Dr. I-forgot-his-name-but-some-think-he's-hot wants to talk to Daniel about the procedure he performed on EJ.
Melanie asks Chloe about cheating on Daniel.
Will worries EJ might think he's the shooter. He wants Sami to keep EJ from finding out she knows who shot him.
EJ says the "operative" is Arianna. Speak of the devil... Arianna shows up. Stefano welcomes her with open arms and leaves them alone to cultivate their budding relationship. EJ tells her he's not sure he can tolerate more of Stefano.
Chloe denies everything. Melanie calls her on it, "How could you do that?" Chloe explains how it is done done. Without Internet cameras, that is.
Kate is with Lexie in the rumpus room. They're talking about preparing the house for invalid EJ's rival. Lexie instructs. Kate bristles. Lexie tells her to settle down about her role, "We're the womenfolk in this family, you know."
EJ pretends to be reluctant to involve Arianna in things, but tells her she is the only one he can trust, "Do you think Samantha or William could have shot me?"
Carly joins Daniel as Dr. Hott leaves.
Chloe insists Nathan was lying. Melanie ain' buyin' it. Voice levels raise as Melanie accuses Chloe of whoring around behind Daniel's back, "Prove to me you didn't cheat on Daniel." What does she want, to dust Chloe for fingerprints?

Sami tells Will he should be able to trust Rafe or she shouldn't have agreed to marry him. Will wants to talk to Rafe, but Sami doesn't know where he is. "Maybe the babysitter has him with the rest of your brood" says Will. Lexie shows up wanting to talk about EJ.
EJ explains how he came to suspecting Samantha or Will. He can't believe Sami would do it, "She loves me. If she or her son tried to kill me I need to know it from someone I trust. See if you can help me find that person, will you? "
Sami worries that EJ remembered something. Lexie says that's not it, "He wants to see you and the kids. I know this isn't an easy time for you, but for Johnny & Sydney's sake will you continue pretending to be EJ's wife?" Sami says she'll try but doesn't know if EJ will buy it.
EJ insists the shooter just couldn't be Samantha or Will. He doesn't want anything to happen to either of them, "If my father's suspicions are correct, I don't know what I'll do."
Carly and Daniel are at the pier. He says something about Melanie is bothering him. Something about Melanie bothers almost everyone.

She starts to call Father Matt, but Chloe stops her. That sends Melanie into a fit of tears, "I have my answer." Large quantities of Prozac would be the answer for both of them, if you ask me.
Arianna shows up at Sami & Rafe's place. Will tells her Sami is at the hospital. Arianna says she's there to apologize.
Chad comes to the DiMera mansion. He's decided to take the internship, but with a few conditions. He doesn't want Kate to think it's because he's interested in her. Kate says she thought she made that perfectly clear that she has no interest in him. Chad the stud isn't convinced.
EJ tells Stefano Arianna agreed to play along with him. Sami shows up. EJ asks about the kids, and Sami sends Stefano out. She tells EJ Johnny was upset and she thought it would be a bad idea to bring him. EJ says he understands, "You're angry with me and I know why."
Daniel tells Carly Melanie wanted to meet with him, but he can't reach her. He thinks it's serious and important but can't figure why she's not returning his calls.
Melanie figures it's all true. It's DOOL. It's true even if it's not true. Chloe comes clean... well as close to clean as a filthy busted ho can get... "I'm sorry."
"It's too late for that," bellows Melanie.
It wouldn't be to late for that if the future was in the past and the past was in the future. Then all we'd have to worry about would be the present.
Chloe starts with Vivian as she tries to explain to Melanie what happened. We've all heard it before. But we don't judge. Melanie does. Chloe says she slept with someone else in retaliation, "It's not like you're perfect."

Carly makes excuses for Melanie and tells Daniel not to worry. Daniel cheers up. Carly give him a wedding gift to thank him for the gift he's given her, "The gift of forgiveness."
Arianna tells Will about coming to the apartment the day before and the ensuing nuclear blast. Will says EJ doesn't do anything for anybody unless there is something in it for him, so she shouldn't get too excited about what EJ did for her. Arianna says EJ is still the father to... well we've lost count... of Sami's kids. Given that, she wonders why Sami isn't so upset about the shooting.
EJ is sorry for the way he treated Sami when he found out she kept Sydney from him. He thinks he's been unspeakably cruel, "I'm so sorry." Sami for once is silent. He asks if she has anything to say. Sami says she's not normally on this side of an apology. EJ says nothing she could say would make him stop loving her, "We are the same. We shoot from the hip and we are both missing large sections of brain." He forgives her for anything she's done to him. Sami says she wishes he'd said this sooner.
Sami says she wishes she'd brought the kids, because EJ seems well enough to babysit. She smooches him and leaves. "Enjoy the kids while you can," says EJ.
Arianna says, "Thank God none of you guys were there the night EJ was shot."
Carly says she will never take Daniel's forgiveness for granted. Daniel says today they will draw a big line across the past. "All the lies, all the unhappiness... POOF!"
Will tells Arianna they were in the house that night, but her mom got them out when she found out the truth. "Thank God Sami was with Rafe and you and the others were at your grandmothers."
Sami shows up and wants to know why Arianna is grilling Will.
Kate gets huffy. Chad asks if he still has the job. Kate says she'll let him know. He leaves. Outside Chad wonders about her offering him a job for Stefano's sake.
Arianna insists she wasn't grilling Will. She stops grilling Will and says she thinks Sami and Will were lucky they weren't there when the crazy person came in, which for that house is redundant because if anyone's in there, they're crazy. The crazy person in question, however, tells her to leave her kids alone. Arianna leaves and Sami takes over the Will grillin'.
Carly says all she ever wanted was for Daniel to get a second crack at raising a child. Daniel is just sorry he never got a second crack at Carly back in the day. He wants her to always be a part of his life. Carly says she ain' goin' anywhere. Hugs... and maybe a little cop-a-feel.
Melanie says she isn't going to keep her mouth shut because someone else has seen the results.. "It's not just someone else," screams Chloe, "It's your mother... it's Carly." So much for Carly always being a part of their lives...

As promised, I couldn't stay away until Monday. Just as well. I was deep in the Friday afternoon 2PM doldrums. Now I'm floating on a wave of Prevuze-induced snarkorphins (kinda like endorphins, but edgier).

EJ knows that Sami loves him...but he also knows that she's capable of killing him when she's pissed off. It's one of the ironies of the EJami relationship...they say "all's fair in love and war"...EJ & Sami can certainly testify to that!
