That Barn Bred Little Hick
Clhoe is in labor, but crack nurse Melanie insists she's not falling for it. "This baby is coming NOW," yells Chloe.
Phillip offers to do the honors to open the sarcophagus.
Vivian in the other room tells him to stop.
Stefano learns EJ has men dragging the sewers for clues, and for the next delivery to the pub for lunch. Stefano wonders what if it turns out Samantha isn't the one who shot EJ.
The aforementioned Samantha cleans the Hernandez Hovel as Rafe comes out and announces Johnny is asleep, "He's upset about my sister. He's a good kid. I love him... and you... I don't know what I'd do without you."
"I am (say it with her) here for you," says Sami, "I am (say it with her) here for you always." She vows Rafe will never lose her. If he does, with his skills as a sleuth, he'll never be able to find her, that's for sure.
Nicole watches Sami's confession and gasps, "What the hell am I supposed to do with this?"
EJ insists Sami shot him, he will prove it and get his kids back. Stefano says he's frustrated and wants results, "Time keeps moving on. Pretty soon the past will be in the future. It's time for Plan B. Let Prevuze have that stupid Plan 9 from outer space."
Nicole continues to watch the big confession, "Sami put a bullet in EJ's brain. How could she do that when the bullet was bigger than the brain?"
Chloe is either in labor or totally overacting. Melanie Layton Kiriakis, RN, denies it could be labor. Daniel calls and she tells him she's at the island. "My water broke," yells Chloe.
"Water can't break unless it's ice," says Nurse Melanie.
Vivian begs Victor not to open the lid as Maggie wonders what's going on. Victor thinks Vivian's being weird. With Vivian I don't see how he can tell. Victor tells her goodbye and tells Phillip Vivian doesn't want to see him because she's "not at her best." They leave to get a drink as Maggie wails.
Sami tells Rafe she doesn't deserve him. I don't know, she's led a pretty bad life, I think she got what she deserved. That calls for a suggestion to get married. Rafe is rarin' to go and, hey, Arianna is soooo yesterday. Sami is worried about what might happen, but the Rafester is in control.
Brady walks in on Nicole who tells him she was just looking through Arianna's things. Rafe calls and asks if Brady has seen Arianna's things. He says not much to report as Nicole stuffs the video recorder into her purse. Rafe asks about a camera Arianna had, but Brady tells him it's not in there.
Gus consoles distraught Vivian about the way Victor was talking to her. "That barnbred little hick Maggie will suffer," says Vivian. She calls Maggie and taunts.
Brady asks if Rafe wants to come by and look through Arianna's things. Rafe hangs up and tells Sami there was no camera. Sami is relieved and sorry Rafe had to do that. "I would do anything for you," says P.W. Hernandez.
Brady tells Nicole Rafe was only interested in the camera, "I have a hunch it contains the reason Arianna died."
"Really," says Nicole, "Wow. If you had that proof what would you do with it?" Brady notes it was Arianna's dying wish he get his kids back. He says if Sami shot him he wouldn't blame her a bit.
Stefano thinks it's for the best he not reveal plan B to EJ. He asks if EJ is willing to do whatever it takes to get his kids back.
Melanie finally gets it and announces Chloe is in labor, and the keys to the boat are gone, "I can't deliver this baby."
"Yes you can," says Daniel, "But you won't have to. The average labor is 20 hours."
Chloe overhears, "TWENTY HOURS. TO HECK WITH THAT $%*@#!"
Melanie tries to comfort her.
Phillip arrives for the board meeting and Daniel tells him Chloe is in labor. Phillip tells him to meet him at the pier for a boat ride.
Brady finds a necklace he gave Arianna and reminds Nicole he had planned to marry Arianna. Victor walks in and tells Nicole to take a hike. She leaves and Victor says they will no longer have any contact with the "wicked witch of the graveyard."
Maggie insists people will worry about her. Vivian disagrees and says people will think she went on her cruse. Maggie cries and frets.
EJ tells Stefano to back off, "I'm handling things."
"Not Sami's 'things,'" says Stefano. He says if he stays out of it EJ's kids will grow up calling Rafe 'daddy.'
Rafe and Sami cuddle on the couch. Rafe insists, "I have to focus on you."
"Focusing," asks Sami, "Is that what you call it when you're on me?"
Rafe refuses to let Sami blame herself for the shooting, "You snapped. What rational person wouldn't have done that?" Sami reminds him she's not rational.
Nicole is outside the pub, sees a woman with her kid and remembers moments with Sydney. She pulls out the recorder, "If I could get a second chance with Brady... why not Sydney?"
Phillip and Daniel wait for the boat at the pier and hope the baby doesn't arrive before them.
Chloe says this isn't the way she imagined it, "I WANTED DRUGS!" Melanie tells her to relax. Oh, right.
Sami worries that someone might find the camera, "You can't protect me from everything."
"I can sure as hell try."
"I want to marry you and spend all the Days Of Our Lives together," says Sami, "but I shot EJ in the head."
"So, you couldn’t have done any damage," says Rafe.
Sami says these kinds of things happen to her all the time. Rafe insists he can handle it. He dives in and handles a couple of other things.
Nicole wonders what will happen if she puts the video on the six o'clock news. In my town a video of that length would be interrupted at least three times with commercials.
Chloe screams. Melanie gets blankets and grimaces, "If we're going to do this I have to take a look at what's going on 'down there.' She peeks and calls Daniel, "The baby is coming now, dad."
Victor doesn't want Brady blaming himself for Arianna's death. He also says Vivian is his responsibility, but gets a call, "Aw, damn. Keep me informed." He hangs up and tells Brady they have another crisis to worry about.
Sami and Rafe aren't in a crisis. Heat is more like what they're in.
Marco brings EJ a compact. EJ thinks it's useless as evidence and sends Marco back into the fray. Stefano tells him to get a grip. EJ refuses to let Stefano take care of things.
Well, speaking of taking care of things, Rafe certainly is. He and Sami are in bed and he assures Sami they're getting married. Sami thinks it's too soon. Rafe reads from the Guy Manual, "Arianna would want it that way."
Victor tells Brady Gus has escaped. They head for the mausoleum.
Vivian tells Maggie she has been planning this for months. Maggie doesn't understand why Vivian would hate her so much. Vivian says she knows Maggie moved in on Victor when she thought Vivian was gone, "When you hear what happens next you'll laugh your little a** off."
"I wish you'd reconsider, but thanks for the compliment about my a**," says Maggie.
Melanie tells Chloe to push. Chloe screams and pushes. "Uh-oh," says Melanie.
"What is it," screams Chloe."
"A baby."
"My job is finished here, Tonto," says the masked man. He kisses Sami goodbye and leaves. Nicole shows up.
Victor and Brady are back. Victor speculates Gus took off for South America and thinks they have nothing to worry about.
Vivian sings "The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out, the worms play pinochle on your snout." Maggie wails.
Vivian tells Gus she can't get her failures out of her mind, "What if Victor finds out you escaped." Gus says he's covered his tracks. "I'm not that excited bout victory over a henna-haired little farm girl. I've sunk so low."
Rafe is with Brady. Brady insists he let Arianna down. Rafe says he did, too.
Marco comes back in to see Stefano and says he was outside and didn't mean to eavesdrop, "Shall I go ahead with that assignment we discussed."
"Absolutely."
EJ stands outside, "I don't know why I didn't think of that before."
Nicole says she's there to see how Sydney is doing. Sami says she can never see her again. Nicole claims she will be a big part of Sydney's life and Sami will make that happen.
Melanie says the umbilical chord is wrapped around the baby's neck. Pushing ensues. "The baby's head is blue," says Melanie.
"What does that mean," asks Chloe.
"The father must've been one of the Blue Men," says Melanie.
Chloe screams, "Is the baby dead?"

I don't care if you have to change the name of the blog from Prevuze to Revuze, please don't go away. Todays post was way too funny to miss.
Arianna would have wanted Rafe and Sami to get married. Sure, that's why she told Rafe about Sami shooting EJ, and told Sami about 800 times in the conversation before her death that she wanted to keep her away from Rafe. Anything to get this contrived, useless pair to the altar, right? And I just love the way that Rafe handles his "grief" over his sister-groping Sami. Oh wait, that's how they handle everything.
Speaking of Chloe...anyone else see her on "Two and a Half Men" on Monday night? pretty funny stuff!
"Sami put a bullet in EJ's brain. How could she do that when the bullet was bigger than the brain?"...almost peed myself laughing so hard at that one!!! Love EJ, but you gotta admit, his brain must be rather minuscule if he's contemplating taking on Sami and her newly unemployed x-FBI boyfriend...Good grief! It should make for a good s/l though, I must admit...it got me watching again.
EJ tells Stefano to back off, "I'm handling things."..."Not Sami's 'things," says Stefano....Ohhhhhh, that's to good for words! Definitely would have qualified for a censored link! Great zinger from Stefy! Although, if he really wanted to help EJ, wouldn't he make sure that he directs his muscle boy Marco to get rid off anyone, EXCEPT Sami...if Sami gets hurt, so will EJ!
"I want to marry you and spend all the Days Of Our Lives together," says Sami, "but I shot EJ in the head."..."So, you couldn’t have done any damage," says Rafe...LMFAO! Loving the EJ snark on today's post!
Here we go again... Nicole's on the way to delusional heaven, wanting a baby that's not hers, never been hers, never will be hers...She's a skank and Brady's a drunk! Not the kind of parents ANY child should be subjected to! And she doesn't give 2 shits about EJ, or the damage she could cause in his life if she gets her claws on Syd. She knows how much both EJ and Sami love that kid. I'm gonna go on a limb and be the Rush Limbaugh of the soap world...I hope SHE FAILS this time around!
Well, DUH!! Who doesn't know what it means if someone's turning blue? I'm sure Melanie will do such a wonderful job she'll probably be head nurse next week.
Anonymous - I missed Chloe on Two and a Half Men but saw her a couple of weeks ago as a neighborhood tart on NCIS.
I got a good snicker over Rafe is rarin' to go and, hey, Arianna is soooo yesterday. Yup, time to move on.
Also In my town a video of that length would be interrupted at least three times with commercials. HA In my town probably more!
Thanks for the much needed afternoon break, Prevuze. Still a preview to me stuck here at work. :D
She vows Rafe will never lose her. If he does, with his skills as a sleuth, he'll never be able to find her, that's for sure.
Rafe can’t find his butt with either one of his hands.
Nicole watches Sami's confession and gasps, "What the hell am I supposed to do with this?"
Since this is Nicole talking, blackmail comes to mind.
Chloe is either in labor or totally overacting.
That would be door #2.
Chloe overhears, "TWENTY HOURS. TO HECK WITH THAT $%*@#!"
That scene was actually pretty funny.
"You snapped. What rational person wouldn't have done that?" Sami reminds him she's not rational.
You’re right Prevuze. Sami is not rational, but former Agent Enabler is using creative justification to absolve Sami of guilt for her crime. Rational and reasonably well adjusted human beings do not attempt to kill people to solve their problems. The FBI motto is “Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity”. Rafe needs to figure out how to use a dictionary and memorize the meaning of the word “integrity”. What is the Safe motto? “When the going gets tough, the morally bankrupt get to boinking.”
"I want to marry you and spend all the Days Of Our Lives together," says Sami, "but I shot EJ in the head."
"So, you couldn’t have done any damage," says Rafe.
Considering the fact that EJ still wants Sami, I would have to agree.
Nicole wonders what will happen if she puts the video on the six o'clock news. In my town a video of that length would be interrupted at least three times with commercials.
In my town, the video would be breaking news, and the network would interrupt DOOL to carry it. Upon checking my DVR one day last week, instead of Daze there was a guy interviewing the real housewives of heaven knows what town. Daze is the Rodney Dangerfield of daytime programming. It don’t get no respect, but, then again, it doesn’t do much to earn it.
"Arianna left me everything she had. Unfortunately, that works out to me owing Quikie Cash $14,293" -Brady Black
Thank goodness for Arianna that Salem has its share of businesses offering payday loans. LOL!!!
Thanks Prevuze!!
Since I was in meetings from 11AM to 5:30PM yesterdat, I decided to wait and start out my day off with a Revuze and Anon#1 put it. Good one BTW.
Watching the show (except for zapping through the Samisasumi whining and the following gropificating) I noted the following. Most of them revolved around the Horror at the Horton Cabin:
When I saw Melanie's reaction to the fact Chloe was really in labor, first thing that popped into my mind was that Gone With The Wind classic line, I don't know nothin' bout birthin no babies. Fully expected to see that in Prevuze' version. LOL
Chloe, NO WAY this is lasting 20 hours.
Like she could do anything about it if it did.
Also laughed with This isn't how I wanted it. I wanted Daniel holding my hand. I wanted Pucini in the background. I WANTED DRUGS!
I kept thinking Chloe would want out of that dress she had on, cinched tight around her waist.
But what a wimp. Chloe can't take it anymore – after all of 15 minutes of labor. I have to give her props though. She was screaming at the top of her lungs, but never even broke a sweat and her make-up stayed perfect through it all.
"The baby's head is blue," says Melanie. "What does that mean," asks Chloe. "The father must've been one of the Blue Men," says Melanie.
Or maybe a Smurf?
Word verification: bring
Come on DOOL, Bring something a little more interesting to sweeps week would ya?
Thanks, Prevuze. This started my day right.
