Saved By The Bell

Patrick and Hope are hot on the trail of Bo and Billie. Hope knows this is another DiMera trap, “Why does Bo keep choosing Billie over his own family?” Patrick tells her it’s because of Georgia.

Hope tees off about Shawn’s situation, “He’s in a war zone trying to rescue Patrick. All because Bo chose to be with Billie Reed.”

Billie continues to seduce Bo, “I can’t help myself. I love you so much. Make love to me, Bo. I know this is wrong. But if we’re going to die down here I have to be with you one last time.”

Bart walks in as we see Billie and Bo going at it on TV. Bart says, “If you’re into porn, sir, I know a website.” A mysterious hand turns off the TV. Bart continues, “Nobody in Salem knows you’re still alive, sir.”

“The Phoenix always rises form the ashes,” says the evil, dastardly Tony DiMera.

Victor and Caroline are in a jail cell. Victor says, “Damn Tony DiMera. We were so close to making it when his men caught us.”

Caroline says, “If only we could have reached someone by phone to let them know we are alive.”

“Now,” says Victor, “We’re back on Tony’s cruise of the damned.”

Caroline says, “At least the others got away. I know you have problems with Kate, but she’s good for Roman.”

Kate and Roman kiss. Roman tells her, “I thought about this all the time I was captive.” Well, most of the time, anyway. “You are what got me through Kate. How’s Sami doing? Tony got sadistic pleasure of letting us know her wedding was called off.”

Kate tells them about Sami and Brandon. Sami is now missing.

Marlena says, “We’ve gotta find her right now. What about Will?”

Kate accurately points out, “He’s used to these things by now.” She thinks, “Sami deserves this.”

Sami asks for a blindfold. The goon starts to put it on and discovers her makeup.

The guard takes the makeup off and, Heeeeeereeee’s Sami!

“What the hell? He’s a woman,” says the goon.

“I can explain,” says Sami.

“What she’s gotta be now is dead,” says the guard, “Forget the blindfold.”

Bart is preoccupied. He has to remind Tony of a few things. Sami Brady to start. He apologizes for screwing up at the castle. He shouldn’t have let the group get away, “At least I caught Victor and Caroline, but I let our favorite castle go VA-VA-VOOM.

Marlena asks, “You never wanted them married did you Kate?”

Roman says Kate promised him she would look after Sami if anything happened to him.

John says Kate worked around the clock to make the wedding happen. What a saint.

Roman thanks Kate for keeping her word.

No one knows where Sami is. “This is bad says Marlena. Her self-esteem is low. She could be desperate right now.”

The desperate Sami begs for her life, “I swear I was just following orders. It was just a voice on the other side of the phone.”

“You’re bluffing,” says goon number one.

“What if she’s not,” asks goon number two.

“We’re all on the same side,” insists Sami.

“Any final words,” asks the goon, “Speak up now.”

Roman and Marlena are on the phone with loved ones. “Eric is worried about Sami, too,” says Marlena.

They talk about Sami. Roman says he should have gone back in there, “At least Tony got what he deserved, but my mom shouldn’t have had to die like that.”

Victor vows to get them back to Salem and make Tony pay. Caroline says their families will go on, “I’ve had a good life.”

Victor insists, “But it’s not over yet.”

Caroline tells him, “When you look at me like that I feel like I’m in my 20’s again.”

“I just wish I could find a way to show you how much I love you,” says Victor.”

Hope tells Patrick, “Bo didn’t know this until he was an adult, but Victor is his real father. Personality-wise they have a lot in common.”

Patrick says, “You mean like a predisposition to be unfaithful? If I believed heredity had doomed me to repeat my parent’s mistakes I’d have given up long ago. Bo didn’t go off with Billie to have sex with her. They are looking for Georgia.” They pull up to the house and see Bo’s car.

“This is wrong,” thinks Billie, “I love you Bo, and I always will. But you love Hope.” The gas closes in on them, “We don’t have much time.” Bo is unconscious. Billie is frantic, “Bo, Bo, wake up. No! No!”

Marlena can’t wait to see Belle. She asks if Belle and Phillip are happy.

“No,” says Kate, “Belle has decided she’s still in love with Shawn.”

“Has she told Phillip?”

John tells her about Phillip’s situation.

Roman hugs Kate, “OMG, I am so sorry.”

John tells them about the failed mission. Roman says they have to do something. John says the ISA already rejected his foolproof plan. Roman says they will do it themselves, but John tells him Shawn and the marauders already beat them to the punch. Nothing like finding out if the plan is really foolproof with four fools testing it out.

Roman vows Kate will not lose her sons, “John, there has to be something we can do.”

Kate tells Marlena ever since they got the news about Phillip her heart stops whenever the phone rings, “I’m afraid it’s going to take a miracle to bring my boys home to me.”

Tony says, “Kate and John may have gotten Roman and Marlena back to Salem, but that’s the last good news they’ll get for a long, long time. I have a contingency plan – two aces up my sleeve, Phillip Kiriakis and Samantha Brady.”

“Oh, God,” says Sami, “I have to find a way to get you to listen to me. This is just like being on death row.” She flashes back to death row, “If you kill me Kate will win.” Oh, that does it. They’ll put down their guns now. They wouldn’t want Kate to win. Sami prays. She promises to change, “Mommy, Daddy I know you’re up there, just put in a good word for me.” There aren’t enough good words in the English language to get sami up there. “Mom, Dad, God, someone.”

The guards prepare for the execution, “Ready, aim…” The phone rings. Saved by the bell. Sami asks, “Is that the Governor?”

The guard answers the phone. It’s Tony. “Listen carefully,” says Tony, “You have new instructions.”

Sami screams for help.

“Boss we thought you died,” says the guard.

Tony says, “The young lady there is Samantha Brady. When she is undercover she goes by Stan. She does work for me but she doesn’t know who I am. Samantha is much more important to us alive than dead. Also I want Phillip Kiriakis alive. Watch him very carefully. He is clever. Finally I want you to be extra vigilant. Four naive young men are on your trail. I want them captured alive.”

The guard says, “Yes, Count DiMera.”

Sami freaks when she hears the name, “TONY!”

Billie says, “No! You can’t die Bo. I need you. Georgia needs you.”

Bo hears Hope telling him to stay alive for her and the family. Bo chokes himself awake, “I’ll be here for our family, Fancy Face,” he says. They express their undying love for each other.
Billie dives in.

Hope says, “I’m going in.” She opens the door. Patrick and Hope peer into the dark room.

Caroline asks if Victor thinks the others got back safely. Victor is sure they did. “Roman deserves a second chance with Kate,” she says.

Victor says, “I agree and I think we deserve a second chance too.”

Marlena asks how John is doing, “He was paralyzed on the island. How has he gotten back to walking so quickly?”

Kate says, “He‘s a strong man.”

“Kate,” says Marlena, “I’m a doctor. I want to see his chart. Any medication that can handle that kind of pain has to be highly addictive.”

John comes up to her, “Now that I’ve got you back that’s the best medicine in the world.”

“Kate,” says Roman, “I love you but I’ve gotta ask. Do you know anything about how Sami wound up in bed with Brandon that night?”

Kate is shocked, “You’re not implying...”

Roman interrupts, “Kate, you’ve got tell me the truth. Did you have anything to do with Lucas and Sami breaking up, and does the reason that Sami is missing have anything to do with you?” Kate stares.

Sami grabs the phone, “Tony, you bastard, I should have known. You used me!”

“Samantha,” says Tony, “quid pro quo. You know, Brady and the bozos are trying to rescue Phillip. I want you to be their welcoming committee.”

“No way am I going to help you.”

Tony plays the trump card, “Do exactly as I say and I promise I will deliver your mother and father to you alive.”

Kate asks why Roman would think she would have anything to do with Sami being missing.

Silly question, “Because you hated each other’s guts.”

“You’re right,” says Kate, “I didn't want Sami to marry Lucas. I knew she was no good and she proved it that night.”

Roman says, “When in the hell is she ever going to learn? If I told her once I told her a thousand times. Successful relationships are built on trust and honesty. I’m glad we have that.” Choke.

Marlena wants to examine John. She has him sit down, “Can I get you something?”

“You,” says John, “I handled the pain thanks to Kate. She was a great help.” Marlena flashes back to Kate being helpful as she and Roman watched on TV in the castle.

John continues, “I’m sorry you had to come home to this. We thought you were both dead. That’s the only reason we moved on. But now it’s you and me.”

“I never stopped loving you,” says Marlena.

As they sneak into the house, Patrick says, “This is way too easy.”

Hope creeps in, “Bo? Billie?”

Patrick goes upstairs.

Bo gets into the act, “Hope, I’ve never loved anyone the way I’ve loved you.”

Billie rationalizes, “A part of him wants me, too. I know he does.”

Hope snoops around. Patrick comes back down. Hope opens the door to the room where Billie and Bo are trapped. She sneaks in. She hears Bo call out, “Hope!”

Caroline says, “I can’t. I’m a married woman. Those vows are forever. I broke them once. It hurt Shawn so much I swore I would never do it again. It’s not easy. I’ve seen what infidelity can do to a relationship.”

Hope hears moaning. “Where are they,” she asks. Patrick flips a switch and the trap door falls open. They peer down into the love nest. “NO,” says Hope.

John says, “I know you would never be unfaithful to me.” Oops. “What’s wrong,” he asks, “The kids will be fine. You told me to believe in the power of miracles and love and silly plots.”

“I love you,” says Marlena, “and I believe in us.”

“We all have to keep the faith here,” says John, “and believe there will be a happy ending.” You mean it will finally end?

“John,” you’re right,” says Roman, “I’m not losing anyone else I love. I promise the Fearsome Foursome will come home safe. John and I will see to it. And then I will find Sami and bring her home.”

Sami asks, “How could you bring my parents back? They’re dead.”

Tony says, “The dead can rise again, Samantha. Follow my orders and I will reunite you and your son with your parents.”

“I would do anything to get them back,” says Sami.

“Then the choice is obvious,” says The Phoenix.

Sami says, “I’ll do it. I swear to God, Tony, you’d better not be lying.”

“I’ll deliver right after you do,” says Tony, “The plan will work out perfectly. The people of Salem won’t know what hit them.”

Sami says on the phone, “Well, Tony, answer me, do we have a deal or not?” Bart does a hand-jive signaling Tony to say no.
