The sorority girls stand around comforting Cordy outside Dean Lochlan's office. Cordy whines, "I can't do it. I can't testify. You guys hate me." They try to reassure her. The dean comes out. Billie asks for a few more minutes. The dean is reluctant. Billie spouts the student's bill of rights section by section. The rest of the girls arrive. Cordy continues to apologize. Chelsea tells her to be strong.
Cordy explodes, "This didn't happen to you!" Chelsea tells her about her episode with Dr. Pervert.
Stephanie zones and flashes to her night from hell. Chelsea finishes her story. She tells Cordy Nick saved the day. She says she went through a lot of mental pain, but it helped when she reported the incident and the hospital fired Dr. Pervert.
Sami tells Colleen to leave her alone. Colleen isn't about to leave. She thinks Sami is the only one who can get through to EJ. "He doesn't even want me around," insists Sami.
"That's a load o' roobish," says Colleen.
The crash team works on EJ. Outside, Stefano wanders as Tony comes up. Stefano prays. Tony asks, "What makes you think God is going to listen to you?"
"I have connections," says Stefano.
Tony didn't realize Stefano had become so spiritual. The doctor interrupts and gives Stefano a rundown on EJ's condition. If they can stabilize him he has a good chance. Prevuze tip of the day: take that one to Vegas. No matter what the odds, bet on EJ to survive.
The doctor leaves. Stefano thinks EJ has given up hope. That's why he called Tony. Stefano thinks Tony can restore EJ's will to live. Tony thinks Stefano spoiled EJ. Kate interrupts as they argue. Stefano asks for Kate's help. He wants Kate to convince EJ to want to live. Kate thinks she is the last person EJ wants to see, "The last time he saw me, I had a gun pointed at him." Stefano says this is a way for Kate to redeem herself. Kate agrees.
Tony taunts Stefano for being at the end of his life and realizing it's a fiasco.
Sami and Colleen argue. Colleen thinks Sami is afeered of her feelings, "We'ere the same, you an' I. Two pees in a poode. Not 'cause we looke alike. We have the streength. The passion. The manic depression."
Sami walks over to her CD player and turns up the music. The walls rattle. Colleen says she isn't leaving no matter how loud it gets. Lucas blasts out of the bedroom and tells her to dial it down, "You'll wake the babies!"
Sami apologizes as Phillip comes to their door. Lucas says he asked him to stop by. He and Phillip go outside to talk man-to-motormouth.
Colleen asks if Sami would be able to live with herself if EJ dies.
Outside, Lucas asks Phillip about the gun. Phillip isn't giving him any information until Lucas tells him why he wants to know.

Cordy gives her family's sob story: her dad worked three jobs and her mother cleaned houses so she could go to college, "I can't do this to them. They don't have the money to fight it."
Chelsea suggests a fund-raiser, forgetting that's what got them into this mess in the first place.
"Frankie would take the case," says Stephanie.
"Yeah," says Chelsea, "But don't we want to win it?"
Cordy worries about having her name dragged through the mud if she testifies. She says she can't even look at herself any more, "You guys have no idea."
Stephanie says, "Actually, I do." A hush falls over the room.
Stephanie pulls the copout of the century, "Not me! My mom. It happened a long time ago. Mom didn't even tell me about it for a while. She said she felt ashamed. She was afraid people would look at her differently."
Billie says Kayla told her testifying was one of the hardest things she ever did, but it turned out to being a huge weight lifted off her shoulders. Billie tells Cordy she has to do what's right for herself.
Cordy does a 180. She decides she'll do it. Ford sticks his head out of the dean's door and gives Cordy the stare of death. Cordy bolts.
Colleen and Sami keep up the same kinverseeshun without saying a meaningful word.
Phillip and Lucas argue about the gun. Lucas says, "Give me back the gun so we can move on. I want to get rid of it."
Phillip says, "I guess I did you a favor, bro. The gun is gone."
Kate walks into EJ's room. She says he gave Stefano quite a scare and also says she should apologize for yesterday. She makes excuses but says she would never have fired the gun. She doesn't want him to think she is the one who put him there, "I wish there were something I could do for you... or with you.
"There is," says EJ, "You could bring me something."
Two sisters bring Cordy back in. The dean comes out. Billie tells the dean about Ford giving Cordy the death stare. Dean Lochlan says if Ford came out of his office and intimidated her, he was unaware of it. Billie accuses him of prejudging. Crawford struts. Morgan steps up and says she will testify.
Sami and Colleen talk about feeelin's. Colleen wants Sami to tell EJ she loves him.
EJ lies in his bed and drones, "Samantha..."
Colleen says, "If ya tell him ya love him and he comes aroond, Stefano will be greetful all the Days Of Our Lives."
"What do you mean our lives," asks Sami, "You're dead."
"So they say," says Colleen, "So they say."
EJ stares into space, "If you want something, you take it. I took Samantha and look what happened. I can't force her to love me. I want to see my father. He's the only one I can count on."
Dean Lochlan invites Morgan into his office. Cordy hugs her and wishes her luck.
Sloan struts and taunts. "All right! We get front row seats to see Ford get fried." The dean says Morgan may invite four girls to come in with her. Morgan selects Sloan, Carmen, Stephanie and Chelsea.
Stephanie declines to go in, "I'll stay and cry in my beer with Cordy."
Sami says she won't lie to EJ. Colleen says, "Talling him ye loove him won't change how ya feel aboot Lucas, unless it's treew."
Phillip says he threw the gun in the lake. He thinks Lucas wants to see if the gun had been fired. Lucas agrees, "I have to know."
Stephanie asks Billie if they have a chance. Billie says something about a snowball and hell. Then she launches into the Days Of Our Lives / NBC date rape Public Service Announcement. After her harangue, she says she has to go check on Jett. She tells Stephanie to be strong for Cordy.
The Spanish Inquisition begins on the other side of the door. Morgan gives her story. Crawford rips her apart like an Arby's meat slicer in overdrive.
Kate comes out of EJ's room and tells Stefano EJ wants to see him. Stefano goes in. EJ says he loves Stefano, but can't live like this. He wants Stefano to get him a gun.
Lucas wants to know if Kate's gun was fired. Phillip is silent. That's OK. Lucas can do enough talking for both of them.
Sami and Colleen regeeeergitate the same old stuff.
Sami's phone rings. Kate says she has to get to the hospital, "It's EJ. He's dying."
The girls all come out of Dean Lochlan's office. Crawford slaps Ford on the back, "Let's go get a celebratory beer. And maybe we can score some Spanish Fly, too." The girls who were inside say Crawford made Ford look like the victim. Chelsea says this is far from over. They will make sure everyone on the campus knows what Ford did, "It's time for retaliation."
Phillip says most of the time Kate deserves what she gets, "But don't sell her out."
Suddenly, Sami busts out of the door. Lucas asks what's up. Sami says she has to run a few errands. Lucas asks, "How long are you gonna be gone?" No answer.
Chelsea wants a picture of Ford. She says they'll work up posters and cover the entire campus with flyers. The girls aren't up for it. They think it get them in trouble.
Chelsea inspires them with her sisterhood speech, "Don't forget our motto: Integrity, Honesty, Sisterhood, Stupidity!" That does it. All for one and one for all. They all do the team handpile.
Stephanie pouts and doesn't join in. She flashes back to the night of the living dead. They all coax her and she finally throws her hand in.
Lucas says he wouldn't do anything to hurt Kate, "But if she shot EJ there is nothing either of us can do for her." He goes back inside.
Phillip pulls the gun out of his pocket and fondles it.
Stefano staggers out. He tells Tony and Kate EJ asked for a gun, "I will not rest until I find out who has done this and when I do God help them."
"Don't drag me into this," says God.
Stefano wants Tony out of his sight. Tony looks into EJ's room and leaves. Sami bops in. Stefano tells her not to upset EJ as she goes into his room.
Sami enters and picks up the picture of her and Johnny D. She tells EJ she's sorry they fought. She just wants to help. He asks her to go. She refuses. "Go and be with Lucas," says EJ, "He's the one you love."
Sami asks, "What if he's not?"

I find it annoying that while NBC is doing this big ol public service announcement episode about how date rape is a crime and women shouldn't be afraid to testify; at the same time, they are scaring the hell out of any women who actually might have been date raped by having Ford intimidate Cordy and Stephanie clam up and not even report her experience.

And yes we all know what's going to happen with EJAMI.

What a terrible thing for the writers to do about the rape... We had to watch EJ, basically rape Sami and NEVER, (to this day), be punished for his actions - and now Ford walks out scott free and all smug????? They can do all of the 'public announcements' they want, but actions speak louder than words. Why can't they, just once, show the legal system working? And rape is a crime! Not to be decided by the 'Dean' of a school. He needed to be arrested and charged by law! Who cares what the 'Dean' says! (Stupid!) Again, minimizing the act of rape!
I have said all along Sami has feelings for EJ. It seems like the writers are drawing closer and closer to this.
I just question the fact that Sami has 2 newborns at home with Lucas... Yet, she is able to be running around the city and the hospital? Obviously the writers are MEN! Hello, she just gave birth.... are you clueless? Ha Ha!
Finally, this whole Lucas/Phillip/Kate thing... who cares. Lucas disowned her so why would he care? Ha Ha!

I've given up on EJ getting punished (it was obvious from the start he never would be); however, I'm really disappointed at how they handled the Ford/Cordy matter.
Date-rape is the most common form of rape and they should have shown how it is really handled - that there is a CONFIDENTIAL investigation, that the ONLY time the other sides' lawyers get to question you is during the deposition and, if needed, during a trial.
They've introduced the whole teeny bopper (?brain) storylines to attract a younger crowd and they can't even educate them? I know, I know, people shouldn't be educated by television, but come one!
They'll plan some kind of revenge on Ford and he'll come clean. In real life, this kind of "revenge" would most likely end up with somebody getting killed.

I think what will prompt Stephanie to testify is being pregnant. I think she'll get knocked up from the rape by Ford Decker and be forced to say something.

I agree, Angel. I really can't believe that Sami took EJ's word about the paternity of her baby and didn't demand to see the results for herself. Or why didn't Lucas demand to see them? They got a note delivered to their hotel room from EJ and neither of them ever questioned it.
And whatever happened with the envelope marked "Samantha Brady Roberts -- DNA Results" that Stefano opened? I'm thinking now that it couldn't have been a second DNA test on the twins because he seemed surprised when EJ told him the boy was his.
I love the title of this episode. Colleen's accent cracks me up when I watch the show because I remember how Prevuze wrote it. HAHAHHA

The night of the election (Jack was running for Assemblyman) the photographer handed Jack the pictures and when he saw them later on, he was, crushed. At home, he wanted to make love to his wife, but of course, Kayla refused him. He then showed Kayla the pictures and everything went downhill then.
Hmmmm, Kayla married Jack to give him a reason to live, and now Sami is telling EJ she loves him to give HIM a reason to live -- anybody smell a recycled script coming up?

I read a spoiler that Marlena is going to find out about Belle and Phillip. I also read that John Black is not really dead and he is searching for Colleen to end the vendetta. Won't Belle be pissed when she finds out she ran to Phillip for comfort and her father is still alive! Sucks to be her!
In yesterdays episode, Kayla and Steve are in the church. Kayla ask Steve if he remembered that they got married in that church. My husband, who has watched Days for years said they did not get married in a church. They were married on a boat. What?!! Could this be a writers mistake? NOOOOOO not on DOOL.
To those complaining about Samantha's babies DNA test. St. Marlena supervised the test herself? Stefano had his own people the the results for him, because Stefano became suspicious of EJ's manic need to rush Samantha to the alter. When EJ boasted that the Twins didn't bind Samantha to Lucas. That raised Steffi's brow.
It makes me laugh to see everyone upset that the writers aren't handling rape properly yada, yada. Come on people, they bring characters back from the dead constantly, DNA tests are always fast or messed up, no one works but they all dress great and supposedly have real jobs. It is a soap it is not REAL!

Steve and Kayla were married in a boat, but that wedding was invalid due to Steve's (gag) wife Marina came to town. He inadverdently forgot to tell Kayla he was married. He thought she died (of course!) They had a second wedding , but Kayla was arrested before she had a chance to say her vows. She was arrested for supposedly killing Marina. The third and final wedding was at St. Luke's.

I gotta say, I was offended with the way Days is handling the date rape and the comments made by Ford, the Dean, etc. Why is this being handled by the school? Why aren't the police involved? Why isn't a victim's advocate with Cordy? Why didn't one of her beloved sisters drive her to the meeting? Where are her parents?
