High Profile Guys With Gold Cards

Here's what we missed in the show that will air in the US today:

Melanie tries to encourage Nathan after losing his patient. Stefano does the same. Nathan beats himself up. Nathan asks to go to the mortality and morbidity council.

Maxine tells Stephanie and Lexie they just lost Mrs. Martin, chair of the fundraising committee. Lexie wonders if Nathan and Melanie were focused on each other during the fatal operation.

Abe tells Hope Roman re-interviewed the DA and the DA said he didn't hear or see Rafe. Hope has a case o' nerves.

Adrienne thinks Hope wants her gone. Hope questions her about Justin's mugging.

Hope pops a pack o' pills. Ciara tells her she misses both Bo and Justin. Hope tells her maybe someday Uncle Justin can be her daddy.

Adrienne tells Justin she has a buyer for the Cheatin' Heart. Adrienne says she's glad she came back to Salem. She says she found out Justin was her rock but now she doesn't need to lean on him anymore. They apologize to each other.

Rafe wonders if Stefano has something on EJ. EJ thinks Rafe questions everything Sami does and is making her life miserable. Rafe thinks there is another conspirator out there. Rafe reports the authorities got Anna in Morocco and wonders if EJ knew she was there.

Stefano thanks Sami for letting him see the kids. Sami rejects his offer for a truce and cuts off visitation. Stefano plays the 'Will' card.

Stefano tells Kate EJ said he has feelings for Sami and in order not to lose Elvis he has to get along with Sami.

EJ tells Stefano about Anna's capture. Stefano tells him the woman who was arrested was not Anna.

Rafe tells Sami they have Anna in custody. He says he's surprised EJ didn't tell her about that. Rafe finds out the woman wasn't Anna. He thinks it was a setup and goes off the deep end.

Lexie discovers Abe lying on the sidewalk.

And here's what you'll wish you missed in the show that will air in the US tomorrow...

Hope finds Ciara getting ready for school. Ciara is taking a magazine for show and tell, but Hope says it isn't hers, "Why were you taking it?"

"I thought you were getting married again," says Ciara.

"I'm married to daddy."

"Then why did you tell me Uncle Justin would be my new daddy?"

Hope protests, "I never said that."

"You did, too," insists Ciara.

"I would never say that."

"You said it," yells Ciara, "I remember."

The previous scene is accompanied by the requisite flashback of Hope telling Ciara because the writers think the viewers can't remember even though a child can.

Carly finds Daniel at the hospital. Daniel rubs his eyes and says no one will ever be able to help. Carly says she has a better idea than the one they came up with yesterday, hands him a red-tipped cane and introduces him to his new seeing-eye-dog Bowser.

Chloe and Nicole stroll at the pier. Chloe continues to worry about Carly, "I talked with Daniel this morning, but I kept thinking Carly would show up in a teddy with some sticky buns."

"When Daniel's around, all buns are sticky," says Nicole, "At least Carly and her buns live across the hall. Let's go get bacon and eggs and plot her downfall."

Vivian walks up and listens as the girls head for the pub, "Yes, you do that, ladies."

Hope tells Ciara she dreamed about Hope telling her Justin would be her daddy. Ciara insists not and runs out. Hope gets a call, "What Abe was mugged? I'm on my way." Hope heads for Dry Gulch while Ciara crosses the Salem Expressway on her way to school.

Nicole and Chloe are at the pub. Nicole asks Chloe's opinion about her job as reporter at the TV station, "Do you think Brady is behind it?"

"I don't know," says Chloe, "That would require thinking."

"You worked in TV," says Nicole, "You know how these decisions are made."

"That's a time in my life I'd rather forget," says Chloe.

"Oh, that's right," says Nicole, "That's back when your charming mother-in-law poisoned you. She was a little ticked you were playing around on her son Lucas. Yuck. Who wouldn't play around on that idiot? Anyway, you went through hell for Daniel, and I have a feeling those problems aren't over. Do you really think he's worth all that?"

Outside, Vivian, sees them and wonders what they are talking about. Gus comes up and Vivian wonders if Carly has another enemy besides her. She looks back inside, "Maybe there is someone who could drive a stake through that non-existent vampire's heart."

Hope comes in to see Abe in his hospital room. Lexie is with him. Hope asks, "How are you doing?"

"I have a world class headache," says Abe, "It just walked in the door." Hope tells Abe she still wants to be on the case. Abe asks to talk to her alone. Lexie leaves and Abe tells Hope he thinks the guy who attacked him is the same guy who attacked the DA and Justin. Hope thinks given the guys he attacked, the perp has guts.

Arianna shows up at the Kiriakis mansion. Victor lets her in and asks her to stay and chat even though Brady isn't there, "I promise I won't have you for breakfast." He asks her about going to work at the station as Susan Chavez' assistant, and wonders if she'll like working for him. Arianna says she wasn't aware she'd be working for Victor. "The station is owned by Titan and I'm the titan," says Victor. Arianna says she won't answer to him.

"That feistiness will come in handy when you and Nicole go head to head over Brady," says Victor.

Nicole and Chloe talk about Carly. Nicole warns her to be on guard but Chloe doesn't show much concern. "I'm just saying, watch your back," advises Nicole.

Daniel starts to walk off, but Carly chases him and asks him to talk to Dr. Yang about his vision. Daniel resists. Carly has convinced Dr. Yang to do surgery today. Daniel gives up on his resistance, thanks her and they share a hug.

Gus suggests Vivian concentrate on her marriage. Vivian says she wants to get Chloe to do her dirty work for her, "She doesn't think she can live without Dr. Jonas. I don't think it will take much to push her over the edge, do you?"

"That girl crossed the edge long ago," says Gus.

Hope and Abe talk about the mugger. Abe tells her she shouldn't be handling the case alone and wonders if she has been sleeping well. Hope brushes him off. Abe asks about Bo.

Daniel says he is happy Carly is so concerned about him, "You're a good friend."

Carly says, "I'm more than a good friend. We both know that."

Nicole advises Chloe, "When it comes to men, most women don't have a chance against Carly."

Carly says she's the mother of Daniel's child. Daniel says he hates that she didn't give him a chance to be Melanie's father but that's all water over the dam, "I don't want Melanie to know about this surgery. She might want to be in there with me and she's already helped kill off one patient today."

Vivian comes into the pub as Nicole and Chloe continue to talk. Nicole continues to toss advice out, "If you want to hold on to Daniel you have to bring your 'A-Game.'"

Hope says Kimberly's bone marrow transplant went well, but she hasn't spoken directly to Bo, "If you want an update, speak to Carly." Abe wonders if Hope shouldn't take some personal leave time.

Lexie brings Theo in as Hope zones and has a headache. The Carvers share a family moment and Hope leaves. Lexie follows. Abe gets babysitting duty.

Outside, Hope plays cop. She asks about Abe's injuries. Lexie says if Hope wants specifics on Abe's injuries, she has to talk to the doctor in charge, who just happens to be Carly.

Nicole and Chloe continue to talk about Carly as Vivian listens. Vivian imagines a Carly-Chloe scene where Chloe tells Carly to stay away and pushes her off the pier. Carly's body disintegrates as it hits the flowing stream of boiling muriatic acid known as the Salem river. "I killed her," gasps Chloe.

Hope decides she doesn't have a choice. Lexie leaves as Bo calls Carly. She tells him she misses him as Hope listens.

Chloe assures Nicole Daniel will never be unfaithful. Nicole isn't so sure, "You've fallen in love with a major player."

"He was," says Chloe, "but he isn't any more."

Nicole reminds her, "You are the one worried about Carly. I didn't put that in your head."

"Of course you didn't," says Chloe, "My head is the Fort Knox of brains. Nothing gets in or out of there. I wish Carly would just drop off face of the earth." Daniel walks up in time to hear her say that and wonders what that's all about. Daniel needs a coupon for a free clue. Vivian soaks it in.

Lexie takes Theo into the waiting area. Theo pouts because he wants his dad to come home. Lexie tells him daddy is coming home. Theo wants him to come home NOW. Lexie says he'll be home tonight. Theo asks what happened to him. Lexie tells him it was an accident and assures him Abe will be careful from now on. She hugs him.

Arianna insists she won't have to fight Nicole for Brady. Victor says delaying their marriage will be an opportunity for Nicole. Arianna thinks putting it off will let Nicole know how sure of Brady Arianna is. Arianna leaves so she won't be late for her first day at the job.

Nicole decides to go so Daniel and Chloe can talk. And talk they will.

Outside, Rosie calls Nicole, "You're kidding. You just made my first day as a reporter." Nicole hangs up and makes another call, "I just found out the mayor was attacked. There is a news blackout, but the mayor is at the police station giving a statement."

Chloe says that wasn't what it sounded like. Daniel says he doesn't want Chloe listening to Nicole. Vivian eavesdrops and smirks.

Carly says she loves Bo and hangs up. Hope says she needs info about Abe's injuries, "Are they similar to Abe's and Justin's?" Carly changes the subject. She tells Hope she's sorry she had to hear the conversation. She also tells her Kimberly is doing great, but she doesn't know when Bo is coming home.

Hope gets a call, "Is Ciara OK? I'm on my way." She runs out.

Arianna is on the phone outside the Kiriakis mansion. She gets the news about Abe and heads for police headquarters.

Nicole arrives and she barks orders over the phone. She asks for a change of clothes and coffee, "No! No one drinks plain coffee these days. I want a skinny quad cap with caramel stirred and dried." She busts in to see Abe and asks for a WXIR exclusive. Abe says she can hear the story at the press conference. "Play it your way," says Nicole, "I go on air in a few minutes. I can tell the public my view or yours."

Hope takes Ciara into the bedroom to have a private conversation. Apparently, Ciara's teacher Mrs. Youngblood asked Hope to talk to her since Ciara stole stickers out of the teachers desk. Hope gives her the 'I know you've been through a lot' talk, "I want you to know, I'm always (say it with her) here for you. But you can't take things that don't belong to you."

"You think everything I do is bad," whines Ciara.

"That's unfair," snaps Mommie Dearest, "Go to your room."

Ciara leaves crying, "I want my daddy."

Chloe says, "Nicole may not be perfect..."

Daniel interrupts, "Not perfect? You got that right if she's putting garbage into your head."

"Better garbage than a vacuum," says Chloe, "I am trying to like Carly for your sake." Daniel thinks Nicole is trying to screw up Chloe's life.

"Nicole isn't the problem," says Chloe, "Carly is, but you refuse to see that."

Vivian watches and chuckles, "Let the games begin."

Daniel runs through a litany of Nicole's crimes. Chloe reminds Daniel Carly killed her husband. Daniel worries that Chloe isn't talking to him. She reminds him Carly didn't tell him he had a daughter for 20 years. Chloe blows her stack. Daniel says he thinks she's overreacting, "Carly is a whore who gets through life sleeping with other women's men."

Vivian cheers Carly on under her breath, "Tell it like it is, sister."

Hope finds Victor. He asks why she's home in the middle of the day. Hope tells him about the problem with Ciara at school. "That's my girl," says Victor, "She can scalp those stickers for a lot..."

Hope cuts him off, "Stop it. This isn't like Ciara. She's not taking the separation well. You're just like Abe."

"How is Abe doing after the mugging," asks Victor.

"There is a news blackout," says Hope, "How did you know about Abe?"

"I know about everything in this town," says Victor.
Ciara comes into Hope's bedroom along with Tommy Bear, "Mommy, can my time out be over now?" She sees a shoe and puts it on. Then she walks around looking for the other shoe. She finds a box under the bed, opens it and says, "Look Tommy Bear, look what mommy has."

Nicole is on the phone as Arianna comes in with the coffee and garments. Nicole grabs the coffee without looking, takes a swig and asks, "Do you call that dry?"

Arianna snaps back, "Do you call that manners?"

Nicole sees it's Arianna, "Where is Cece?"

"Cece is toast," says Arianna, "I got the job."

Carly talks to Dr. Yang.

Chloe can't believe Daniel is defending Carly. Daniel can't believe they can't talk in a rational way. The audience can't believe they can't shut up. Chloe asks if there is something going on between Daniel and Carly. Daniel can't believe she asked him that. He storms out. Woe is Chloe.

Vivian comes over and puts a hand on Chloe's shoulder, "You poor, poor thing."

Victor suggests, "Maybe your mugger is after high profile guys with gold cards."

"In that case," says Hope, "I should put Nicole on the suspect list. I just have to figure this out before someone gets hurt."

"I think the DA, Justin and Abe would say that's too little too late," says Victor.

Ciara looks into the box, "Tommy Bear, I think my mommy has a secret. Look at all these nice magazines. What does 'P-L-A-Y-G-I-R-L' spell? "
