Dress Up, Look Hot, And Put Out
Max overhears Cordy tell Stephanie to tell someone. Cordy insists she's OK and leaves.
Max and Stephanie talk about her finding Cordy. Stephanie tells him Cordy was stressed and wanted to tell Billie about Decker, so she ran off. Max confirms Cordy didn't say anything to Billie. They hem and haw. Max asks if Stephanie will be OK.
Phillip and Kate wait for the assistant DA. Kate flashes back to Phillip trying to encourage her and telling her to be careful what she says in front of Roman. Jen, the assistant DA, comes in with best regards from the DA. She says since Kate and Phillip have agreed to cooperate the DA will offer a plea deal.
Hope is with Marlena. Marlena is cleaning out some of John's stuff. Hope comforts. Marlena reminds her she has been arrested for attempted murder. She thinks Stefano needs to be stopped. Hope asks what that means. Marlena says, "When I left Belle's wedding I went straight to Stefano. I told him one day I was going to kill him. It was a lot less boring than staying at Belle's wedding. And as God is my witness, I will do that."
God steps in, "If I am your witness, I will testify against you."
Senor Chavez is impatient. He doesn't like it when people make him stand around cooling his heels. Stefano comes in and apologizes for being a bit tardy. Senor Chavez is bombastic, "You are talking to a president! The leader of a country! You think you can treat a man of my stature with such disrespect?" Stefano reminds his old friend Alessandro the DiMeras made his family wealthy and powerful and wonders where he would be without the DiMeras. Stefano wants his gratitude, not his rage, "An old enemy has resurfaced. I want you and your army to make sure this enemy disappears."
Alessandro thinks it over, "My entire army against one person. Hmmm... at least the odds seem fair."
Stephanie tells Max her conversation with Cordy was private. Max says he overheard Cordy ask Stephanie to tell someone, but Stephanie insists it's no big deal. Since it just happened minutes ago, you probably can't remember it, so we flashback to the conversation between Cordy and Stephanie. Stephanie starts to leave but Max stops her. He presses and says he thinks there is more to this, "Where is the girl that jumped out of an airplane with me and helped with Ford Decker and danced at the Cheatin' Heart?"
"Big deal," she snaps, "We did some things together and danced and I'm supposed to fall into your arms. Sorry I didn't get a copy of your playbook." He starts to leave but she stops him and says there is more she has to tell. Isn't there always?
Phillip runs through a litany of Kate's good deeds. After that two-second scene is over, Jen says the offer is non-negotiable. The DA will drop the attempted murder charge and instead charge Kate with making terrorist threats. Kate won't do much prison time – only about eighteen months. Kate has a conniption, "I'm not going to prison! And how can you say I'm a terrorist? "
"You're helping to keep DOOL on the air, aren't you," asks Jen.
Hope tells Marlena she hopes Stefano doesn't come after her. "I hope to God he does," says Marlena.
God steps back in, "Will you please leave me out of this?" The girls get back to packing.
Stephanie and Max sit down at the bar. Stephanie says she's just been feeling on the edge, spaced out. Max takes her hand and asks if she wants to talk. She yanks her hand away. Hold hands, no. Talk, you bet. Stephanie tells him about Cordy and the pills. She thinks Cordy's OK now, though. They are interrupted as Stephanie gets a text from Cordy saying she got home safely. Max says Cordy pulled through because of Stephanie. He's proud of her. "Yeah," she says, "I'm Wonder Woman. And you're a lot of fun but, at the end of the day, you're just another guy looking to get laid."
"That's not true," says Max, "I don't see any reason to wait until the end of the day."
Kate rages. She doesn't want to go to prison. Phillip steps in as Kate apologizes for the outburst. Jen says, "With good behavior, you could be out in as little as three months."
"Good behavior," says Phillip, "So I guess she'll have to do the entire eighteen months, then." He thanks her for stopping by and says he declines the offer. Jen presses and says Kate could get at least seven years if she fights this. "Sorry," says Phillip, "No deal."
Marlena and Hope continue packing. Marlena is going to take the clothes to the Midnight Mission, "They have a plaque on the wall that bears John's name."
"What did he do to deserve that," asks Hope.
"Money talks," says Marlena, "It also buys plaques."
Marlena didn't mind the fact John had no past when he was alive, but all the time they had together seems like only five minutes now. Hope tries to comfort. Marlena says when John was in the coma he came to her in dreams. He's not in her dreams anymore.
Stefano shows Alessandro the threatening notes. He thinks the person who wrote them is hiding in Alessandro's country. Stefano wants results. He wants Alessandro to lead him to this woman.
"I am not your personal servant," huffs Alessandro.
Stefano flings his glass down to the floor and it smashes to smithereens, "You are what I say you are! If you don't cooperate I will shut down the mines and watch your people sweep you away."
Alessandro chuckles. He claims it was all a joke. For an old friend he would do anything. Stefano wants a complete dossier on the woman and wants him to find her or be prepared to suffer extreme consequences, "You can go now." President Chavez and his entourage leave.
Max asks, "Do you think that's why I came back around? To get laid?" He thinks to himself, "Damn! She can see right through me." He reminds her he committed a crime for her.
"I guess heroes expect a show of appreciation," says Stephanie. She asks if he has ever been just friends with a girl. Max says he thought they were friends. Stephanie rants about what a real hero is like, "A real hero is a better man than you or Jeremy ever will be."
Max gets on his high horse, "Don't you ever compare me to Jeremy."
Marlena talks about her grief. Hope reassures her. Marlena picks up one final bag and looks inside. She gasps.
"What is it," asks the ever-curious Hope.
"It's the rest of the leftover turkey sandwich I had right after Thanksgiving," says Marlena, "And it's also the clothes John was wearing the night of the accident." Hope says she will take care of them. Then she finds an envelope, "What's this?"
Jen snorts, "See you in court Ms. Roberts." She starts to go but Phillip asks about Marlena. Jen says she isn't at liberty to discuss that. Phillip says his lawyers have dug up emails between the DA and Roman. He shows them to her. They make it clear Roman is making a back door deal to get the charges dropped. Kate says it looks like someone isn't playing straight. Phillip threatens to leak the emails. These facts would destroy her case against Kate. He suggests she try to find some wiggle room in the plea bargain.
Max rants about Stephanie's comparison to Jeremy. Stephanie brings up the way Max plays girls, "What's wrong with us? We're supposed to dress up, look hot and put out." She talks about fixing up Cordy before her date with Ford, "Everything screamed 'come and get it' and that's exactly what Ford did."
Max claims that's not his fault or hers. He apologizes for getting her upset, "And the friends thing, if that's what you want, that's how it will be."
Suddenly, Jen is changing her tune. She says the DA might be open to an amended plea bargain, "Felony gun possession, five years probation and no prison time." That's not good enough for Phillip. He wants a misdemeanor weapons charge, "What if Ms. Roberts can offer something in return for the DA's leniency?"
Jen asks, "Such as?"
Phillip says, "Stefano DiMera." Kate's eyes widen to the size of pizza pans.
Rolf wonders who the woman is. "A she-devil," says Stefano, "She has made my life a living hell."
"Who is she?" Inquiring minds want to know.
Stefano evades and says she has the power to ruin him. Rolf reminds him of his secret, "He is in the lab recuperating." Stefano wants to see. They head for the laboooooratory.
Max says he hasn't been the right kind of friend. He tells her he advised Nick on women tonight, so maybe he should be taking advice from Nick, "Like telling a certain woman how I feel."
Kate says giving up Stefano would be suicide. She would rather serve time than rat him out. Phillip jumps in, "She has known Stefano for years in several capacities. Eliminate the charges and she will cooperate."
Jen asks, "Would Ms. Roberts be willing to wear a wire?"
Kate grumbles, "Ms. Roberts would rather burn in hell."
"Once again, God steps into the picture, "That has already been arranged."
They enter Rolf's laboooooratory. He says it's still too early to judge his work, but it is done. Stefano stares.
The letter Hope found is addressed to John. They can't tell what the postmark says, but the stamps look Spanish. Hope, who can't resist prying into anyone's business, pulls out the contents and sees a picture of a little boy. The top half of the picture is ripped off, so the face of the woman with the boy is gone. On the back, it says, "It's a picture of you and me – mama."
Marlena gasps, "Mama!"
Max says he came there to tell Stephanie what was going on with him. He runs through his history with girls, alluding to Mimi, then talking about Abby, and how they both left town on him, "I guess I should make sure the girl I'm interested in isn't headed somewhere else. So... I'd like to ask you something... Are you planning on sticking around or headed somewhere else."
"If they find Ford's body, I'm planning a trip to Salem Penitentiary."
Kate rants, "Wear a wire, jump into a shark tank, what's the difference. No – absolutely no." Phillip encourages her to take the deal. Jen says she needs an answer. Phillip knows Jen could also offer Marlena a similar package, "Isn't that this point of this game of cat and mouse?"
Marlena and Hope speculate about the picture. Marlena decides she has to find "Mama."
Stefano asks to be alone with the patient. Rolf leaves. Stefano talks to the patient, "Every life has a purpose, and it is time for you to realize yours. The DiMera name goes back centuries. Our ancestors include kings and popes. Or it did include them, until our fall from grace, but my father restored us to greatness. I have no intention to watch us fall again and no one, especially a woman, will take it away. Do you understand?"
Stephanie gives Max both barrels, "You're hot for me one minute and drooling over Morgan the next." Max says he told Morgan tonight they aren't going anywhere. Stephanie snorts, "That would interest me – why?"
"You're not gonna cut me any slack are you," asks Max. He kisses her.
Stephanie bolts. She runs out screaming, "I can't do this!" Max vows to use more breath freshener.
Kate says she has no choice. She agrees to the deal. Jen says she will be in touch and leaves. Kate says she is worried about the position Phillip has put her in. Phillip says if they want her to wear a wire he'll make sure she's not around to cooperate. She compares him to Victor, which he considers a compliment. Kate throws in a little something extra, "I hope you can help Lucas, too."
"It's never enough is it, mother," he asks. She asks him to promise to help Lucas. He does. Kate thanks him and leaves.
Hope says it won't be easy and reminds her the woman's face next to John has been cut off. Marlena says it doesn't mater. Now she gets to find out about the John Black she never knew. She vows to find her and see what she knows about John.
Stefano continues talking to the experiment, "You will be my greatest soldier. In the name of everything sacred or profane I will destroy my enemy and anyone who tries to stop me will feel the wrath of the DiMeras!"

Thank you!...long time reader...first time commentor...what IS in Rooollffss' laboooooratory?...hmm...gee wonder...are we ever going to get away from the V word and that Colleen whatsherface?
Yep...I'd recognize Colleen's knee caps anywhere. Never woulda seen that comin'...no sirree....
are we ever going to get away from the V word and that Colleen whatsherface?
Maybe not, but at least we've moved from "folio" to "dossier."
One, how do they know the kid in the picture is John? And two, don't we know who John's mother is? He and Laurence Alamein shared a mom, n'est pas?
Anyway, a few of my favorites from today: the jack-in-the-box picture, Marykay's separated at birth, Hope barging into Payla's romantic evening, and, of course, the labooooooratory.
My "Now There's A Laugh" prize goes to Phillip runs through a litany of Kate's good deeds. After that two-second scene is over,,,,,Prevuze' comment aside, Phil would have had to make stuff up to actually come up with two seconds worth of Kate’s “good deeds”. LOLOL
Prevuze, you continue to amaze. Today may have been even better than yesterday! God's commentary, needing a flashback of a "minutes old" conversation, two seconds' worth of Kate's good deeds and her "good behavior", Hope not being able to resist prying, and poor Max not needing to wait till the end of the day, Steph seeing right through him, and using more breath freshener -- as they say in the commercial, "Priceless!!!" And I loved the Payla pic, and Bulldog and Mary Kay's pics -- Lucas' package and "Separated at Birth" had me giggling to myself so much I had tears in my eyes!
Prevuze is sooooo much more entertaining than the actual show, I have to FORCE myself to watch it now. But when I DO watch it, I keep remembering all the Prevuze-isms and that makes it more tolerable!
OK guys, gonna go out on a limb here with a theory. Those of you who are newer DOOL viewers will need to go to
Beth's Days of Our Lives Page (here's a link) http://www.bethsdayspage.com/days/index.html
And do some reading to understand.
You older viewers stay with me on this one.
John was adopted by the Alamain family and raised as Forest.
At one time he thought they were his real parents but that proved to not be true.
I think his real mother was Vivian Alamain, even though it was never talked about. The picture is of John and Vivian. John must have known Vivian was his mother up until Stefano erased his memory.
Now Stefano has killed John (for real) and Vivian is back to exact her revenge.
The "soldier" in the basement is Andre (it was on Thaao Penghlis's blog that he is NOT leaving DOOL).
My reason for this theory is simple. It lends itself to MANY MANY MANY flashbacks to catch DOOL viewers up on who Vivian is.
And as we all know, flashbacks extend scripts. The writers also know this, so they wrote the SL this way to get as many scripts stockpiled as they could before the strike.
Should the strike end, great, they can scrap the leftover stockpile and just take the SL in whatever direction they want. But by bringing back Vivian they can keep viewers in "flashback limbo" for months if need be. They could even show ENTIRE EPISODES of flashbacks if need be.
Trust me on this one. As much as we want "mama" to be Colleen. It's not. It's Vivian.
Awesome deb! I never wanted John's mom to be Colleen, never ever!
It would be most excellent to have Vivian back!
Plus, she was a good villianess, wouldn't mind the flashbacks of something that happened yesrs ago, instead of days ago.
Deb --
Love your theory re Vivian. That would also explain the lavish funerial trappings that she paid for when John died. I can't see an aunt getting that extravagant, but a mother -- now THAT's a horse of a different color.
The only part of your theory I don't agree with is that I don't think the "soldier" is Andre. I still hold out that it is Tek -- perhaps "surgically altered" to LOOK like Andre. Or Tony. Or ... well, you need a scorecard. Tek was fairly light-skinned, and Andre had that swarthy Mediterranean complexion -- and thanks to Michael Jackson, we all know skin can be lightened ... Stefano probably removed both Lexie and Tek from the accident scene, and since Tek can ID Elvis as John's shooter, he would need to be brainwashed to do the DiMera bidding.
But I agree that John was not the Santeen child -- I think that is going to turn out to be the actress that we all thought was going to be TWIB before Marlena confessed to being her. I can't remember the actress' name -- help?
"My reason for this theory is simple. It lends itself to MANY MANY MANY flashbacks to catch DOOL viewers up on who Vivian is.

I'm missing somethign. Why would the writers write it that way to stockpile scripts when they are going on strike and know tptb wouldn't be hurting as much if they had scripts stockpiled?
Stefano evades and says she has the power to ruin him. Rolf reminds him of his secret, "He is in the lab recuperating." Stefano wants to see. They head for the laboooooratory.
Rolf offers an explanation of his work.
I was working in the lab late one night
When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
For my monster from his slab began to rise
And suddenly to my surprise
He did the mash
He did the monster mash
The monster mash
It was a graveyard smash
He did the mash
It caught on in a flash
He did the mash
He did the monster mash
From my laboratory in the castle east
To the master bedroom where the vampires feast
The ghouls all came from their humble abodes
To get a jolt from my electrodes
The zombies were having fun
The party had just begun
The guests included Wolf Man
Dracula and his son
The scene was rockin', all were digging the sounds
Igor on chains, backed by his baying hounds
The coffin-bangers were about to arrive
With their vocal group, "The Crypt-Kicker Five"
Out from his coffin, Drac's voice did ring
Seems he was troubled by just one thing
He opened the lid and shook his fist
And said, "Whatever happened to my Transylvania twist?"
Now everything's cool, Drac's a part of the band
And my monster mash is the hit of the land
For you, the living, this mash was meant too
When you get to my door, tell them Boris sent you
I’m getting a sick feeling that Rolf’s monster is John, and the woman on the run is Colleen. How convenient that Hope finds the picture in John’s clothes. Now, if Mama’s knees belong to Colleen, this could take DOOL to a whole new level of insanity. John would be a DiMera and Stefano’s half brother to boot. Just how wacky and annoying would that be?
I bet Kate would wear that wire if it was made of gold and diamonds. Since Phillip got her in this mess, he ought to pulling every string to keep her out of the crow bar hotel. Unlike Lucas the doofus, Phillip at least has the means to help her out.
Does anyone really care about Stephanie and Max? I didn’t think so.
Everything was soooo hilarious today:
God steps in, "If I am your witness, I will testify against you." Hope tells Marlena she hopes Stefano doesn't come after her. "I hope to God he does," says Marlena. God steps back in, "Will you please leave me out of this?"
Kate grumbles, "Ms. Roberts would rather burn in hell."
"Once again, God steps into the picture, "That has already been arranged."
Alessandro thinks it over, "My entire army against one person. Hmmm... at least the odds seem fair."
Since it just happened minutes ago, you probably can't remember it, so we flashback to the conversation between Cordy and Stephanie…She yanks her hand away. Hold hands, no. Talk, you bet…If they find Ford's body, I'm planning a trip to Salem Penitentiary." …Stephanie bolts. She runs out screaming, "I can't do this!" Max vows to use more breath freshener.
Picture of Chelsea showing Nick “everything”.
Picture of “Ms. Roberts’ offering”.
Rolf's laboooooratory.
And, why is Stephanie all of the sudden so pi$$ed at Max???
I am actually enjoying the whole Kate/Phillip storyline! I have said for a long time - Kate needed to be involved in a storyline OTHER than hunting down Sami... And finally KUDO to the writers for giving ONE man in Salem a pair of ****. Phillip is stepping up and playing hardball (even if it's in a negative way!). We are so used to seeing the men of Salem CAVE IN to their woman counter parts... Bo/Hope, Roman/Marlena, Roman/Kate, Shawn/Belle, Nick/Chelsea, and even now with Stef pushing Max away, etc...
I would LOVE to see John being the the son of Colleen, but I don't think the age would match up (oh, heck when has that ever stopped the writers?), Although, I have to admit I love the thought of bringing Viv back... as long as it's the same actress. She and Kate - would make great cell mates!!!! LOL!!! What was her 'personal assistant's' name???
Loving 'Days' these past few weeks... maybe it has something to do with the writer's strike... Whatever it is - they need to keep it the same way!
Thanks Prevuze. You make us all laugh!!!!
Viv's PA was Ivan (pronouced eye - VON). And they were both great. I hope Deb's not only right, but also that it's the same actors. And also I think Vivian and Ivan got married. Vivian lost everything when she lost Victor and Ivan won some huge lottery jackpot and asked "Madame" to marry him/let him take care of her and they left waving out of the sunroof of a limo. (Ahh, memories. That was when Days was Wonderful. Or that I was just a kid and couldn't appreciate it quite like I do now.)
To: I don't get it:
The bone of contention for the writer's strike is compensation for full length episodes shown online.
Networks such as CBS offer full length episodes for a fee. And other places like You Tube have them for free.
The writers (justifiably so) feel they should be compensated by receiving royalties from sources that charge, and blocking sources that don't.
There are writers who, although they are on strike, don't want to hurt their bosses. Soaps get re-broadcast on Soapnet and sometimes you can find them on You Tube, but by and large it's shows like 24 and Heroes that garner the most from people wanting to watch an episode they missed.
As we all know, you can miss an episode (or TEN) of DOOL and still know what's going on.
The DOOL writers, want jobs to come back to. If DOOL ceases to exist it's not something that can just be put into reruns.
By the same token soap writers are VERY replaceable. If they make TPTB happy by leaving a nice stockpile of scripts to carry the show through the strike, they are more likely to have jobs to come back to when it's all over.
Oh, and for the stockpile question--while on one hand it would be at odds with the strike, I'm sure the writers want to return to their jobs at some point and this might have been one way to do it. And it also helps ensure at least some others have jobs if the story keeps moving...even if it's not everyone. Who knows?

Viv's "personal assistant" was named Ivan (pronounced "ee-VAHN". I had forgotten about him. Maybe he could take up the slack left by poor old Bart.
I just had to throw my two-cents worth in on the "Who Shot EJR?" question. I know it's been said, but I'm thinking more and more that Will probably WAS the one who actually shot EJ. It all kind of fits: While Lucas is tending to the twins, Will sneaks out with Lucas' gun and pumps some lead into Junior. He gets scared, hightails it home and tells Lucas what he did. Lucas locks the gun back up, hires a nurse to come over and watch the twins, and takes Will to a safe place to hide for the moment. Then he returns, mails the gun to himself, and hurriedly sends Will off to "visit" with Carrie and Austin, who are (conveniently) in Switzerland, a country that will not extradite criminals back to countries that employ the death penalty. That explains why Lucas didn't want to give Sami a chance to say goodbye to Will before he left. All of Lucas' frenzy and denial and vagueness are just his attempts to cover for his son. Of course, all this makes WAY too much sense, which is why probably NONE of it is true ...
Oh, and BTW Prevuze -- I just wonder what kind of Google hits you're going to get with TODAY's title!!!!
Cfish- I like your theory about Will. How about this one. The soldier in the labooooratory is Will. Farfetched, I know, but why not.
Max can't stay with one chick for very long. He has CAD--Chick Attention Deficit. He can start his own support group called CADS.
Cfish, I also think the shooter could be Will.
I'll give Max the same advice I gave Nick - get out while you can, man! Neither of those two messed up women are worth the effort.
It's great that Pard's kid glove treatment of Marlena is going to help get Kate off the hook. HA
I loved Hope butting in, the forbidden link and the separated at birth pictures. Can't wait for tomorrow's Prevuze!!
What does TPTB stand for? I can usually figure out these anagrams, but this one has had me stumped for a while! (as I read everyday and see this one, I just tell myself it stands for "the producers that be"!) Thanks!

Close!! It stands for "The Powers That Be".
I know I keep getting caught up in the perpetual 'timeline' thing, but if Vivian is John's mother, was she 12 when she had him? John had to been close to 50 when he died (I only say this because Brady and Bell are both in their early to late 20's) and John wasnt 20 when either of them were born. Vivian was the one who carried Phillip (pregnancy) when Kate was married to victor. (remember, another mix up at the lab) Vivian was an older lady then, but if John was close to 50, that would make Vivian in her mid to late 60's. What would be so exciting about that? Vivian was a bafoon. Her story lines, much like Jack Deveruex were always silly. I would hope they would try for just a snippet of substance here.
Trust me on this one. As much as we want "mama" to be Colleen. It's not. It's Vivian.
Deb: I so hope you are correct on this one. TPTB keep talking about another twist to the Santeen story so it’s a little scary to contemplate what they have on their minds. If John turns out to be Santeen’s love child, I think that I will probably heave a chair at the TV.
"Vivian was an older lady then, but if John was close to 50, that would make Vivian in her mid to late 60's. What would be so exciting about that? Vivian was a bafoon. Her story lines, much like Jack Deveruex were always silly."
What would be so exciting about that would be if Louise Sorel came back to play her again. And as for "silly" storylines, I think everyone on this soap (save, perhaps, Frances Reid as Alice Horton) has had a "silly" storyline or two (or ten) to deal with (and even Alice had a son come back from the dead with a brand new face, as I recall). And as for Vivian being a "buffoon" -- well, that part is just plain not true. NOBODY is a better evil, scheming, conniving witch than Vivian, Erica Kane on AMC included. The fact that in amongst all the scheming and conniving her character could be used for some much-needed comic relief at times is a tribute to the talent of Ms. Sorel. I sorely do hope that TPTB bring Vivian back, but only if she's played by Louise Sorel.
I have now stepped down off my soapbox. Sorry.
If John turns out to be Santeen’s love child, I think that I will probably heave a chair at the TV.
Please tell me you don't have something like a 46" Sony LCD 1080P Bravia. Now THAT would make me cry.
Oh, and BTW Prevuze -- I just wonder what kind of Google hits you're going to get with TODAY's title!!!!
I went out and looked for some good juicy searches based on that title but didn't have any luck. During the day, finding a search like that is like looking for a needle in a haystack next to all the searches for "days of our lives" and "prevuze." I'll try to remember to check early tomorrow to see if anything came in during the night.
Please tell me you don't have something like a 46" Sony LCD 1080P Bravia. Now THAT would make me cry.
No need for tears. It’s one of those 32” sets with a huge tube and weighs a ton. It was a floor model at Circuit City for which I shelled out $300 a couple of years ago. Circuit City was probably wondering how they were going to get rid of it. The TV isn’t far from my rotary dial phone so now I have shared all my low tech secrets.
Since when did Phillip become a lawyer? He's now plea bargaining with the District Attorney's Office on his mother's behalf?

Has anyone else besides me heard that Patch may have a kid out there that he doesn't know about? Given his history, the kid could be anywhere from about 1 (if it's Della's kid in Cincinnati) to 35 (from before he was in Salem). I'm thinking that's what this big push for Payla to have a kid is all about -- or, maybe if the kid is from his LOOOOONG ago past (like maybe Britta Englund or Marina Toscano), the Patchman Jr. could be the mysterious "patient" of Dr. Rolf ...
I for one hope that John is the love child of Colleen and Santo. IMO it would explain Stefano's obsession of him and why he would turn him into the greatest soldier evah!
Plus, he would be related to the Brady's again.
Thanks Prevuze for a good laugh!
I flove the theory that Vivian Alamain is the "Vengeful" Woman that has Stefano soaking his Depends, is very interesting. I belive it was established that Vivian was John's birth mother. But for the moray of the time, gave the child for her Sister and Brother-in-Law to raise. I would love to see "Auntie Viv" and Ivan return to Salem. But I'm also thinking that "prized" Solder of Stefano's is John Black in the Laboratory. Anyone remember how Steffi was praising John's skills as a obedient, skilled Mercenary. Just after the Accident?
Hope Brady use to be cool. Now she's a annoying, Hypocritical Crab. And Belle just sits there, soaking all the insults in. Where is that Girl's backbone?! I find it hard to believe she is even related to Samantha... or Marlena.
Re Anon's Post: "... but if Vivian is John's mother, was she 12 when she had him? John had to been close to 50 when he died (I only say this because Brady and Bell are both in their early to late 20's)..."
SORA syndrome strikes confusion again!
OMG, still laughing at the seperated at birth pix, they were the best ones yet. Agree with a lot of you, I would love to see Viv and Ivan return. Louise Sorel rocks...she did kinda go overboard for Squints funeral. Prevuze and contributors, you guys are the best!!
Cookie
Whew! I haven't had a chance to check the comments since I left mine early this morning. You guys have been busy! LOL
I've always thought that Will was the shooter. I don't think the "experiment" is John.
I'd love to have Viv & Ivan back, but it doesn't quite fit with Stephano's description of the mystery woman as his long-time nemesis.
Didn't Viv have a short "thing" with Stephano once? I know she and Ivan hid out in one of Stephano's houses she thought belonged to "Jonesy" who turned out just to be a caretaker of the place for Stephano. When Stephano eventually returned I recall Vivian was petrified. Not much of a "nemesis".
Enjoy all the theories and speculation!
Is Philip suddenly a LAWYER? Why is he representing Kate and just referring to "their lawyers"? Could none of "their lawyers" make the meeting? Did Philip go to law school during a commercial?
Raise your hand if you don't already know that Stephano's "experiment" is either JOHN or someone related to JOHN? Maybe Stephano has turned John back into a soldier or the "experiment" is the little boy in the picture?
Why is DOOL so PREDICTIBLE??
Also, doesn't the Sami, EJ, Lucas storyline remind you of the Teresa, Ethan, Gwen storyine? A woman is forced to lie and abandon her "true love" to protect her family? Now there even copying storylines at the same time! At least DOOL solved Jonny's paternity in a week...Little Ethan is how old??
Thats probably why DOOL is still on the air for like 50+ years and Passions has been cancelled for the 2nd time.
I don't know if this has been commented on but:
If John is Coleen son then that means that Belle and Shawn are BLOOD RELATIVES (it would make John and Bo cousins and Belle and Shawn 2nd cousins or something)and Claire would be a product of incest. She'd be her own 3rd cousin!
I don't think DOOL writers would be as sick at the ones over at Passions to have relatives reproduce.
Therefore, I think its makes much more sense that Vivian is John's mama.
.....OH WAIT!
I forgot...Bo is not Shawn Sr.'s BLOOD son. He's the product of a Caroline and Victor affair....
So, the Colleen being John's mama is back on the table......
Also, I think that they are going to definately bring a child or young adult into the picture and eventually out it as Steve's kid. Its totally plausible that Steve has another kid out there! He was gone for 16 years! Wouldn't it be great if it was one of Stephanie's sorority sisters? Maybe Morgan? She IS blonde. What a great set-up for a Stephanie, Max, Morgan storyline.
And btw Prevuze...I am STILL laughing at SuperShawn whirling and twirling. Its gonna take something really great to top that one!
I love Phil when he isn't crazy, stuck in typhoons. I, too, always thought the shooter was Will, it seemed to fit a lot better than anyone else.
He had access to the gun, the reason, and he decides to head off for the great neutral country out of nowhere.
Yep...I'd recognize Colleen's knee caps anywhere.
Haha, I felt the same way as soon as I saw that picture.
