the mother in a "not-legal" way (I don't want to start the rape or not debate). But then Phillip has a DNA test done and can't get his own kid. Holy cow writers figure it out. It's called consistency - stick with it. Do they even talk about things before writing scripts or do they just start a blank slate every day and pretend that the days/scripts before don't matter. This show is getting awful! Not like I've watched it in months - I only read it here, but still it's getting to be a total joke.

Lisa,

Salem is where logic and continuity go to die. Wait, maybe I should take that back because nothing stays dead in Salem. How about Salem is where it is tortured and twisted until it no longer resembles logic and continuity.

Lisa, you are right about the DNA test. How long ago did Phillip have a DNA test and the results are still not in? And yet, Sami's twins were just born the other day and the DNA results are already back? This is crazy. Weren't the DNA tests run in the same hospital? Has the Kiriakis family lost its clout?

Calling him by his Italian name Squinto!
*great* line!

Philip did get the DNA results and then graciously decided to let the foster parents adopt the kid. In what world would he become Mr. nice guy?

I'm so glad I don't have to watch this & just get to read Prevuze.

I have to share a funny little story - last night I was watching Days when my husband came home from work. In the past, he has only caught bits and pieces of Days. He watched for about 30 seconds and said, "Didn't Sami and Lucas have this same conversation about two months ago?" I had to explain to him how conversations are repeated a LOT on this show!

Question - with all the threats being made about killing EJ (Lucas, Marlena, etc.), does anyone else think he is going to wind up dead soon with a "who dunnit" storyline following....?

10:00 AM
Blogger cfish said...

I hate to say it, but I hope they don't kill off EJ. The SLs are so lame, and they drag out so long, there isn't really any good reason to watch the show other than to oogle James Scott. And everybody will probably go "EEEEWWWWWW!!!" but I used to think Stephen Nichols was pretty hot in his day, and he still ain't half bad! It'll be just my luck Patch will kill EJ, then Stefano will kill Patch (again!) for revenge. If that happens, I'm afraid I just might have to tune out!

Forgot to mention--

I may tune out from watching DOOL, but I'll keep reading Prevuze!!!

Ok, now that the dreaded divorce is a done deed can we please have the scheming Sami return to replace whining Sami and get some action going? She could really get this story moving by actually doing something instead of talking.

Boy, they wound up the date rape story line rather quickly don't you think? There's probably a second creep on that campus. In the case of rape wouldn't real police be called in by the campus security? I forgot, every broken law is dealt with on a case by case basis and the sentences are inversely proportionate to the crime. Such as Wilho in jail for I can't remember what, but murderers and rapists walk the streets freely.

Thank you Deb for your post - exactly what I was thinking too. The whole rape portrayal has been done so badly.

Now, my question is - was Stephanie raped too? What's with all her flashbacks? How will TIIC mess this one up?

Now, on to the good things - love the half a beer each. And Squinto - the best!

I feel like I missed something. Did they show Steph making out with some guy? And who's the guy?

Deb, in the beginning, I said that Days' portrayal of Greek life is inaccurate. If someone came to a rush party and was not interested in joining (Chelsea) we wouldn't invite her to join. You want girls who want to be in the sorority. And you don't have a basket of pins that you give first come first serve. There's a process. Alcohol would not be allowed in the house. Guys would not be allowed upstairs.

What Morgan and others did with the task of having pairs raise the most money is called hazing and not allowed (although it does happen). And the same person would not be president for multiple years (Morgan) and so on and so on. But it's TV so we have inaccuracies. Oh, where's the house mother????

Why are Stayla still living in a hotel? It seems like they're going to stick around so why don't they get an apartment, house, room above Brady's Pub? Steve isn't working, Kayla barely works. Where's their money coming from to pay the hotel bill?

Why wasn't Morgan taken to the hospital straight away? Who knows what she was given. Why did Jett have custody of Ford at all? The police would have arrested him at the dorm. It would have been better if say, Ford was attacked at his bond hearing or when being taken into the station.

It's really a mystery to me what the writers are thinking. The show has so much potential. It is the lowest rated soap on the air and shouldn't be.

Yes, I agree. Cordy's parents would not be holding her back from attacking Ford. They'd be leading the charge.

"Squinto". Bravo! HAHAHAHA

Sounds like when I start to watch the whole week's episodes this weekend by zapping out any conversation that is a Lumi repeat of the v-word or time-killing Ho and Dope stuff I should actually only have about an hours worth to watch.

Great Prevuze today, thanks! :D

It's probably going to turn out that several of the guys at the frat house have been using GSB or something similar to rape girls on campus...and they probably don't think they are committing any sort of crime because they're "entitled"...and the girls went out with them to begin with, so they wanted it....

It could end up being a decent story if handled correctly....

So the baby boy is EJ's. Big surprise. Too bad the writers didn't pull a switcheroo and make the girl EJ's, just for the heck of it.
Also, Stephano seemed disappointed in the chid's name, John/Johnny but when he put the DiMera spin on it, calling him Gianni, it's a nice Italian name. Wonder if he'll be called Wells or DiMera...

I'm pissed that Sami is still going through with this stupid marriage. It's so ridiculous! The only guys I find attractive on this show are Lucas(if only he was a bit taller) and EJ. Bo is okay for an older man and so was John. I don't want them to get rid of EJ.I just want him to move on to someone else. I still can't figure out why he wants Sami so badly. I'm sure Johnny really isn't his, but it'll take 2 years to figure that one out. And I'm also sure Philip's kid is Belle's. Ugh so annoying!

From the previews: Phillip says, "Look at me Belle, tell me to my face the man you want is Shawn."

And which face is it that you want Belle to tell it to? Your first or second one??? Every now and then the writers show they have a sense of humor.

I know this is late to be 'chiming' my 2 cents in but.... c'mon..... I think the writers are nuts.

This show has been sooooo unbelievable lately.... Like 100 x's more than normal.... Hey writers if your letting someone new write the storylines - here's a tip - - - they s*ck! and your viewers are really getting tired of sticking by and watching this show go down the toilet! We all love our 'Days' - and want to enjoy watching it again - like before - but the ratings are down and guess why - your messing (and that's a kind way of saying it!) all up!

Why not read some of the good ideas here - alot of your viewers certainly have better ideas than any of yours!!!! Take some advice - let the viewers 'write' the story and maybe your ratings would start to rise!!!!!

Thanks for the chance to vent!!!! I hope they read it!!!!!

Prevuze - you are the ONLY way to make the viewers interested in this show. Without it - alot of us would probably give up on 'Days'....

Thanks and keep up the GREAT work!

Remember last week when Phil was thinking about the past with Belle and Claire and they showed flashbacks of this Phil with Claire. They should have shown scenes of Kyle Brandt as Phil as Phil had his "old" face during those times. Where's the continuity director?
