A Very Naughty Girl
Phillip is in a blind rage as he talks on the phone with one of his employees, "The engineers are going to recreate that project. If you call me with any more excuses, you're fired." The doorbell rings. Phillip walks over, swings it open and pays no attention to Stephanie as he continues to harangue. Phillip finally hangs up. Stephanie says, "The project is gone. You can't get it back. Don't make yourself crazy."
"Too late," says Phillip.
Max notices the safe has been left on the last number of it's combination. He checks inside, finds the blueprints are missing and has a hissy fit.
Melanie meets Tony at the DiMera mansion door. She tells him she needs more money.
Brady is inside telling Nicole Phillip won't bother them any more. Nicole is relieved. She hugs Brady just as EJ walks in. Nicole tells EJ she invited Brady to the christening. EJ ain't happy.
Sami and Will sit together in the pub. She tells Will it's time to go to the church. Will isn't too excited about it, "That's Nicole's baby and you hate Nicole so why are you going?"
"I don't get many opportunities to see the inside of a church."
Mia sits on the plane and stares as the attendant announces they are landing in Chicago.
Tony says he can't give Melanie any more money until things are up and running. Melanie says she's decided to give half the $10,000 to Max, and now she wants a contract. Tony tells her the contract is still being drafted, "I hired Mickey to do it and the last time I saw him he was looking 'contract' up in the dictionary."
Melanie figures Tony has something in common with EJ, "You're both liars."
Brady gets a call and leaves the room before EJ can erupt. EJ erupts anyway and lectures Nicole about spending time with Brady. She turns the tables on him and lectures him about Sami inviting Sami to the christening.
Sami 'splains to Will why she is going. Will says, "You hate Nicole. When you hate someone you hate everything about them. You hate her guts. The real you wouldn't look at that kid. You act weird when Sydney's around."
Sami insists it has nothing to do with the baby, "I act weird all the time."
Phillip gives Stephanie a folder to take to the office and fax. He wants her to come back after she does that, "I'm not going in today and need somebody sane to talk to, but I'll settle for you." Stephanie rants about Victor being so hard on Phillip. Phillip says he's used to it. He beats himself up for letting things get out of control, and says he has to prove to his dad that he is a winner. Stephanie says she's in love with the Phillip That's loving and kind. "That Phillip isn't enough for me," he says, "Never will be."
Melanie rants, "I need more money."
Tony softens, "You have a lovely face. The greed in your eyes ruins your smile." He tells her to calm down and they can talk in a couple weeks. He slams the door in her face.
Melanie gets a call. Max blows sky high and tells her to get down there with the blueprints. Melanie hangs up, "Uh-oh."
EJ keeps lecturing Nicole but Sydney's crying ends that. Nicole picks her up and things calm down. Stefano, Tony and Brady come in. Stefano handles the photography. He says he thinks this is a big deal. Sydney cries. Stefano asks, "Why are you crying? You should be happy. You are a DiMera for all the Days Of Our Lives."
Sami tries to reason with Will, but he's an adolescent, so she's in over her head. Will finally decides they should go to the church. Now that she's got Will convinced, Sami reaches deep inside and conjures up one of her many other personalities, who happens to have better things to do. She does a 180° and decides she's not going.
Max blows his stack. Melanie cries, "It's over. This is all we have left." She hands him a check for his half of the money. Max can't believe she sold the plans for ten grand. She tells him she sold them to Tony, and she also tells him she doesn't have a contract, "I'm a piece of work. I always think I can play with the big boys and then I end up a loser."
Max wonders why she did it. Melanie falls apart and tells him the project is all she has. He reminds her she doesn't have it any more. Max shoves the check back at her and tells her he doesn't need it. Suddenly, Melanie has an epiphany and gets out her cell phone.
EJ and Nicole arrive at the church. EJ goes to find Father Matt. Nicole has a baby-moment and tells Sydney it was hard to give up Mia's baby but thinks she did the right thing.
Tony gets off the phone with Lexie and answers the doorbell. He swings the door open to find Mia standing there. Apparently, Tony lives next door to O'Hare Airport.
Seeing yet another teenage girl standing at his door, Tony says, "You'd better be selling Girl Scout cookies."
Melanie is on the phone with Phillip. She tells him she knows where he can find a copy of the blueprints. Phillip tells her to get over there. Melanie tells Max she was talking to Phillip and rushes out.
Phillip tells Stephanie Melanie called and said she knows where he can get the blueprints. Stephanie is skeptical, "Do not trust her."
Phillip says, "This isn't about trust. This is about bad dialogue."
Sami and Nicole meet at the church and share an uncomfortable but somewhat civil moment. Nicole says she really does want Sami there. It's a big deal for all of them and she knows Sami won't be coming to the wedding so she wants her there now to see she and EJ really are a family, "I will not let anyone pull my family apart."
Mia asks for Nicole. Tony tells her she's not there. Mia asks if Nicole has the baby. Tony says yes. He reminds her they have met. Mia introduces herself. She starts to leave. Tony asks how Mia's baby is doing, "You were pregnant when we met." Mia gives him the patented DOOL thousand-yard stare, "I'm sorry. Did something happen to your child?"
Melanie shows Phillip something which is supposed to amount to some kind of agreement between them, "My lawyer dictated this over the phone for me. Now my $10,000 is gone." Phillip isn't impressed, but says he wants the story. Melanie tells him Nick hid a copy of the blueprints. Stephanie jumps in and tells Phillip not to believe her. Melanie tells Phillip Max had a copy at the Cheatin' Heart, "But the blueprints were stolen."
"Who stole them?" Enquiring minds want to know. If Phillip had a mind, he'd want to know, too.
Sami tells Nicole she isn't spending her time trying to figure ways to tear her family apart. Will comes in mumbling. EJ joins them. He asks Nicole to come and see Father Matt with Sydney. Nicole tells Sami Johnny had a little fever so they left him at home. She leaves with EJ. Will tells Sami he's leaving if Johnny Fever isn't there. Sami asks she is too, but goes in to say a prayer.
Mia tells Tony she gave her baby away. Tony asks, "Did you have a daughter as well."
Mia gets nervous, "I can't talk. I have to go. Please don't tell Nicole you talked to me."
Tony asks, "Why?"
Melanie tells Phillip it was Tony who stole the blueprints, "He's a weird guy. So since we had something in common, we connected."
Phillip kicks her out. He mumbles to himself, "Tony DiMera could be the answer to everything."
Mia evades Tony's question. He wonders if Nicole helped her find a mother for her child.
Nicole comes out into the vestibule and finds Sami again. She goes to get the christening gown to show Sami, but when she gets outside, she bumps into Brady. Brady tells her he's not staying because that would stir things up with EJ. Nicole begs him to stay, "I'll be here in spirit," say Brady.
Mia stammers around and says Nicole helped her in a way. Tony empathizes, "You miss your baby terribly, don't you?"
Mia whines, "Is she here?"
"No," says tony, "I told you – she's gone."
"Not Nicole," says Mia, "Sydney."
Tony gets it, "Sydney is your baby?"
Mia spills the beans, "Nicole lost her baby and I gave her mine."
Tony ponders as Mia runs off, "Oh, Nicole... you have been a very naughty girl."
The only park bench in Salem continues to get a workout. Will wanders around it and rants about his parents. He finds Mia sitting on the Steps crying.
Phillip decides he's going to get Titan out of the mess he got it into. He stomps off.
EJ walks into the sanctuary where Sami is praying. Sydney pukes. "What's wrong with her," asks Sami.
"She's been watching DOOL," says EJ. Sami takes her while EJ goes to clean up.
Stefano reveals the family heirloom christening gown, "You will just love this."
Nicole admires it, "It's beautiful, but I just had a baby and don't think I could get into something that small." Stefano gets a call and excuses himself. Nicole gets a call, too. Tony tells her they have to talk right away. Nicole tells him they will have plenty of time to talk later, or they could actually talk on the phone. Tony says this has to be done in person. He tells her to stay put and rushes for the church.
Brady bustles into the Kiriakis mansion looking for Stephanie. She tells him Phillip is off to find Tony.
Phillip bursts into the DiMera mansion, "Tony DiMera get your ass down here right now! TONY! TONY! TONY!
STELLA!
EJ is back with Sami and is puke-free for the moment. Sami bounces Sydney and makes goo-goo eyes at EJ who tells her, "Seeing you with Sydney just seems... right."
"Not from my point of view," says Sydney.
Tony rushes in and finds Nicole, "Well, I'm glad I got here in time – before you lie in front of man and God."
God booms, "You're several years too late for that."
Tony moves up to Nicole's ear and whispers, "Sydney... Nicole... darling... we both know that she's not your daughter." Nicole's jaw hits the floor.
"Too late," says Phillip.

Why does it feel like no one gives a fig about Johnny. And where the hell is Allie?
This is what happens when you have too many freaking kids on a show.
Melanie meets Tony at the DiMera mansion door. She tells him she needs more money.
What is Melanie doing with all the money that’s coming her way? I assume she isn’t paying Maggie any rent. It doesn’t look like she eats much, and when she does eat, she’s munching out on Maggie’s cookies. There definitely has not been a wardrobe upgrade, and what Melanie does wear is material challenged. Melanie has a car but she flooded the engine. Since Max is a big time car guy, it shouldn’t cost her much to get the car fixed. Unless she’s dumping all her money into shares with AIG, Melanie should not be cash strapped.
”The real you wouldn't look at that kid. You act weird when Sydney's around."
Sami insists it has nothing to do with the baby, "I act weird all the time."
Yep, can’t disagree with that one.
Tony softens, "You have a lovely face. The greed in your eyes ruins your smile."
Tony may not be long for DOOL but the writers certainly have made him perceptive. Maybe that’s why they don’t want the character sticking around. Why would they want anyone with brains in Salem?
He swings the door open to find Mia standing there. Apparently, Tony lives next door to O'Hare Airport.
Hopefully, Tony isn’t living in one of the homes that Mayor Daley is ripping away from their owners to further his nefarious plans for the airport expansion. There’s nothing like the smell of jet fuel in the morning.
Tony moves up to Nicole's ear and whispers, "Sydney... Nicole... darling... we both know that she's not your daughter." Nicole's jaw hits the floor.
…and Tony will be dead before he can tell anyone else. That’s the sort of plot twist we can expect from the writers to keep the storyline moving at the speed of a landlocked tortoise. Geez! Oh, yes, this is the same group of writers that wants us to believe someone supposedly as clever as Melanie would accept $10,000 for the fuel project. Double geez!
anonymous #1, nobody is ever around their kids in Salem.
Ask Hope Brady.
I actually think this one will be one to watch. sounds like a good one for a change. Thanks Prevuze, c.
Melanie meets Tony at the DiMera mansion door. She tells him she needs more money.
Have to agree with Leslie, how the hell is she running out that much money that quickly. Doesn't she live for free like most of the Salemites.
The real you wouldn't look at that kid. You act weird when Sydney's around."
lol... wut? There are people I dislike intensely yet still have no problem being liking their children.
Stephanie rants about Victor being so hard on Phillip.
Yeah. Mean 'ol Victor. Holding Philip to the expectations of the job he pretty mmuch begged for. Jerk, is what he is.
Tony softens, "You have a lovely face. The greed in your eyes ruins your smile."
Damn, just when I'm starting to like Tony.
Stephanie is skeptical, "Do not trust her."
Ugh... Stephanie, who betrayed Max and then was betrayed by Philip but seemingly forgot, is talking about who to trust? Blegh.
Mia tells Tony she gave her baby away. Tony asks, "Did you have a daughter as well."
Tony asks, "Why?"
He wonders if Nicole helped her find a mother for her child.
"Oh, Nicole... you have been a very naughty girl."
Poor Tony. They gave him credible abilities and are now getting rid of him? Boo!
Will wanders around it and rants about his parents. He finds Mia sitting on the Steps crying.
*sigh* Well hopefully this storyline will be decent. And hopefully Will isn't Grace's father.
I'll watch this episode only for Tony. Melanie whining has been grating on my nerves.
Melanie figures Tony has something in common with EJ, "You're both liars."
No, honey. They just can spot a clueless idiot from a mile away.
Max blows sky high and tells her to get down there with the blueprints.
HUH?! They aren’t Max’s blueprints. What’s he so hot & bothered about?
Apparently, Tony lives next door to O'Hare Airport.
Nah – Mel just used the handy-dandy O’Hare transporter instead of renting a car. Don’t know why she just didn’t fly straight into Salem. All the other international flights do.
Phillip says, "This isn't about trust. This is about bad dialogue." No kidding, LOLOL
Bad dialog aside, parts of this show might be worth watching.
LOL at Chloe's lack of sleep, Hope's conjugal visit, and what a sweet St. Pat's Day toast. The Payla crowd should be pleased.
May the luck of the Irish bless Prevuze and all it's followers!
Not to offend any attorneys reading Prevuze but I'm still chuckling over "My lawyer dictated this over the phone for me. Now my $10,000 is gone." HAHAHAHAHA Ain't that the truth!!?
I'm with Will. Sami being at the christening makes no sense other than she can be there if and when the big baby reveal happens.
Poor Thaao. I imagine it's hard to act out a storyline knowing it's going to end with your demise.
Loved the poor cuckold and wife and "Tony DiMera get your ass down here right now! TONY! TONY! TONY! STELLA! PREVUZE!
Begorrah! Thanks Prevuze.
Tony moves up to Nicole's ear and whispers, "Sydney... Nicole... darling... we both know that she's not your daughter." Nicole's jaw hits the floor.
Please don't let that have been just a fantasy. It would be so typical--we can't possibly have a storyline move at a decent pace--but it would be good if this time they actually had some forward momentum instead of taunting us for half a year.
...it would be good if this time they actually had some forward momentum
Alas, heather, as a long-time viewer here is my guess:
Nicole will freak because Tony knows and continue to unravel. Tony, for reasons known only to the DOOL writers and to drag this out forever, won't tell anyone else yet. Perhaps he tries to blackmail Nicole for something.
Before any truth can surface, Tony is "killed". (I qualify that since no one ever really dies on DOOL.) There will be several suspects -
* Nicole who is afraid he'll spill her secret,
* Stefano who vows revenge on a disloyal family member for getting the fuel project,
* Philip who is out to get the fuel project back and has vowed to destroy the Dimeras,
* Brady who is Nicole's "protector". Am I forgetting anyone?
The real killer will be some unknown of course.
The real killer will be some unknown of course.
Or Nick. :D
Thanks for the Steve and Kayla toast. I hope He is reading Prevuze today
Wordy McWord and Hear Hear to the Steve and Kayla toast! I am missing them. Heck, I have been missing Steve for months.
Thanks
Thanks for the Steve and Kayla pic! It was great seeing them on my screen, even if it was only a pic.
