An Express Elevator Striaght To Hell

Vivian wanders through the debris of the wedding aftermath. Gus comes in and she tells him he missed the great and glorious event. She also tells him Victor is with someone else on her wedding night, but things aren't a total loss.

Chloe flashes back to Vivian's offer to help get Carly out of her life, "You leave me with no choice, Carly."

Daniel comes into the pub and finds Melanie and Phillip. He sits with them and makes the big announcement, "Chloe and I are getting married tomorrow."

Melanie screams, "NO!"

Arianna is on the phone whining to her mom telling her she's in jail. She insists she's innocent and has a good attorney, "I won't disgrace the family. Been there done that."

EJ is in the Cheatin' Heart with Nicole. He asks what she's doing to Arianna. Nicole spits her drink. She asks him to be a little more specific. EJ grits his teeth, "You're letting her rot in jail for something you know she didn't do."

Bo tells Carly he's going to call Caroline and tell her about Victor's wedding. Carly goes over and tries to buddy-up with Ciara. Ciara pulls her backpack in, "You can't look. These are my secrets." She tells Carly to stay away. Bo watches.

Hopeless calls Baker, "It's time to do some serious damage and I know just where to start. Meet me at pier 15 in 5 minutes.

"OK," says Baker, "Pier 5 in 15 minutes..

Melanie apologizes for her big reaction to Daniel's announcement. She tells Daddy Dan he can't get married because things are happening too fast. Daniel says he doesn't want any more delays. Phillip steps up and says he agrees with Daniel.

Vivian tells Gus Chloe thinks Carly is trying to ruin her life. Chloe calls. She tells Vivian if she's going to be happy she's going to have to take control and asks for Vivian's help.

Brady carries Arianna's clothes out of the pub and bumps into Caroline. She asks how things are going. "It's been nuts," says Brady, "Between Arianna's arrest and grandfather's wedding..."

Caroline gasps, "Victor got married?"

"Yeah," says Brady, "Today."

"Who?"

"Vivian."

Matter meets antimatter, "WHAT! OMG!"

Bo comes back in and sits with Ciara as Carly leaves. Ciara tells him Carly was trying to see her secret treasures. Bo tells her Carly is a really good friend and he hopes Ciara can become her friend, too. Ciara is pretty unenthusiastic, but agrees. Bo asks what the treasures are.

Baker wanders. Hopeless finds him. As she walks up, she pulls a gun. Halfway around the world in Bora-Bora, Kayla runs for cover. "You betrayed me," says Hopeless, "That can mark the end of a good partnership."

EJ says Arianna has an alibi for the night Justin was attacked, "You are her alibi." Nicole chokes.

Baker tries to settle Hopeless down and says framing Arianna won't work if they take down another guy. Hopeless says they aren't doing any more muggings, "Nicole and you pulling that little scam could be a red herring for me. It's time to go after my real target."

Ciara agrees to show Bo her secrets, but just Bo. He opens the backpack and finds nothing in the first pocket. Caroline shows up and interrupts the search. She has a nuclear conniption about Victor marrying Vivian.

Chloe shows up at the Kiriakis mansion. Vivian says, "If we work together we can stop Carly from ruining your happiness. Are you ready to save Daniel from that wretched woman? Chloe says she is. Vivian assures her she will (say it with her) be there for her.

Phillip says this is a new beginning for Chloe. He gets a call from Taiwan and leaves to take it. Daniel asks Melanie why she is really against the wedding.

Caroline asks how Bo could have let Victor marry Vivian. Bo says Victor is his own man and must have had his reasons for marrying her, "We have to accept it." Caroline ain' acceptin' nuttin.

Daniel tells Melanie Chloe actually wanted to elope tonight. Melanie thinks Chloe must be desperate, "She thought she was going to lose you. Did she do something you're not telling me?"

Vivian says Carly is their mutual enemy. Chloe flashes back to Carly's threat and tells Vivian she has no choice, "Carly will ruin everything."

"Leave the details to me," says Vivian, "Carly won't win this time."

Brady is with Arianna at her jail cell. She tells him EJ is checking out something that could exonerate her. She won't say what he's up to, though. Brady says he just wants what's best for Arianna. A guard tells him visiting hours are over and Brady leaves.

EJ tells Nicole he knows about Arianna being with Nicole to give her the check at the same time Justin was mugged. He says he wants Nicole to cooperate. She says she'll do anything she can to help. He says he thinks Nicole is the one who attacked him, "And I think you... are going back to prison."

Daniel asks Melanie to trust him. Melanie says she hopes Chloe won't hut him. Daniel assures her it won't happen. Phillip listens, "Damn right. Chloe can't blow this. She just can't."

Vivian tells Chloe Carly has her weaknesses, "Claustrophobia, for one thing." Chloe asks if Vivian is alluding to the time she buried Carly alive. Vivian says she's actually talking about the time Carly went nuts in an elevator.

"I did the same thing," says Chloe, "I was with Lucas. Who was Carly having sex with?"

Vivian tells her about Carly getting trapped, "Getting her into an elevator would be a start." Vivian hands Chloe a phone number, "It's someone who will help you give Carly exactly what she deserves."

Nicole says EJ is wrong about her. EJ thinks she has set Arianna up to take the fall. Nicole says she has alibis for when others were attacked. She says she will help save Arianna, but it will be for Arianna's sake, not EJ's. She rushes out. Outside, she stops and says, "I am not gonna let you ruin this for me. No way."

Daniel says he'll call Melanie in the morning. He asks Phillip to walk Chloe down the aisle. Phillip reluctantly agrees. Daniel leaves. Phillip asks if Melanie is upset with him. She says not, but says she still has the feeling Chloe will break Daniel's heart.

Vivian says the phone number is a man who will help Chloe. Chloe enters the number into her phone. Vivian says once she calls, Chloe's job is to see that Carly gets into a certain elevator at a certain time. "I'm sorry I'm cryptic," says Vivian.

"I thought you were Catholic," says Chloe.

Caroline wants to break Victor's neck. Ciara comes down and shows Caroline a picture of her she has drawn. She drags her off to bake cookies.

Hopeless and Baker stand outside Bo and Hope's house. Hopeless tells him this is her home.

EJ shows up in Arianna's cell. He tells her Nicole will back her up. Arianna jumps up on him and hugs.

Nicole walks outside the pub. She checks her calendar and says she hopes Arianna got the dates wrong, "Baker will talk his head off and I am dead meat. Well, the best offense is a good defense. So I need a good defense, better than the St. Louis Rams, for sure."

Carly stands at the pier and flashes back to her argument with Chloe. Daniel finds her. She apologies for what she said earlier. Daniel says he already told Chloe about moving the wedding up.

Chloe wants more than a phone number and a sketchy plan, "I want something concrete."

"Use your head" says Vivian, "That's got more concrete than the Salem Freeway."

Chloe gets it, "The man isn't just going to stall the elevator is he?"

"No," says Vivian, "He's going to do what needs to be done."

Melanie asks Phillip to swear he thinks Chloe is right for Daniel.

Daniel tells Carly Chloe was thrilled about moving the wedding up. Carly asks if there was anything Chloe wanted to say to him. Daniel tells her Chloe wanted to elope right away.

Vivian asks, "You said you wanted a permanent solution n'es pas? My contact will make it an express elevator straight to hell. When this is over you'll be free forever." Chloe stares.

EJ says if Nicole tells the truth, Arianna will be out right after her arraignment. Arianna worries Nicole might lie.

Nicole gets a call asking her to do a story on DA Woods. She tells the caller to forget it, "That's ancient history. No one would be interested." She hangs up as Brady comes by. She says she's glad he's there because she has good news, "There may be a way to exonerate Arianna."

Hopeless drones, "My husband is inside this house. So is my child."

Baker says, "I didn't realize you had..."

Hopeless interrupts, "Baggage? My husband lives here with someone else. In my house."

Baker asks, "So you broke up?"

"No," says Hopeless, "He left me. Traded me in for a newer model."

"It would almost have to be a newer model," says Baker, "You're a 1958 Edsel kind of gal. So, you had a problem with him and you took it out on other guys?"

Hopeless zones out, "Who were they... stand ins... for Bo."

Baker asks, "You mean Bo Brady? The police commissioner?"

"Yes," says Hopeless, "He turned on me." She looks in and sees Ciara pulling wallets from her backpack, "OMG! That little devil... she has them!"
