A Bad Babysitter Movie

Nick protests and claims this was an accident. The officer says he has to take him in. They wheel Willow off cold and dead. Nick makes a call, "It's me. Something happened to Willow and I'm in trouble."

EJ gets a call. He thinks it's Lucas, but finds out it's Sami instead. Sami wants to hop out of her room but EJ tells her the minute she does, the guard will call Lucas or Roman. Sami tells EJ to distract him and hangs up. EJ goes back over to the guard and starts to apologize. As they shake hands, EJ doubles over in pain. The officer calls a doctor as Sami runs out. Suddenly, EJ feels better. He thanks the officer, who tells him to be on his way. EJ leaves. Officer Mike is once again perplexed, but it's not the first time that has ever happened to a Salem cop.

Tony meditates and slowly waves his Hara-kiri sword. Rolf interrupts him. He tells him Stefano is growing weaker by the hour. Tony says if he dies he will hold every individual Brady responsible.

Julie reads the mystery letter, "These are the terms of our vendetta: The name of the family I curse is Brady. Their land is America and many of them are gathered in a little village called Salem. Seek them out and make them pay dearly for what they did to your Papa."

"The whole thing is over a woman," says Hope. Doug thinks Colleen must've really been something. Bo wonders who she was. Hope decides that's what they have to find out.

Chelsea rushes into the cop shop. Nick tells her Willow is dead. Roman walks in. Nick stares.

Sami can't believe they are at the DiMera mansion again. EJ's job is to call 911 and sound like he's a dying Stefano. He makes the call and sounds more like a dying Marlin Brando. He hangs up and his phone rings. Sami tells him not to answer because it's 911 calling back. They wait. EJ tells Sami, "You really are something, you know that?"

Tony sighs, pours a drink and sits down with a book. Bart interrupts and tells him there is a problem. Tony tells Bart to handle it. Bart tells him an ambulance is on the way, "This is like a bad babysitter movie."

Julie wonders if OMB or Caroline know about this Colleen woman. Hope tells them about OMB's reluctance to talk about it. Right on cue, OMB walks out and sees them talking. Hope suggests Bo talk to him, "You're not afraid of your father, are you?"

Bo snarls, "NO!" He looks over at OMB, "Well, maybe a little." Bo goes over to talk to him.

Hope says, "We need to start at the very beginning."

Doug says, "Find out who Colleen was and how she and Santo DiMera got together."

Hope asks, "What could have happened back then that led to so much bloodshed?"

Doug says, "If we take this far enough, we may even get to the bottom of the mystery why DOOL hires retarded writers."

Bo asks OMB about Colleen. OMG claims he never heard of her and leaves.

Hope wonders if there is a record of the relationship. Julie suggests going back to Maison Blanche. Doug suggests asking Blanche herself. Julie thinks they might even have to go to Italy, "We could start at the toe and work our way up pasta by pasta." Hope wonders if the tunnel from Doug's Place would offer a clue.

Tony tells Bart to tell the EMTs there is a mistake. Bart tells him it's the law. They have to send them once a call comes in. Tony orders him to refuse them admittance.

EJ accepts the fact that Sami's heart belongs to Lucas, but he's impressed with her cunning. A siren wails. Sami says, "If you won't focus I will do this myself."

Roman gives Nick the third degree. Nick goes through the beach story. He says Willow taunted and teased him and then fell. He didn't even realize she was hurt. But then he realized she wasn't responding. He gave her CPR. Roman doesn't buy it. Nick gasps.

Chelsea vouches for his honesty. It's kind of like Dillinger vouching for Capone. Chelsea says Willow was a lowlife. Roman gets nasty. He thinks Nick's answers have been vague. He wants to know what he and Willow were doing out there. Nick says he agreed to meet her there. Roman thinks it doesn't make sense. Nick says she insisted. Roman mocks him and turns to Chelsea, "I don't think Nick here is quite as honest as you think he is."

The doorbell rings. Tony calls for Bart, but answers it himself. The EMTs tell them they are there because of the 911 call. Tony tries to get rid of them. The EMTs insist on going in as Sami and EJ watch. EJ decides they have to get to Stefano before he gets to the emergency room. So they decide they have to get into the ambulance.

Chelsea begs Roman to give Nick a chance. Roman refuses. He tells the brat she doesn't belong there, so she can shut up if she wants to stay. They really need to have stadium seating installed in Roman's office to accommodate all the people who shouldn't be in on questioning. Roman wants to know why Nick met Willow at the beach. Nick tells him she wanted to borrow money and he told her no. Willow got mad and taunted him. Nick says they struggled. Roman has a conniption when he hears this. Now he has to get Nick into his office and get this on tape. Nick asks for a minute to say goodbye to Chelsea. Roman OKs it and goes into his office.

"I need a huge favor," says Nick.

The tunnel that was a direct link between the club and the DiMera mansion might provide clues. Hope begs Doug to get them in there somehow. Doug leaves to make a call.

OMB comes back to Bo. Bo thinks he isn't being straight. He needs to know who Colleen was. "Leave it be," says OMB.

The EMTs insist on seeing Stefano. Tony asks Rolf to escort them up to Stefano's room. Rolf leads them. EJ and Sami try to figure out how to get into the ambulance. Sami thinks they have to muscle their way in. EJ wonders how they would accomplish that. "You are the thug around here," says Sami. She reminds him Stefano will be leaving on a gurney any minute.

Bart stands behind them pointing his gun, "The only ones leaving on a gurney are you two."

Nick tells Chelsea Willow had the hairbrush. He tells her he buried it. They can't leave it there. There will be a slew of cops at the beach. He describes where it is and asks Chelsea to get it and throw it into the lake. Hugs. He says she would have been proud of him for standing up to Willow. She says she is always proud of him. Nick isn't so sure. He brings up Jett. Chelsea says he doesn't need to worry about Jett.

Roman calls Nick into the torture chamber. Chelsea tells him not to worry and leaves.

Tony paces as Bart brings EJ and Sami in, "I found these two outside in the garden and they were not pruning the dogwoods." Tony asks which one called 911. Silence. Tony takes Sami's phone. He sees she didn't call. He demands EJ's phone and checks it, "Dear brother, why am I not surprised? Tell me, what are you thinking. What the hell is going on?" EJ says he wants to make sure Stefano is properly cared for. Tony tells Sami EJ is developing a schoolboy crush on her.

Stefano yells as the EMTs bring him downstairs. They tell Tony they are taking him to the hospital, where he can get proper care.

Julie says she doesn’t know whom Doug is calling. Bo comes back and says his pop is tight lipped. Bo will talk to Caroline when OMB isn't around. They bring Bo up to date about what Doug is doing. Bo gets a call. He says he's on his way and excuses himself.

Roman starts the tape. He asks why Willow wanted money. Nick says he loaned her money before because he felt sorry for her. Roman gets down to brass tacks, "How long were you two sleeping together?"

Chelsea wanders around the crime scene. She finds the spot and digs.

Tony protests. He says they can't take Stefano. EJ says Stefano is his father too, and he needs to see a real doctor. Suddenly, Sami realizes who Rolf is, "You're that guy Mimi and Rex had to bury. You're supposed to be dead.

"It didn't take," says Rolf.

Tony rants as they take Stefano out. Sami and EJ escape but leave their cell phones behind.

Nick says Chelsea is his girlfriend. Roman says Nick wouldn't be the first guy getting a little on the side. Roman says if he wasn't sleeping with her she was blackmailing him. He wants to know why.

Chelsea digs and finds the brush, "Thank you God." And thus, God becomes an accessory.

Bo shines a flashlight on her, "Mind telling me what you're doing here, kid?"

Doug comes back. The real estate agent will let them into Doug's Place. Doug picks up the keys tomorrow. They toast their adventure as OMB looks on.

Tony says nobody crosses a DiMera and gets away with it. He vows they will be sorry and goes back inside. He finds the empty room and calls for Bart. Bart comes in finishing up his key lime pie. Tony asks where they are and asks why he wasn't watching them. Bart chokes.

EJ and Sami get into the ambulance. The EMT's protest, but Sami and EJ stay.

EJ says, "Father it's Elvis. I need to speak to you." He removes the oxygen tent.

PrevuzeStefano looks up at Sami, raises his hand and caresses her cheek, "Colleen. Colleen, you are alive."

Chelsea says to Bo, "I just need to hear you say the words just once – that you believe me." Nick stands beside her.

Wow! Stef looks damned good for a guy who has been "dying" for years. He and John (BTW, loved the t-shirt sunburn pic) must have found the secret to good health - comas or a terminal illness.

ROFLMAO at Jett's bikini wax. I was waiting for that x-rated moment when Jett & Jeremy's trunks fell all the way off.

Glad someone finally addressed Rolf's demise...."It didn't take." HAHAHA

Even before I got to the part where Nick asked Chels to dig up the brush (which no one would have ever found) and toss it in the lake I was wondering why the dweeb didn't just lob it out in the water in the first place! TLT

More great pictures and prevuisms than I can relate today. Thanks!

Rumors/Spoilers/Predictions:

1. Shawn finds out Willow's baby isn't his. Don't know if the baby survives or not.

2. Jeremy and Chelsea kiss! Yeah like no one saw that coming.

3.Stefano announces that Colleen was killed by the Bradys!
This one is my favorite. It brings up all kinds of questions that IF the writers had any imagination at all could really make for a good storyline.
I know I know, who am I kidding?
DOOL writers? Having imagination?
Riiiiiight

Instead of DOOLims today, we have Hope, Doug and Bo all trying to see who can win the title of Mr. Obvious:

"The whole thing is over a woman," says Hope If you were any smarter Hope you'd be a blonde

Doug says, "Find out who Colleen was and how she and Santo DiMera got together." Well since we know Colleen was a Brady and given that Brady women just LOVE fall for dangerous men, does it really matter?

Bo thinks he (OMB) isn't being straight. Yes he is Bo, you just need to consult your Brady to English dictionary. If you can't find yours just ask anyone down at the Salem police station. They have to keep one handy there to translate the things Roman says.

So Stefano thinks Sami is Colleen? Is he demented? I know he knows who Sami is.
Didn't Sami refer to Rolf's demise in yesterday's Prevuze?
Is there any hair left in the hairbrush?
Love your Prevuze and love the high camp that is DOOL

Jan is still with us and in a coma. The scrawling in the "Separated at Birth" picture was a feeble attempt at poetic license, sometimes called a Prevuzism.

Yes, she did. I guess the DOOL writers, so famous for never missing a single detail, felt compelled to further explain how Rolf is back from the dead. I mean, how much more detailed can you get than, "It didn't take" - that certainly clears everything up for me.

I'd suggest Nick not say any more until he calls a lawyer but since the only one left in town now is Mickey I guess he's better off without. HAHAHAHAHA

If they want to interrogate someone, get OMB in there and force him to tell what he knows. (Which I can't believe they haven't done by now anyway.)

LOL over "a dying Marlon Brando" and Marlena listening to Sami. Is it just me or does Deidre Hall seems like she's sleepwalking thru her scenes anyway? Is it because she's not the front burner story any more or what?

Great Prevuze today!

I keep reading that EJ raped Sami. I thnk that is an insult to real rape victims. Sami traded her body for what she wanted - EJ's help. Was it a despicable thing for him to ask for, yes but it wasn't rape. When Willow traded her body for what she wanted she was a hooker.

8:17 AM

Rape is rape. What she wanted? I suppose if you're husband or child were going to die and the only way to save them was to "sleep" with someone, you would be fine with that, cause that is what YOU wanted. Huh.

Of course, it was rape. I can't believe anyone would think otherwise. Jeez!

Okay, this doesn't really have anything to do with today's episode, but I think I missed something . . . How the heck did Nick know where to meet Willow? All she said was "I need you here in 20 minutes" -- she never really said where she was, did she? And how did he know to find her at the police station when he went to get his credit card back? Well, I guess when you explain someone's "non-death" by saying "It didn't take", little details like that don't really matter much, do they?

9:30 AM
Blogger cfish said...

Oh, and one other thing --

Why the heck didn't Nick take the doggone brush and run it through Willow's hair a few times? Get her DNA on it, too, and the Salem cops would NEVER be able to figure that one out!!!!!

How did Sami know that Rex and Mimi tried to bury Rolf? did I miss something. But then again everyone seems to magically know about EJ raping Sami, but apparently that's not enough to put him in jail like they so want to do. Do DOOL writers think we're as dumb as the characters on the show?

10:17 AM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

Oh and running the brush through Will-ho's hair would have been brilliant - again the characters aren't smart enough to think of that.

I'm just curious, I have read that when Santo and Colleen were together they looked like E.J. and Sami, but Stefano didn't know Colleen, so why would he call Sami, Colleen? Seriously, what sense does that make? I could understand if she was the love of his life or if he had met her, but to hear it from his father's deathbed is outrageous. Some of these storylines are not making any sense.

On another thought, I'm glad Willow is gone today. I haven't liked her from the beginning. TY DOOL writers on that.

"Sami traded her body for what she wanted - EJ's help. Was it a despicable thing for him to ask for, yes but it wasn't rape."

UH, EJ had a gun with him at the time and used it to threaten Sami... she had to give him what he wanted and then he would help her, but then Sami also had to drive him thru the police roadblock.... the WHOLE time, holding a gun on Sami! So, while it may have looked like Sami "traded" to get what she needed, the fact that EJ used threats and force still shows that HE RAPED HER!!!! geez!!

Is it possible that Colleen was really Stefano's biological mother? And thus the deeper attachment?

11:40 AM
Blogger cfish said...

Okay, going out on a limb, here --

Does anybody remember WAYYYYYY back when Willow first showed up and was talking to Shawn, that he mentioned his Grandfather Shawn, and Willow said her grandfather's name was Shawn, too? Anybody besides me thinking that this is going to play into the Brady/DiMera feud, somehow, and maybe Willow's baby's stem cells are going to be used to save Stefano, because Stefano is actually OMB's half brother (same mother, "Colleen", even though Santo's and his wife raised Stefano as THEIR son), and Willow's mother/father is an illegitimate child of OMB?????

Oh, boy, I think I need to lay off the caffeine!!!!

11:57 AM
Blogger Deb said...

cfish: that would work EXCEPT it is going to come out that Willow's baby is NOT Shawn's.

Now that doesn't mean it isn't EJ's, which could explain why EJ wanted to set Willow up to dissapear in jail.

You never know.

I'm thinking maybe Colleen was OMB's biological mother, making Stephano and OMB half brothers. Maybe Colleen died in childbirth and that's why Santo hated the Bradys.

12:04 PM
Blogger cfish said...

Deb: If Stefano and OMB are half-brothers, and Willow is a granddaughter of OMB, then her baby's stem cells could still be used to save Stefano, regardless of who the baby's father is -- Stefano would basically be her great-uncle and thus related by blood. Which means Shawn (the younger) was actually sleeping with his . . . oh, I don't even want to try to figure THAT one out . . . oh, no, wait -- Shawn isn't OMB's BIOLOGICAL grandson, so it's OK . . .

Why doesn't Chelsea run the brush through her hair within sight of Roman? That way, when her hair is found in the brush, there's a safe explanation.

OMB is our short-hand for Old Man Brady. Keeps us from needing to say the elder Shawn and younger Shawn.

I've been busy today and just checked back in to the Comments. I've been missing a heck of a conversation!

Of course it wasn't rape. It was called a deal. Even Marlena knew that. "You did what you had to do." Rape implies lack of choice in the matter. Sami had a choice - she chose to use EJ's muscles in return for her body. He didn't even bring it up until she said "I would do ANYTHING if you would help Lucas." EJ was just ready to get the heck out of Dodge.

"Of course it wasn't rape. It was called a deal. Even Marlena knew that. "You did what you had to do." Rape implies lack of choice in the matter."

SO, what you're saying is that if a woman starts to be intimate w/a man, but then changes her mind and wants to leave, but he pulls a gun on her, threatening her, and says "If you want to leave here, first you'll give me what I want..." and she does sleep w/him becuz she is afraid he'll kill her otherwise, you are telling us here that the woman WILLINGLY slept with the guy??????? That is just what EJ did to Sami..... YES IT WAS RAPE!!!!
